that is such a lie. its a coincidence that 2 boys and a mum took a turn into the cemetary. and why would you let your kids play there? and how did the two boys get in the basement freezer?

If both boys were hiding in the freezer. Who was doing the seeking?

this sounds like ****! 2 boys actully fit in a freezer???? i mean plus how long ago was this? long ago where people had main roads through cemitarys and cars were it didnt have doors and kids could just jump out and play? well if it was this long ago i dont think any 1 had come up with the idea of a freezer yet!

In the fort langley cemetary, there IS a tombstone of two young boys who died on the same day. Their pictures ARE on the stone. I couldnt find any reference to a freezer accident, but at least the story chec.ks out that much

In our last home we had a freeser where even an adult colud go in, but it was so full of food and other stuff that even me or my brother couldn’t fit in there when we were children. Even so, as it was in the basement (beacause otherwice it would have been on the way) I was allways scared to open it as a kid, ’cause I was afraid that I would find a corpse or something.
I’m from Finland so I do not know if there are big freezers in Canada.
I, myself, do not belive in this story. It has too many holes. Anyhow, I do belive in ghosts and that there may be some childen’s faces in tombstones. Everything is possible in this odd, crazy world..

Mistybear, they were in the DEEP freezer, Look at the word DEEP basically mean BIG. They took a shortcut through the cemetery and they were doing something called WALKING.

I lived in the house that the two boys died in. The freezer is big enough for three grown men to stand in. I did some research on the area, and apparently the two boys were buried in the same cemetery, died the same day, and same cause. Same surname as well. The woman who let her two boys play with the spirits, reportedly went insane. Her two sons committed suicide one year after their mother was went to an asylum.

I never heard of that story. Actually I was wondering if anyone ever heard of the story regarding the Marr house in Fort Langley. What I heard was that the ghose that is seen in the Marr house which is a resturant now, was a young girl that went to live with her aunt and uncle because she was pregnant, and that soon after she had the child she committed sucide, and that she is still seen today, anyone know anything about this story, would be interested in knowing. Well, I’m moving to Fort Langley next month, so I’ll be looking for this headstone and if anyone has the address where the two boys lived, I’d sure like to make sure that it isn’t my house. I know that when I was kid playing hide and seek – that if one of us found a really good hiding spot – we’d both get into it before switching turns. Might also have been the hiding game sardines. 3rd boy couldn’t find them? Once saw a fridge in a lane with a sign: “Don’t open this door – Children Playing Inside”

my best friend died and is burried in that cemmetery she was killed by her boyfriend every time i go to visit her i hear the 2 little boyz chanting “come play with us” i get scared then i find my dead friend and she tells me not to be afraid!!!!

i believe them. In 1960, we had a big freezer that you could fit four small bodies in them. Also, I never believed in gost until We moved into a haunted house. I heard footsteps and windows would shut by themselves. Also I would wake up at 300AM and hear voices upstairs.

well i guess back in the day parents hardly ever watched their childeren, I`m so glade that I never grew back then or I wouldn`t be here today. My mother always watched us thank god!!!!! ghost work in mysterious ways, i have had experiences and yeah there were scary, but not as bad as what the mother had to go through,but it sounds like that the ghost itself was playing with the boys, the ghost probably told them to hide there most likely, or they were falling something that they saw they looked in the freezer maybe and were pushed in, and the door closed on them , but who knows, this sounds right even though it most likely isn’t:(

Guys this is not funny this happend back in the 80s when the two boys of age 2 were dead found in the freezer the community went looking for them and all it was sad very sad the community went sad too this was back in 1988 and some says the boys are in teh cemmetary yep they are right they died to young you shuold be all be a shame of yourself and not make jokes about this ok all thank for listing

This story is a bit fabricated. The two boys were not brothers they were friends. The other kids in the neighborhood were playing hide and seek and they (being 2) tried to copy the older kids. They hid in a freezer that was not working, It was outside someones house and when it shut it locked them in because freezers are air tight. I grew up on this street and it was a complete tragedy when this happened. Go check out their joint tombstones in the Fort Langley Cemetery.

Yep this is true i grew up on wright street i had my older sister used to babysit them yep it true on what happend to these kids very sad it brings back memories again yeah i see their joint tombstone there picture of them both in gods hand out boys wow hope the family are strong they die so young very tragic so if you guys just not make jokes about this it would be best if you guys not make stories about this it hurts the families and friends and people who know what happened at that time thanks

I lived in Fort Langley when it happened, I was about three. They would have been about my age now. I don’t know any of the details, my mom remembers it more than I do, but it definitely did happen. The boy’s pictures are on the gravestone.
