On the anniversary of the murders, which occurs in January, the stench of burning human flesh is pungent. Blood appears to ooze from the upstairs foyer. One woman even reported feeling fingers caress her neck and bosom on that January day. Many believe the apparition to be that of the murderer; he was never found.
