In this building, that is now a Walmart, a woman was killed in an elevator crash. Many employees at the site have reported seeing a female apparition on the third floor of the building. There have been noises of stocked merchandise being knocked over on the floor, so many believe it is the ghost of the woman doing so.
This house is alleged to have a haunted bathroom. It is said that late one night a woman was home alone and decided to use the restroom. On the toilet, she saw a smallish looking person. In the late 1800s, a young Kansas farmer-turned-prospector by the name of Bill Thornburg was dreaming of gold. Mental Institution for Children
This site, which now lies deep in the woods, was once a mental institution for many "crazy" children in the 1930s. There is also a hospital associated with the abandoned cabins that lies 10 miles away. The children, who were violent or depressed, were sent here for treatment. Children who misbehaved were strapped to the beds with belts and beaten until they were unconscious. Many the children were killed and due to this cruelty, the facility was closed and the gate around the hospital's perimeter
Several miles away from most civilization lies a house known as The Boonies. It is said that an insane man and his rabbits lived in this house; the rabbits were all shaved. During the night, passers by would see a faint red glow coming from the house; they would also hear a high pitched wailing. The next day, rabbits with red skin would be seen running through the neighborhoods.
