The builder dismissed their claims and built anyway. Later, it was learned that in the early 1900’s, a young boy, Gilbert, lived in the area. Despite his mother’s warnings not to venture too close to the swamp, Gilbert was found by his father one day lying face down in the water. It is supposed that Gilbert’s ghost is responsible for many hauntings which include tampering with DJ equipment and turning on and off water faucets and lights.
