The beautiful and historic McCune Mansion in Salt Lake City is used as a venue for weddings, galas, anniversaries and other celebrations. It's known to be haunted by two apparitions. One, a man who is most often seen around Christmas time. He dons a black cape. The second, is a female child. She is typically seen during weddings and celebrations, and enjoys dancing and giggling.
Built in 1910 and in operation from 1910-1947, the Rio Grande Train Depot (which is now the home of the Utah State Historical Society) is known for a few hauntings and apparitions.
Originally built as a hospital, then later serving as a jail from the late 1970s to about 1998, it was home to several inmates. The building has been abandoned since the jail closed, but several mysterious occurrences have been reported. Voices from cells, lights flickering, doors slamming shut and opening and shadowy figures have all been reported.
