During the 1800s, this building was used to house many monks. One of these monks became disenchanted with society and himself, and thus committed suicide. It is said that the sound of moans and chains may be heard in the tower where the suicide occurred. Other reported hauntings include eerie sounds in the night, lights turning on and off, windows opening and closing, and the sighting of an entity throughout the house.

This cemetery is said to have been built by a Satanic family so that they might have an eternal resting place. In the middle of the cemetery, there are thirteen steps that lead to nowhere.
