Bourbon House
In 1985 Cleveland resident lived in this in the house for 3 years and saw, as well as heard and felt many spooky things. Her young son actually had conversations with on of the ghosts, who, as they found out later, was the man who built the house. There is nothing weird about the history of the house other than it stayed in the same family from the time it was built untill it was bought by this resident. The builder, his wife, their daughter and her husband all died in the house of age/health-related problems. Incidentally, it is located right down the street from Franklin Castle, a notorious Cleveland home!

I own the house and believe me, it is haunted, I have seen several of the previous residents roaming the halls. It is a great house.

Well thank goodness you never got all christian on us all! I used to be a devote catholic as a child…when I was old enough to think for myself and more importantly strong enough to not allow others to continue to force things on me I surrounded myself with lots of people who had many different views of the world from me. Man its interesting when you listen to what others have to say with an open mind.
Yeah I believe in ghosts, mainly because of some personal experiences, don’t mind if you call them angels though, it’s a nice way to remember my wife and daughter.

Wow,
Is it seriously that hard to write something intelligibly (understandable)? I can barely understand most of the stories and comments on this page, because people do not take the time to read their comments and correct major spelling and grammar errors. Your story is getting lost in your unbelievably poor English (Is it your first language?).

I have lived in Cleveland my whole life. I’ve been to Franklin Castle and have taken pictures of it, but I have NEVER been inside. Every year, there is a group that goes on ghosthunts and Franklin castle is on the ghosthunt. I’ve seen pictures of Franklin castle from the inside, but it’s not the same unless you’re actually in the castle, and are free to walk around and take pictures of whatever you want, as long as it’s okay with the owner(s). I have an interesting experience that I would like to share. This happened about 3 years ago, right after my youngest daughter was born. I was sitting in my living room, just relaxing in the recliner, and I happened to look at the TV (which was not on) and saw a white figure float down the hallway towards my daughters’ room. The strange thing is that I did not catch a glimpse of it with my peripheral vision, I only saw it in the TV. The hallway light was on, which was putting a reflection on the TV screen, and the figure didn’t cast a shadow as it floated or glided down the hallway. Well, I immediately checked on my older daughter, and she was sound asleep. So, I went to check on my husband and my youngest daughter, and they both were asleep, as well. The previous owner died in the house, so maybe that was him, I don’t know. Also, when we bought the house, and all the family was over and everybody was taking pictures, there was a very bright orb that appeared to the left of my dad’s shoulder. My father-in-law was the one who took the picture with his digital camera. That orb could be just dust, or it could be something else. My mom is in a nursing home with Alzheimers, and she’s in her early 60’s. she was diagnosed with AD in her mid 50’s. Maybe my mom was there in that house that day. Only in spirit. My mom is still living. Anyway, just wanted to share a few thoughts. I have always been into ghosts. I have always wanted to see one. I’m starting to doubt what I saw in the TV that night. You know, we all do that. We think that maybe our eyes deceived us, or our mind is playing tricks on us. I have tried numerous times to take pictures with my digital camera, hoping that something odd would show up. My brother says I’m expecting too much. I’m always looking for something to happen. Ghosts just don’t show up on que. They show up when they want to. That’s why I strongly believe in ghosts, and I feel that nothing paranormal has ever happened to me. Like if I walked into a place that is known to be haunted, would I actually FEEL anything? They say that everyone is psychic, to some degree. Anyway, love the website. Peace *_*
