This house is on the west side of Route 23 at the intersection of 23 and Flint Road. It’s a beautiful old house and I believe folks do live there now. I live quite near there and have seen lights in the house at night and it was decorated for Christmas last year. I’d like to see inside it just because it’s a really nice old house!

What a crock, no mention of satanic ritual killings in local paper archives. You must remember that 75-80 % of ghosthunting is “urban legends” or just plain flat out lies. I’ve been investigating and researching hauntings for nearly 20 years, and actual ones are few and far between.

hey, if u really do have the address i would really like if you could give it to me so i can go and check this out. I would kind of say that i do this for a living, going to different areas and checking out all the haunted things that go on in ohio. And listening to your commment, and i have also heard something like this before, my friends told me about something like this but they were to scared to go and check it out. IF you live around the New Albany/Gahanna area, there is a house that is haunted… I know this because I went there. My friends and I went there and were just about to go in until i saw a figure, or what i thought was a figure leave the window. We started to go inside when a knock came from inside. We ran like hell and the walk back to the car was freaky because there were bones off animals and what not on the side of the raod, and it felt like someone was walking behind me the entire time. Ive never been back. This story just reminded me of it, so I thought I would share mine.

I read this, then I read all the comments. I was just wondering if this is the house that was recently in the news. A man and his mother lives there and a month or so ago some teenagers from Worthington High were messing around the house because they heard it was haunted and, I guess, he shot one of the girls. I can’t remember her name, but last I heard she was in a coma, and he is up on charges. I just wondered if this is the same house.

well the only thing i can say is that unless i see it i can believe it. i think those things can be real because it happened to me once when i was 7 years old but at the same time i think it could also be a fake because this has never been seen before at least that i know. thanks for reading and letting me share my ideas.

To be honest with you, most of theese places on here or on a lot of theese sites are bull. I’ve gone to an abandoned orphinage in Looserville (louisville) and pretty much all it is is wierd when its dark. Other than that its a pretty boring place. Go there in the dark and its a little wierd, you cant see 2 inches in front of you and there are underground tunnels as well. There were two seperate buildings and one of them burnt down. Basically its a cool place to go get trast at, if the cops dont show!

The house was built in 78. I cant find if that is 1978 or 1878 but from the way the house looks, I’ll say 1878. It was bought by a reverend in 1987. It’s landuse is classified as “other residential” where as family homes are “family dwellings”. The house is along Rt. 23 (N High Street) just passed the Pontifical College on the right hand side, just north of I-270. Its up on a ledge above the street. You’d have to take college roads to get to it. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT CONDONE TRESPASSING ON TO PRIVATE PROPERTY. I gave the info so maybe if you were driving along the road, you would know where to view it. Also note around Christmas time, the front has some decorations on it, meaning someone is probably looking after it. To one of the previous post where the cheerleader was shot, that was south of 161 near High St.

Theres two other haunted houses in the gahanna/pataskala area (which is right outside of columbus)

Theyre both of of Waggoner road halfway between pataskala and reynoldsberg.

Both are abandoned.
The first one is just creepy all over the inside and you can hear a lot of weird things, but in the basement theres a single spotlight that works somehow and its a big dirt room with about 10 dirt tunnels that star in the room.

The second one is even creepier because somehow all of the lights work. All of the floors are covered in old newspapers and weird pictures that look like someone was stalking anouther person. Then in the attic theres a table in the center of the room that says “mouse trap” on a peice of paper.

My friend was dumb enough to steal an old bible from the first house and tons of bad, horrible things happened. For example, I got in a 75 mph head on collision. After that he returned the bible, but weve all sworn to never, ever go back.
