This house is right next to my neighborhood. It really is haunted. Nobody tries to screw around with that house. The stories are true.

LEGEND: Back in the 60′s, there was supposed to be a ritual killing in the house in which two people, presumably the occupants, were murdered. It has remained abandoned ever since even though many people have tried to move in, they did not stay for longer than a year except for a cult (the same one that were responsible for the murders?) moved in during the 80′s. After “flashing lights” were seen coming from inside the house, neighbors thought that this warranted a call to the police. Inside they discovered 8 decapitated bodies and no cultists, the belief is that they fled and were never caught. If you go there at night, you will hear the 8 ghosts of the victims converse with each other. In addition, the shadow of a hanged man appears hanging from one of the trees near the house.
Blood stains still can be seen on the floor(s) and despite the grisly murders, no one was ever caught and charged.

THE TRUTH: Nothing about the above story is even remotely true.
No murders (at the hands of a “cult” or otherwise) have ever took place here, the house has always been occupied with only a few short exceptions and in fact it is decorated every Christmas.
There are several trees, so I cannot say for certain which one is supposed to have the hanging ghost. The brick house is quite old and it looks out of place next to the Pontifical College, but the only murders that have took place are in the imaginations of the believers. After repeated attempts to find any newspaper reports (both from Delaware and Franklin county) that even hint at any crime other than trespassing, I was unable to find anything. Of course if anyone has any evidence to the contrary, please let me know.
Barring that, the people that have said they have been in this house and seen the blood stains are complete ******* idiots and liars.

LOCATION: The house is right next to the Pontifical College on State Route 23, just north of I-270 west of Flint Road. This house (7755 N HIGH ST) is occupied and you will have the police called on you if you trespass. If you try to look for 8 ghosts at night on private property, you pretty much deserve to be spend a night in jail.

i was in the house, there IS blood stains on the floors, marks from where it looked like someone had dug there nails into the wall with blood stains, the house smells like rotten blood, it is awful. its hard not to get sick from the smell..the upstairs looks like they started to remodel it, one of the rooms has kitten pictures all over it. there is somethings that was still left there. they have all the doors sealed. but if u follow the driveway where the gates are..there is a side door u can now get in to because i climbed thru the window and opened it. there is like a garage/ mini shop attached in the rear of the house, there is like tables with straps on them, big *** old saws, 4 bottles of sulfuric acid. and news paper clippings of missing people. it is on lazelle rd, you turn onto lazelle by this gas station, im pretty sure it was a BP. its a white house. kinda set a TAD bit back. the house will be off to your left. if your looking hard enough, you cant miss it.

does anyone know if the house on the corner of livingston and mc naughton is haunted? It has been vacant as long as I can remember ( since about 1977) and whenver a crew appears to be working in it they don’t last very long. It is in east columbus and has a blue tarp on the east side of it.
