Without reading through all the posts, I just want to say that the tapes were done by some students at the time. They blurred the pictures to LOOK like Mr Pair, but it's not real...at least the tapes aren't. I do think there is a ghost, but those tapes aren't real. I was good friends with some of the students who did them.

I go to airport right now, and i've experienced the ghost thing.
me and a couple of my friends were there after-school for color guard, and we walked past the bathrooms, and all of them flushed at the same time, and there was no one in there.
i belive it... you should too.

Yeah, I graduated from Airport in 2006 and I can tell you that in 4 years I never saw anything like what is described on this website. Airport isn't haunted, at least it wasn't 3 years ago when I went to school there. There were a lot of days I had to get to school real early, and sometimes I stayed real late, for different things and I never saw this ghost.

Hello all, I am from Columbia, I went to Chapin Elementary and Chapin Middle, moved to Orangeburg for 2 years and then moved back to Columbia to go to Heathwood. While in Chapin Elementary, I was chosen as one of 5 students from our school to take part in some event / contest going on at Airport High School. I was in the 4th grade I believe (1994) and each student had to pick a country and do a report on it; I think the winner got 100 dollars or something. Anyway, the 4 guys from my school had set up their stuff in the morning, I was late. When I got there they were out of tables and chairs so I had to go "exploring" to find some. I did and came back to set up. My mom came up to me about an hour later and asked what was wrong saying something like "you have been acting very strange since you left to get chairs" I don't remember if I saw anything but i do remember being very uneasy walking those halls by myself. Something obviously got to me though because for at least a year my mom asked what was wrong with me that day, I was always a very energetic talkative kid and she said I wouldn't talk to anyone and just stared off into space most of the day. I didn't think anything of it until I read this (now 15 years later) and thought...hmmmmm, maybe.... I’ve never been back there since, but I would love to go someday. Never seen a ghost but I have seen my grandma's angle floating in my room days after she died, pretty cool....

Oh, yay..... footsteps. Personally, I don't think that it's such a big deal. I'd actually love to visit this school just to figure it out. I've lived in haunted houses all of my life and actually liked it. I appreciate your story though!!
