Jojo, I believe Ardmore was located on the east side of Farmington between 7 and 8 Mile.
Big T, Eloise was located on the northeast corner of Michigan Ave and Merriman.

To just clear up a few things, Ardmore was located around 9 mile in Livonia and it wasn’t related in any way to Eloise or Clinton Valley. In a span of about three months – before the hospital was torn down – I got the chance to visit Ardmore on four differnt occasions. I wasn’t doing anything more than simple searching with some friends of mine, but Ardmore did give off some interesting ‘vibes’.

On my first visit, my friend and I showed up, only to be surprised by another group of ‘visitors’ who knew a bit about the area and how the local cops would drive around the building, every night, around 12 a.m. So, we made our way to the roof and sat up there until we saw a patrol car make it’s rounds and then leave. Afterwards, my friend and I went off on our own and checked out the main hospital and the house that was attached to it. As to how many ‘individual’ floors there were, I’m not sure, I just know that there were different parts of the building set up on different levels.

The second and third times I visited, we found some animal – not sure if it was a beaver, muskrat or whatnot – which had had it’s stomach cut open and the intestines were pulled out and twined around the body. I’m not saying it was supernatural, but a friend of mine who was into witchcraft, said that it could have been a site for Satanic rituals. There was never an odor of decay (except from the dead animal), but there was a strong smell of burned materials where it seemed as if someone had been trying to set the place on fire. We – ourselves – actually spent some time in the gymnasium with a small fire in an old metal garbage can we found. It was interesting to sit and listen to the sounds of the hospital around us.

As for hauntings, I believe that there were energies there that were left over from when the hospital was actually running, but we didn’t have the opportunity to see any apparitions. Beyond the odd sounds here and there and the feeling of ’sadness’, we didn’t have any extraordinary experiences.

Haunted? Yes, I would believe so.

As for Clinton Valley Hospital, you can find the land where the hospital stood in Pontiac on the eastside of Telegraph from the Summit Place Mall. There is a single building left standing, but it was a more modern day children’s hospital. Eloise is another interesting place to visit, but it is heavily patroled by security and access to the ‘now’ office buildings is prohibited.

i’m not sure if ne one still comes to this site or not, but if ne one knows where the old slaughter house is, out in utica, I’d like to know. I was there once with some friends. They drove so I dont remember exactly where it’s at I just know it’s off of 59E in Utica. And it’s very haunted. Granted, this was like 7yrs ago that I went there. Thanx.

By the way, before it was a slaughter house, I was told, it was a phsyciactric ward. Back when “crazy people” were punished.

In regards to your inquiry, the Slaughter House in Utica has been torn down.

Just a question, anyone know where the Striker house is? I was visiting a friend and she told me the house was completely haunted, we never got the chance to visit it, some old man currently lives there, but my friend’s dad lived there when he was a kid, and I guess he would hear lots of violent noises and see things. Apparently it was one of the first hospitals in the area for the wounded or something, Idk, I was just wondering why it wasn’t in here.

I worked there in the 90’s and it was called Ardmore Acres then. It was on Farmington Road between 7 Mile and 8 Mile roads, (19810 Farmington Rd). I never saw anything happen there, but I only worked there a short time. I was to do bookkeeping, but one night they wanted me to escort a “patient” from one area to another for some kind of treatment, and I refused saying that it wasn’t what I was hired on for, and they still tried to make me do it, so I quit. I can imagine plenty of hauntings possible on the site considering some of the things that went on there.

Hello Everyone,
I recently mentioned another website that had a large number of pages that lists supposed haunting. I also mentioned that if you emailed me, I’d be glad to share the URL address with whomever was interested. You can email me at sbce3 at excite dot com.

I received an email from a JEFF O’RILEY who requested the site’s address. JEFF…I have tried to email you the information using the email address you gave me, THREE times, and it keeps bouncing back. I just didn’t want you to think that I was ignoring you! I just can’t get the email to you!

Well i was therea bout two years ago with my my friend jess and we were walking around the building and we kept seeing this little girl about 8 or nine in a white dress with a red ball in the parking lot on the left of the building and then about two weeks later we were on my back porch which is like a mile and a half a way she took a picture of me on my steps from my back door and the same little girl we saw was in the picture standing behind me and she was in the same white dress and was holding the same red ball also we had seen a man in the window of the front of the building and had randomly seen shadow people that would run and dissaprear in the windows and openings of the building. And now they built single family homes on top of the property when ardmore sat and i have driven by there a few times and seen shadowy figures walking down the streets between the street light of the sub that was built on top of where it stood

Well, of course we all know that Ardmore is gone, and has been since like 2003. People claim that the place was haunted, but really, it was just inhabited by homeless people. Me and my friends used to go in there all the time, and we never heard or felt anything at all. I think it was just a bunch of rumors started by bored teenagers who had spray paint cans. I also knew a couple of people that were REAL investigators, had their own website and everything. They agreed that the place was not haunted. I do miss the place. I think the creepiest part was when you had to walk through the woods to get to the back of the building. Oh, and the smell that people are referring to as “dead bodies,” was really just mold, and the smell of a really old building.
People used to talk about there being tunnels in that place. They were never found, and couldn’t be located on the blueprints either. Plus, the place wasn’t big enough to have tunnels in the first place.

I live right by there and the building was really creepy to look at but my dad grow up in the neighborhood right by it and was in it all the time. he said that nothing bad happend in there, just teenagers making stories out of it. But he did agree it was really dark and there are some werid things inside. And just to clear it up MARK Ardmore is on farmington road inbetween 7 and 8 mile road in LIVONIA..

Hello all,

I have been living on the old Ardmore site in Livonia for 2 years. It is a very quiet Association and a nice place to live. No ghosts left here, just good spirits most nights. There’s single family homes and multiple family units both. Have a good day!
