Well I am not here to dis, just to state mi facts! WHo knows if it is real or who knows if its fake! But Vanessa has a point! Wat if it was based on a true story! But I do know dat who ever put that story on here is stupid cuz its so common! You coulda came up wid sumthin better than dat!

I enjoy a lot of these stories on this site, and they really give me goosebumps! However, this can’t be true. I’ve heard many versions of this story that IS FICTION such as, “Knock, Knock, Knock” and “Tap, Tap, Tap” and so on forth. I actually watched a show where a story was to be true or false. This story was on the show but was claimed false. There is similar facts and details to it though, as in teenagers could get killed by an escaped prisoner. Don’t fret, I saw this on TV.

all of you that don’t know how to read need to shut up. only two poeple on here have a good point its how you procive it. most tall tails are at one time or another are started from a true story like skid love said. i’m not saying i believe it nor disbelive it but some of you still need to pass the 1st grade because you don’t know how to read a couple of lines and keep it straight.

some say its true some dont. I think it may of happened in a way. i think he was hung in a different way. i dont even think he was hung! his throat was slashed. he could of been thrown on the tree. but thats just me. you believe what you want to. you never know…….

I believe it. I believe every word. I know the spot and I saw UFOs there and I also met an Alien there. Yeah, I know the spot and I think I know the man who hanged the beau. If you look at the old oak with the yellow ribbon around it, you’ll find rope burns on the branch. I haven’t seen it myself, man but yeah.

This is so fake! It came on on supernatular on the wb once so why would someone take something so horrible and put it on tv if it actually happened that would be totally disrespectful to the people who actually died……if it happened, which i doubt.

You think that just because its disrespectful people wouldn’t put it on tv? And just because it was on tv or in the movies, doesn’t mean that it orginated there. For example, Sleepy Hollow, an ancient urban legend thats been around forever. Yet there are numerious stupid movies about it.

Again, with stories like this, its all about how people percieve it and retell the story.
