Baby Bridge
If one travels to this bridge, turns off his car and places his keys on the hood of the car, he will see a woman with a baby carriage strolling across the bridge. The woman will then turn towards him and cast a very stern look. Some have even heard babies screaming near the bridge.

The baby bridge exists in so many places for the simple reason that it is an urban legend
. Heh, so in actual fact, it exists only in people’s active imaginations…

I agree that there seems to be a baby bridge story in every town. I live in a town that has several stories like this. i have never actually tried it. If this many stories have been made up one of them must be true.

I think there is a simple explanation for all these cry baby bridge stories. My house sits on about five acres of woods. One night I was awakened by the most horrific sound I have ever known. It sounded like a child lost in the woods and screaming in pain for its mother. It was a loud wailing, “MAH-A-MA-A-MA!” and the sound kept moving, like it was coming from everywhere. This happened right after Susan Smith drowned her children in the lake in South Carolina. That’s all I could think about was that some child was lost or hurt in the woods late at night. I found out what I heard was a bobcat. If you have never heard one, let me tell you it will make your blood curdle and bring tears to your eyes. But even more importantly, you don’t need to be messing around in the woods with a bobcat on the loose. If you just have to go investigate for yourself, then go and listen, but don’t get out of the car.

I have lived in Calhoun all my life and went to baby bridge many times. it does not work. for one thing the read has been rerouted about 50 Yard’s to the right of the original bridge and the old bridge is no longer there.
They took it down after many people saw the mother of the baby on the old bridge. No one ever saw the baby from what i was told by my grand parents.

this bridge is on a road called “Lacey Road” which is off of “Hall Station Road” going towards Kingston.. Hall Station road is off of Highway 140 going to Rome from Adairsville..
me and my friends have been to this road a few times.. and we’ve always had hand prints all over our cars everytime.. we even made sure to not touch our car and still managed to find some.. however only one time have we actually witnessed something.. our keys were on top of the car and the lights started turning on and off.. and we also felt a vibration.. we didnt stick around very long afterwards tho.. but its real.

okay so I never heard of Crybaby Bridge in Columbus, GA until Thursday night. My brother had came home and told me the he and a couple of his buddies were out there and nothing really happend they just took some pictures, they were pretty cool. Then Friday night his friends thought it would be fun to stay the night there. So they went out and my brothers friend had shouted because he saw a ghost of a little boy below the bridge, next they saw a orange light come and go, as they were leaving my brother fell to the ground because he said it felt like something like really long fingers grabed him. When he came home he was telling me and lifted up his pant leg I was in shock and he was too, there were finger nail cuts/marks in his leg. Saturday night we decided at the last minute to go out there to prove to one of his friends something is up. As we got closer his started to feeling sick and his leg was hurting. When we got there we parked on the bridge and started looking around and walking to the other end of the bridge. We had saw a truck drive past and we thought he was coming back so we just decided to go home. As we were walking to the car my brother fell and screamed in pain because his leg hurt so bad. we got him into the car and he started driving, but before we even got off the bridge my leg just shot up in pain I cried so hard I couldn’t believe it. My brother had gotten onto the main road and pulled over because it was to hard for him to drive. The pain lasted for a bit even when we had gotten home.
Were going to go out there again but with 5-6 more people but were not going to be on the bridge, my brother is going to cross it him self and then I will. I don’t know what is going on out there but its still cool to be in places like this.
