i went to this bailey house, and ill tell you what that place is scary as hell. i went with a few of my friends and my friends mom. we went around 7:00 and it was getting really dark. my friend was totally freaking out because she saw a person in the window. we didnt get the nerve to go in the house because the outside was scary enough. we parked not very far down from the house. we kept on hearing something tapping on the boarded up windows and **** like that. my friend erin and i decieded to walk around the back and look in the door so we did and then we heard something and ran. sherr call us wussys but we were really scared. as soon as i got there i kept on hearing this creaking noise coming from the woods, but i was the only one who heard it, but when we were walking back to the card we were prolly 10 feet from the house and we this REALLY loud creaking noise and this time everybody heard it. we ran soo fast bck to the car and drove off. then when we were on our way back we hit something on the road and we were bouncing all over the place and my friends mom couldnt drive anymore so we pulled over to see what was wrong. and we didnt see anything. so we were like “what the hell?” so we started driving again and we got to thinking that the woman that killed everyone possesed our car. then prolly about 5 minutes later we heard a screaching noise coming from under the car and then we pulled over in this parking lot because we couldnt drive at all. so we looked under the car and the bar that holds the two front tires together was broken. and it was practically a new car and we had no idea how it could’ve broken except for that mother ******* woman that killed everyone in that bailey house! so we had to walk all the way down this highway to this bar kuz it was the only thing that was open at 11:30 at night. so we called my friends sister to come and pick us up and as soon as we got in the car the radio kept changing the station without anyone touching it. and ever since we got to the house i got these really bad headaches until i got home. idk it was really weird…and scary as hell man! that place is haunted.

we think that someone should stay the night in the house with a video recorder and then place it on the site. (that is if you get out alive)

whom ever does go through the house with the video camera needs to put it online so the rest of us can see it for ourselves, (that is if you make it out alive).

ill try to put the video on and this creepy pic of us standing around and i was standing RIGHT THERE and in the pic u can see like a idk..like fog/mist coming from the wall and floor kinda.but their was no fog anywhere else. it was a PERFECT day.no rain.clouds.perfect day.its so wierd.

Hey! It turns out that now my parents want to move to charlavoix. Anybody know of any haunts there? If so please list them and/or their stories on here. I heard a new story about the bailey house that would explain the alleged sightings of a little girl. Once after the house was no longer lived in, a young woman (babysitter, sister, mom, relative?) took a little girl into the bailey house and killed her with a knife. I learned this story from my neighbor who is very interested in the bailey house. She is a mom of 2 and might go there with her own mom!

Hey, my brother and his friends went into the Bailey house last week and video taped everything. They even caught 2 ghosts! No joke. I watched the tape myself and saw them. The first one was the face of a woman. Mouth, eyes, nose, hair and everything. And the second one was a figure moving across and along the wall. It looked like it was wearing a white buttoned up shirt. You could see the collar of the shirt around it’s neck. Freaky man! There def. are spirits in that house, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re evil. There’s a difference between demands and spirits.

This house is now gone. It was torn down just a couple of days ago. The lady who grew up there said that no one was ever killed in the house and that the house was in her family for over 100 yrs. But she never denied that there were ghosts there.

THE BAILEY HOUSE IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I drove by there today Thursday, August 24 2007 and it was nothing but boards and a bull dozer!!!!!!!!!! I loved the Bailey house and now it is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bailey house in lowell was recently demolished due to people breaking in and vandalizing it. The owner did not want anyone to get hurt and go after them. I drive by the site still today late at night while on the ambulance going to and from Lowell and nothing has happened yet.

I cant believe I just sat here and read most of these posts trying to gather information…its obvious most of you are flying by the seat of your pants and/or are here just to argue back and forth. Most of you may only be 12, 13, 14 years old BUT you can act much more mature than you are here now, you should be embarrassed by the way you all are acting. Believe me, you arent tough and you arent funny, you will look back on what youve posted in a couple of years and know how stupid and immature you all sound.

Let me remind you that whether the Bailey house is haunted or not, unless you have permission from the current owner, you are ALL trespassing and for those of you who are stealing articles whether it is mail, newspapers or other objects from the property, that is ILLEGAL. For those of us who are real ghost hunters who are honestly trying to determine (or debunk) supposed hauntings, these kids that are breaking and entering constantly have probably ruined it for you. And all of you idiots running around like criminals breaking into homes and stealing things, tearing things down, breaking windows and doors to get in…what do you think gives you the right to break into someone else’s property? All of you are damn lucky the police havent caught you breaking in or taking things. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

If you REALLY want to act responsibly and find some really good evidence either for or against this haunting, why dont you go find the records on the owners of the house, try to get ahold of someone with the authority to grant you permission to stay overnight there, take your cameras and recorders and do an investigation the correct way? Then when you come back and say “Ive been there, I saw this, I saw that…” you would have the permission and the evidence to back your stories up. I would think that would make you feel much more proud of what you had done than the way you all are acting now.

this house is not around any more they tore it down about 3 months or so ago… i live in lowell and i have also been there before it was torn down and me and 3 other people saw a little girl wearing a light blue dress in the upstairs window that was not borded up.. it was the only window that hadnt been borded..
