Ive beem to this house and its in no way haunted. its just an old abandoned house that a bunch of trespasser have destroyed over the years. and the so called blood on the wall looks like some kind of food. blood stains would be brown not a purplish red. and everything about the lady in a nursing home is true. Eveybody has a different story, the one going around here is that an old woman had her young granddaughter for a weekend but had to go to work so she left her home alone and while she was gone some guy came and killed the little girl. none of the stories are even simular, which further proves that its all made up.

It doesn’t prove they are made up. It proves that people are vulnerable to suggestion. Any story could be true, and the house did send a creepy aura about, but i do agree that the house was just very vandalized over the years. It had to have been last lived in in the 1990’s due to the phonebook lying open on the floor by the piano. I didn’t see any bloodstains so I have no idea what anyone is saying there….I saw an old, destroyed house. The newer sheds in the backyard were what really freaked me out. The sheds looked brand new, whereas the house wasn’t just recently abandoned, so it was pretty cool. And oh yeah, did I mention it’s torn down now? No use looking for it. Bye-Bye Bailey house forever.

Thats a lie…This story isnt true because I did all the research & I even went 2 c if it was haunted but it was just a dumb old nursing home that had been abonded 4 sum years. I went inside and I saw a bunch of construction workers. I looked around it. The nursing home was on top of the bailey house. I went to the basement because it was still there and there was no stairs it was a 5 feet drop and it was full of red water and the smell was HORRIBLE.

This is what i think. Its haunted to some, but not to others, it just depends on the person. Some people have strange abilities and extra senses, so thats what it is.
But i went there last halloween and i didnt stay for only 2 minutes because the other kids that were there were really loud and we didnt want the cops called on us. i wish i could have seen some of this stuff though.

You children amaze me you want to be all grown up then you run all over and act like 2 year olds. First off you cant know if a place is haunted until a proffesional goes in and investigates. All you people have done is go into a place spread the address around so that a bunch of other irresponsable kids can go in a tear it up. THATS the reson it got torn down every single one of you who went in there are guilty of this. If you want to be a ghost hunter be responsable and ASK the owners for permission. Most times if theres not alot of of kids tearing it up there pretty willing to let you go in and investigate.
But again your going to have to show some creditials and not fly by the seat of your pants. PLese guys next time be a bit more adult and dont ruin it for everyone.

OK,Let me start out saying that if the Bailey house is really torn down now that really bits.I was going to go back and try some new research.Myself and 2 of my Girlfriends went there in the fall of 2006.We are real Ghost hunters.We just started out but you have to start somewere right? Anyway we were all excited about going to the Bailey House.Upon going there I was getting my camera ready for this and driving down the road to this house.My camera started to act up? Then all the sudden a message came on the screen.It had the word’s GO BACK? I showed this to my 2 other friends and they started to freak out.I said maybe it’s just a crazy thing that really meant nothing.So we continued on, finally finding the place.It was really dark out.I think it had to be about 2am. So of course it took alot of talking to get the courage to even get out of the car.So we said we came all this way and we better get out of the car and do this! So we did.Remember it was really dark.We couldn’t see too much.We didn’t want the other neighbor’s to see flashlight’s and call the police.There really isn’t any neighbor’s close by except across the street and back a little.As a matter of fact I remember x-mas light’s on across the street so it must have been around the Holiday.It’s all starting to come back now.It’s was really creepy walking up to the house my hand’s were shacking and the camera wasn’t steady at all.We got to the back of the house and there was a shed in the back yard and two other’s in the distance.We were taking picture’s all around the house.We caught strange figure’s around the shed’s.Also in the back porch of this house it was trashed.The house was so messy that we could barly find our way thru.Anyway we got to the kitchen because that is the first room after the porch.And there was blood splatted on the wall’s the fridge was pushed over,people’s clothes everywere like someone just up and left.Also there were what looked like pill’s laying all over and paper’s everywere. I really don’t think that the blood on the wall’s was that of a human because it would’ve turned a darker color.I think someone put that there unsure of what it really was? The house had a strange sense of coldness to it.Not your normal coldness.The ceiling was falling apart it looked like there were hole’s in the ceiling.This house has had it.There was another room before the main living room maybe the dining room that had a new’s paper that looked new but was dated back to the 80’s.Everything else was a nasty brown or crupted.It was amazing to think how this new’s paper looked brand new.They say that thing’s of really old age that should have sign’s of tarnish might be the port hole for the spirit’s to come in and out?? Like I have said the house was really trashed and looked old and run down.But there were stange sound’s coming from this house around us I even caught a dark strange voice from my recorder.It sounded like it said go back the same as my video recorder said on the way there?? We got to the piano in the left hand corner of the other room and it looked like there were print’s on the key’s but that could’ve been from anyone? We were getting wierd vib’s and wanted to leave but I said we came this far let’s go upstair’s.So we decided to venture up the stairs and all of the sudden it was really cold, colder than normal.I started taking pic’s and was video taping at the same time.All of the sudden my friend got a sick feeling and wanted to leave but right when we were gonna leave we caught a white figure on the video camera and on our picture’s we were taking we had a digital camera so you could see what was on the camera as you took them.So of course we all screamed and started to run out of the house.My friend got so ill that I had to Drive us back home but before we got to far we stoped at a gas station and wanted to see what was on the video.It really wasn’t what we saw on the camera but what we heard.It sounded like a raspie voice.We really couldn’t understand what it was saying but something was sure there…So in my eye’s I would have to say that weather it was a bad or good spirit or spirits something is there or should I say was there.Maybe the property would still be Haunted? If those shed’s are still there I would have to say that the land is still Haunted with something.It’s not alway’s a house that is haunted land and other thing’s sure can be too.And if the story that I heard is true about this house then,well something still lurk’s there.I was told that way back when the house was built on the property and because it was the first house built on that road they named the road after the owner’s last name Bailey.So that’s how the house got it’s name and the road.The couple had alot of children and treated them as slaves and locked them up in those shed’s etc. That are on the property.Some of those children died in the shed’s.That is why I think I got so much action on my camera around those shed’s? Whatever the case I do believe something was there?? It’s really too bad we can’t get an honest answer.I have done research on the bailey name and location and have found some answer’s but not the one’s I really want????? 1-15-08…. HA! The Bailey House isnt haunted. Ive been there tons of times with friends who swear theyve seen things in the house but I never have. I dont know. I was just hoping for so much more than I got.

I believe in ghosts, but I don’t believe this house to be haunted. And if it was haunted, the spirit seems harmless.
Only one story through all the comments match up. It is nice to see teenagers use thier imaginations and honestly, Stephens comment seems the most accurate and sounds true.
(If someone were to lock girls in a basement and starve them to death, and people knew about it, wouldn’t it be on the news and in newspaper archives?)
