I tried to do some amateur ghost hunting while on a tour…evp’s…emf…photos…etc…but upon entering the mansion…all my electronic devices would not work…once out of the mansion everything worked properly again…no explanation for the malfunction…however did not experience anything while in the mansion.

haha guys serouisly theres gonna a ghost communiting with you trust me i have lived in altoona for like ever and still will i have had a few experinces in the baker mansion but no ghost will go on letting you keep on wondering if they excist they will communicate with you somehow okay just calm down its not like they will come and haunt you okay trust me hahaha love ya peeps

I am interested in finding houses in the area or those in need of assistance of help with homes or businesses that are haunted. I do not judge. I do a full investigation. I try to get you the proper help. I am not just interested in finding so-called demons which rarely exist. Any one that would just like to talk and tell me there story–I am good at that too.

Hmmm. Interesting accounts along with a good dose of skepticism as well. Whom to believe? I think I will err on the side of caution and explore the mansion for my own selfish reasons I’ve been staying in Altoona just about four weeks now while my fiance’ is working at the Penn State Altoona campus. I’ve explored nearly every neighborhood, shopping center, etc. but have yet to visit any historical sites. I drove past Baker Mansion this morning around 6:15am after dropping Russell off at work. I have to admit I am absolutely smitten with the architecture,grandiosity and beauty of the building(s) and property. I plan to take a tour this afternoon if all goes as planned. I am excited for more reasons than the possibility of encountering paranormal phenomenom- I truly appreciate PA’s history and participating in a tour to learn more about the past is very appealing to me. Also, as an aside, I am surprised that there are only two posts for 2010 and prior to these, the last posting was from October 2009.Just wondering….and noticing…..is there pattern to ‘activity peaks’? o i forgot 2 say i lived their all my life so i no everything onetime i saw the window open because i sneaked out of the window from my bed room so i peaken my hed thrue the baker mn, window ther was one light i tried to clime thrue the window but just when i was haf way thrue AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA some thing touched my spine it felt like a skeletin HAND it dug its claus in my spine was about to faint when the window started to close in on me but i strugeld out i lost my fav celphone thrue the window but at least Im safe then sorry i had 2 make a huge exuse to tell my perants but i got a new 1# check in later for more comments or email me at tieluver101@aim.com for more stores; )

i have seen it happen befor i live by it one time i actully tried to look thru the window at midnight when something hit the window i hard a little girl voice sed HELP ME i freaked out somtimes screams are her thrue the basment at night chenk in later i could tell you MORE IF YOU LIKE OR just send an email totieluver101@aim.com YOU COULD HER EVEN MORE SCARY THINGS IF YOU CAN HANDEL IT : )
