The first settlers came to this area in 1820, so there are deffinitely NO homes over the age of 200 years around here. So most definitely, that part of the story above is false. It might not all be untrue. Stories change, get blown out of porportion and turn into campfire stories to scare little children with.

I mean no disrespect to the people above who claim to have lived in the house. My saying the story doesn’t hold water does not mean the place can’t be haunted. It’s just not haunted by a fictional masacre that happened decades before the area was inhabited with pioneers, unless the dates are way off. I’d be very interested in hearing more about the home, when was it built? Did you ever discover any information which would indicate who was haunting your home and why?

I know the family who used to live there and is posting about this house. I was actually at the house the night that a psychic came over. It’s a true story and I’m glad they got out of that house!!! It scared the heck out of me staying there all the time!

I used to live in a hunted house when I was in the 3rd grade. An old lady haunted the house, it was a harmful situation. I had cuts and scratches everytime I walked through the door. And there were dark figures walking right by me in my bedroom at night. At first I thought that it was my brothers, but they were all asleep. So I went to see if my parents were up, but they were asleep too. I wanted to tell somebody but I was a freak enough.

Shot with Muskets huh… lets see 6 people 1 shot per musket and a speedy reloader thats about 5 MINUTES. Those guns sound like a damn cannon going off so Im SURE those other 5 people who watched it all go down just stood there while the crazy farmer did his devilish business. What kills me most is people accually buy this ****. Go to Tippicanoe state park. Go on the east side of the river and about 1 mile south along the river of the boarder to the State park. Make a camp site there and stay the whole night.That is a real haunted location in Indiana. By the way for those who dont know its on St Rt 35 about 10 minutes south of Winamac

faith ur story reminds me of my brother Brad he used to get such bad cuts hed hav to hav stiches and he saw a really deformed old lady i saw it aswell i followed it dragged brad downstairs and it threw through the window i was really hurt but i wouldnt let my little brother down i was like u motherfucker LEAVE HIM ALONE GOD DAMNIT **** OFF AND HAUNT SUM1 ELSE U ******* and poof the ghost neva haunted us again weird huh

I am a owner/operator of a group of ghost hunters in indiana….. first… we have been to many small family graveyards that date back to the mid 1700s….. so there was some kind of population here that long ago, so obviously you are just going by what a text book says about no settlement till the 1800s….. and second we have been here and it is in fact a very haunted place…. we have gotten alot of evps, many phenomenas on tape and in pictures, and alot of our own personal experiences, so if you dont believe it then go check it out for yourself

I 100% agree with you all the people who try and take away the fun out of the story. Just calm down people this is a story could be true or could be something someone made up but you are kind of taking things too seriously. So what if the barn is haunted and so what if it is only one way to find out. GO THERE! Then you can come back and tell us what happened dont ruin the story.

what is the address of this barn? another thing Ive been hunting with shot guns and muzzle loaders for 8 years now. it only takes me about 1 minute and 30 seconds to load and fire a muzzle loader. I am also 19 now, also 200 years ago I believe there was a population there I live 45 minutes away. I live in la porte , and 100 years ago the was a mass murderer in la porte named belle gunness. the mass murderer land is about a 10 minute walk from my house.

I went there! It was realy freaky! It was filled with birds and wasps and there was a closet! And there was a shirt that had blood on it! That’s about when I got totaly freeked out and left the barn! So it is true, if you take my word for it.

This is located on Somerset St. In Mishawaka ,IN. this place is rumored to be haunted by a little girl in a red dress with dirty blonde hair.her family is there but i guess they are pretty quiet other then footsteps.this information can be found in a book titled South Bend Ghosts.i dont remember the author.i think Stephen Something

last night my friends and i had walked over there to that house about 6:30ish. we went and took pictures of the house and we didnt see anything but then when we got back to her house we took a closer look by zooming into the pictures and we saw this older looking lady with like dark hair and u can see her face and mouth and her nose.and in another picture we have this little girl who has her arms held out and also one where i had spotted a picture of a dog.
