I want to go soo bad. It seems really interesting. My teacher said she was there when the house was not demolished and she was scared out of her mind. I wish I could have some kind of experience. And I remember a long time ago I found a newspaper and on one side it had a really old date, and the picture was of bell witch in a dress in her house w/ potions and a pot, as the captioned said.. But I’ve between then and now. I wish I still had it.

hmph… i have been to the bell witch cave nd it doesnt seem scary at all.. i was in the back of the line exiting the cave nd was hit in the head with something.. not hard but hard enough to feel it… we also felt a breeze coming from the opposite end of the entry so tht is unexplained… but whoever wrote this story did not tell the full story.. the bell witch actually saved a kid long ago.. there is a movie on it.. look it up nd watch it if you want to know more about this story..

Considering this legend has been around for awhile, I think it is a must see for.. believers.. which I am. I believe there are things that we are not sure about in this world.. A lot of words to describe these pheonomenons.. I am actually going to see the cave.. on spring break.. I’m excited for this trip

In my family tree im relatied to the adams family and i went their nothing happened except when i got home i seen a lady in my house and vanished in thin air

back in 2001 me and 2 of my guy friends went there at night with my 6month old puppy because my mom said they sense things we dont well when we got close to the cave the dog started wippering and tryed to get in the floor board under i feet well when we got there there was no bugs no noise what so ever the dog would not get out of the car so i stayed with the dog and let the boys go to the cave i keep on seeing a light witch look like a lantern get closer and circle around i was ready to leave my friends there because i was driving they came running back and said they heard something running in the water bit nothing was there just waves where something waalked threw there well when we took off it was foggie something black went over my car twice and later on that night one of the guys went to the hospital because of heart problems well he was released the next day he had a heart attack he was 22 then 2 days later i went to the hospital my pendix rupshered and i was released 4 days latter i was 18 then the other guy was 20 and he was haveing trouble breathing he was released later on that night so all 3 of us had something happen to us affter we left and my dog ran away 2 weeks later so u do the math i think it had something to do wit that place and i lst my first born son ayear after it happend i want go back there there is something really wrong with that place

Okay, i used to live in Adams for 5 years! Im 13 and i went to the bell witch cave in August. My mom took my boyfriend and I. So, before we went in, the tour guide told us the story about the bell witch and bell witch cave. We got in, and I had a VERY eerie feeling, so I looked over and I could swear I saw a white rabbit. But, I turned and looked again, it wasnt there. This cave is not a playground, so if you go, i reccomend do not play around with things for your safety. I heard a story about these teenagers, they hid from their group and stayed over night, ended up so they ended up staying in the cave. One boy, had to use the bathroom, so he went. When his girlfriend went looking for him, (he was gone a while) she found him stuffed in a hole, dead. My mom also had an experience. She and her friend went when they were teenagers, and her friend took a rock. They got to the end of the driveway where you come in, and their car broke down. My mom’s friend ran back and told the tour guide she needed to put the rock in the cave. When she came back, my mom tried starting the car. It started. Like a week before i went, my mom, 2 couisins, my friend, my sister, and I went to the cemetery and Old school house near the cave. Now, when we went to the cemetery, my mom was taking pictures. I was in front of the tall grave stone of the Bell family and in the picture, something strange appeared. And i was looking around while everyone was in the car, and wasps started to chase me all the way to the car. That very same thing happened to my grandma. At the Old School house, we heard laughing upstairs in the middle room where the records are. My grandfather heard the same thing when i was 5. I mean, if your looking for terrifying stuff, go to the Cemetery, Old School house, and the Cave! Ive never been to the farm though I wanna go! yea me and some friends went up there at like 830 at night, we had a local woman show us where it was, when we got the the gate was shut so she began to tell us what time they opened and what not and some old ******* came up and said he called the cops and we need to get the hell off his property, he was a total **** and i wanted to punch his face. its all lame b.s. stories if you dont like dealing with ******** who call cops for no reason i wouldnt suggest going.

Ive lived in adams my whole life and you grow up hearing the stories. I do believe she is real but the movie they made for it. Some of its true and some of it wasnt. American haunting was terrible. But we have a local historian who wrote a book about it all about three years ago.
