A few months ago I made the very terrible mistake of taking a rock from that cave. I wish I would have had a little more sense when I did that. I feel very bad for taking it and it wasn’t a very wise choice. Since I took it members of my family’s health have declined very, very badly. My 4 year old brother was diagnosed with the Swine Flu and strept throat yesterday. He’s also got a very bad previously existing asthma problem. I fear that the combination of these health issues could turn deadly. Also, my oldest brother of 12 is currently in the hospital for a possible stroke or heart attack. I am very, very scared. I do love them both very much. I found out a week ago that my boyfriend is moving out… and to another state. I am a huge animal lover and my hermit crabs have been dying left and right. I also believe that I may be pregnant which is really not very good news right now. This isn’t even the beginning of my issues. I’m definately returning the rock that I took from there very, very soon.

This is the only legend I actually believe – I have never been there, but my friend has. Nothing happened to her, but she said it scared her to death (she’s a very Christian-oriented girl that isn’t a fan of the paranormal). My friend Ray brought it up in my Biology class and was talking to everyone very loudly about it. She said that when she went there, she had the worst feeling ever. My other friend started laughing because he’s a sarcastic skeptic like myself. I honestly think this is true because.. of all the proof. And it’s just like I know it’s real. I don’t really need an explanation for it. However.. who the heck takes rocks from a cave to begin with?! That is one of the most idiotic things to bring back as a souvenier I can think of. You won’t catch me doing that ANYWHERE, haunted or not. xD

I’ve been trying to find out as much as i can about the bell witch.i’m really interested in knowing more,i live in mcnairy county there’s alot of haunted places around here too! has anyone ever heard of purdey tn,or the HURST MANSION? went there last night at 3:00 am,spooked the **** out of me..anyone has info on places like THE BELL WITCH,or other stories,even pics in TN plz email me,russellsuzie@ymail.com… TY

Well I live just outside adams and growing up I’ve always heard the legends of the bell witch..My brother who is 3 years older than me used to try and scare me with stories of the witch.. One night when I was 16 me and my brothers were drinking and decided to sneek on to the property and test the witch.. we cused the bell witch, screamed at her to do somthing real, and sayed over and over “your not real” nothing happened and just as we were leaving there came a strong gust of wind and I swear on my kids in that gust I heard the words “leave my land” i took off running my brothers must have heard it to because they took off behind me..

I am only 6 but im fasanated about the bell witch.My parents wont take me to the cave yet till im older but when i get older you can bet im going to visit it.

my husband and I have the dvd move the bell witch.These stories are so awsome to hear.We are thinking about visiting the bell witch cave.There is one thing im sure about when we go and that is we will not pick up a rock to take with us lol. And if I see a spirit of any kind im getting the hell out of there.

The website to where you can learn more is http://www.bellwitchcave.com/cave.htm . This is a very true story. And if you go please DO NOT take anything from the cave. Not even a rock or she will torment you til you take it back. That is a comfirmed story. For i would not lie. Hope you enjoy your trip to The Bell Witch Cave.

It all sounds pretty cool. I’m from Illinois and will drive down this weekend with my son. Hopefully we’ll miss the rain. We’ll see what happens
