does anyone have a personal incounter about this????

I live near this place, about 20 minutes away. I’ve never heard of the beast legend, but the shrill screams and weird lights I have seen on some occasions.

3 of my friends and have had a personal encounter of the graveyard. The strange lights and the creatures and everything. Plus ontop of that, sometimes when your walking around the road you can hear the footsteps of something walking beside you int he leaves even though you cannot visually see it.

A couple of friends and myself were out there one night. We got out of the truck to walk around and had left a door open we gat about 2 feet from the truck when we heard something sliding across the leather seats. Another night I had my eyes closed and when i opened them a bright light was flying towards my head, then there was a horrible scream from behind me.

i live in clyde an some people had told me about the cemetary so being the curious george i am we went! and it was the most amazing thing i had ever been through hearing noises and i mean as if there was another whole group there or something but no one else was there. screaming like somone was getting hurt really badly!!! and then the animals sound i heard i got scared because i thought there was a dog loose in the place but we were on foot an the sounds of hearing somone walking right beside you well its true also if you ever get brave enough check it out it is real.
a police officer saw us pulled us over and we even told him what we were doing an he said thats fine just be careful there has been alot of activity out there tonight!!! ok how freaky is that huh

I went to the cemetery when I was 16. Me and my girlfriend enjoy getting spooked, so I drove to the cemetery. I knew the location, because my parents ued to go to the cemetery as kids. They took pictures of, “The Creatures”, and every headstone in the cemetery. So we are at the cemetery, and like Sandy Davis, an officer pulled us over and said, “Look, if you’re gonna go to the cemetery, be careful, we just had an ambulance out here.”, so he drove away. Being the smart person that I am, I brought my Dad’s handgun just in case of any contact with, “The Creatures”. We got into the cemetery, walked around for about an hour, and then we saw three things: 1.) A girl hanging from a rope. 2.) A boy staring at us and vanishing into thin air. 3.) The most scariest thing, two green eyes were staring at us in the dark. We heard a growl, and some earth shaking footsteps coming towards us. I fired two shots in the direction of the eyes, and they stopped glowing. We ran to our car and drove as fast as we could. As we got to a safe distance, we noticed it was a full moon. The last thing: there was a bloody rope on my muffler.

i have a story related to this i was driveing through this town going home one night and there was this girl on the side of the road she couldnt speak and she just pointed were she wanted to go and we was driveing along and when we reached the cemtary she had disppered

This is a very accurate statement on this cemetery. I’m a lead researcher for PAR TX (Paranormal Activity Researchers of Texas). There are several of us that have been to the cemetery and vouch for the existance of the activity, we are actually hoping to make a full blown research trip out to the cemetery and beyond to pull documentation of the activities which take place at this cemetery.

I lived in the Belle Plain area for several years. Your story may be true. I heard a similar story that a rancher built a mansion that had a secret bedroom with a hidden staircase to keep cowboys from his daughter. You may not believe the rest of this story but its true. I found the town, not the old college, but the town itself which is north of the old college and the mansion which was all boarded up. My brother and I took the sheet metal off of one of the windows and went inside the houseto have a look. Sure enough, after several hours of seaching, we found a hidden staircase in the back of a closet, and a hidden bedroom upstairs. This I know to be true.

Now thats ounds like a fun night to be planned but the hole big foot thing i dont belive…and the indian stuff scrue that lol…im sry but messing with indians thats just insane…i have heard way to many staries of that not being as fun as expected

I think me and a couple buddies are planning a trip out to Belle Plains this weekend sometime. Hopefully if we don’t wimp out I’ll share my experience, good or bad. If you don’t hear from me I either didn’t go, or didn’t come back! Haha.

Well, we went to Belle Plains two weekends ago. It was a thrill, and we didnt think to take flashlights which definitely added to the suspense. We didn’t really have any encounters with anything. Saw a pair of eyes off in the graveyard. Probably a cat. The only really noticeable thing is that it definitely got a lot colder the farther towards the back of the cemetery you go. Pretty creepy though. Oh and there was a story not too long ago about an “unidentified white creature” that was found out near that area. But it was no bigfoot, more like a chupacabra. Neat huh?

I live in cottonwood about 25 minutes away from there. And i agree. The place is very creepy. But i have never seen the old mansion and was wondering where it was if you could teel me. But i have been to the old college. And that place is definitely worth checking out.

Randy, i dont know if you look here anymore but i am intrigued as to the mansion you mentioned, and i would love to go see it myself, where is it exactly?? Or if anyone else knows of this mansion let me know. As for the cemetary, whats the directions to that….i dont live far from belle plain

Hi, I live near the Belle Plains area..if you are interested in going out its a pretty long ways and a little hard to find the school. I haven’t found the Mansion but the school and mansion are all on private property so be careful when trespassing. I personally haven’t had any encounters but some of my friends say that they have? Mostly Belle plains is just a place to go take freshamn for freshman orientation, or for when you get drunk? Oh well, have fun!

I live in Sweetwater and my husband and I went out there a couple of times along with my cousin and her husband. Not too many experiences, but did have a couple. Both of which took place just outside the cemetary gate. We heard footsteps beside us and could actually feel the ground move..I know sounds ridiculous but it happened. We also took ALOT of pictures during the day and at night. One of the pictures that was taken during the day revealed 5 or 6 men (in different colored robes) standing outside the gate looking in on us and there was absolutely nobody there when the picture was taken but us! We’ll go back again..soon..before the weather turns cold.

well me and my buds have been going out there for the last 4 saturday nights and every timt we go we will se something running in the distance. not shure what it is but its freaky you should check it out!!!!!

Took pictures of the place and put them on my blog along with the cemetery in Desdemona and the Belle Plains College building. Stayed late but since I am a skeptic I did not see anything weird but it was quite and peaceful.

i was in my 20’s during the times my twin brother and our friends would go out to the cemetary(iam 36 now), and i just want to say i have to actually see something to believe in it, except god, but if you ever want a good scare go out in the cemetary at night-maybe around 3 a.m. this place puts chills all over me and as i am telling this to you i am shaky! a couple of friends and i, arm & arm, did hear leaves crackling like something walking to the side of us on the south side of the cemetary by the fence but we could not see anything and we did hear something growling, like a deep growling. i thought it might be a bull, but i REALLY do not think so!i did see a strong light along w/ the crowd i was out there with, on the north side of the cemetary. it looked like a huge lantern in a distance. the guys went out a ways to see if they could walk up on this light but they never saw it again! nor did i. belle plain has old history and alot of very old graves that are even creepy to stand over them even in daylight. i get a really uneasy feeling. i recommend if you are able to stop in check it out it would be worth it if you get in to this stuff! just hope no one will ever vandalize the sacred cemetary-and remember there are souls out there sleeping…or at least we THINK they are!!(by the way, iv’e been with people and john baidas was there,too)…

ive been there 3 times and swore after the last time i would never go back the first time i went nothing really happend, the 2nt time omg it was the weirdest thing everyone wanted to walk around so we walked all the way around and on our way back to the front we all started running because we saw something really big walking in the trees leaves crunching and everything it was really scary, when we got to the gate we all jumped in the car some of us didnt even use the doors and jumped in the windowns one of the guys didnt want to leave so we stayed everyone was sitting in a circle around the plack on the ground when all of a sudden i didnt feel to great and stood up and said yall i think we should leave right at that time i just started crying i got really cold and everyone took off running i didnt know why but i ran too, turns out right as i started crying something white came from behind me..through me and into the cemetery…ive never felt anything like it in my life i couldnt stop crying i was so scared…well the last time i went i didnt want to go, i actually cried and beged my friends not to go…but i went anyway thats when i heard the scream/crying…well we heard like a lady/girl screaming to one side of us so all the guys took off running to it and came back a a min or 2 later they said it stoped when they got to the gate, then we heard it in a different direction so again they chased it came back and samething well it happend 2 more times in the other directions the last time when they came back we could hear it all around us like in a circle i was crying by this time and kept asking to leave…eventually when everyone had enough we decided to leave right as we all got in the car another car drove up..it was the cops…he asked us what we were all doing out there and when we told him he told us the story about the girl screaming and i stared crying more cause we had never heard that story b4 then and i was just really freaked out that we heard the girl….ive never been back and i never want to go back…but my boyfriend loves doing that kind of stuff so he went back not to long ago he took my cam and my video cam…and on it hes walking around and you can see something siting on a bench and he gets scared and you can hear him taking a few deep breaths and when he gets over it he puts the cam back on the bench and its gone…really freaky….and in the pix you can see lights that arnt out there…i mean its a ghost town …i hate that place

I just read some of the previous stories and noticed the PASSER BY story was like what I stated.
So, John, have you guys been out to investigate lately or what? You should definatley get some footage since you’ve observed some scary stuff.
