About 5 years ago or so, me and my husband had some friends who lived in Rockford and they were ghost chasers, and they convinced us that we should check this place out called Cherry Valley and this road called Bloods Point rd, (which is now called B.P Rd)i didnt want to go because just the thought of it freaked me out. So we went, 2 cars, me, my husband, his best friend, and my best friend, and our friends in Rockford, and then their roomates. We were on Poole rd where we saw on our left side a cement wall about 6 or 7 feet high, and on our right side was a dirt patch where you could pull over. There was some rubble that they say was an old saanic church, but i dont really know that for sure. Next to the rubble was a white penticle star made of white rocks. We also crossed the feild and tried to walk into the woods, and once we stepped into the woods all of our flashligts stopped working, and it became silent (keep in mind this was summer, and we were by woods so we heard all the night noises of bugs and crickets and such), so we freaked out, and went back to the cars, also tried to take pictures of the rubble, with a flash, and it just came out black….also we went up the road to the bridge, however i dont know what other people are talking about because its a small bridge that only one car can go through at a time, and you go under the bridge, not over it. We tried taking pictures of the bridge with our camera, and the headlights from the car, but nothing came out except the reflectors on the side of the bridge. NOW here is the really creepy part…..we were driving, and un-known car (not truck) started to follow us, turning their lights on and off at us. We tried turning into other streets but this car would not stop, it was a 2 door or 4 door, and it looked like at least4 people were in the car….we once turned, parked, got out of our cars, and the un-known car just sat there before a stop sign. This continued for about 20 minutes or so, and then we left, came out on Belvidere Rd, and the car turned around and left.

Now this part may be just coinsidence, or part of this creepy place. We lived in Crystal Lake, and we were going home about 2 or 3 in the morning, and we were driving on RT 20, which is only a 2 lane rd. Our friends were in the back doozing off, and my husband was trying to help me stay awake, and I saw a car coming towards me, who started to turn his lights on and off at me, while coming towards me, I told my husband, and our friends woke up, and the car lights went off, and then back on right in front of me, I swirved, and the car went in cirles ending up across both lanes, and while the dust settled and we collected ourselves, one of our friends told me to DRIVE NOW, because he noticed the person who tried running us off the road, had stopped and turned around. Needless to say i pealed out of there and sped home as fast as i could. To this day I will neer return to that place because it gave off such an erie feeling. Another weird part is while we were driving on Poole Rd, and we noticed that we were passing the same streets over and over, and we did find a small cemetary, and that must have been the most peacefull place there, because once we stepped into the cemetary we all just felt calm.

Hey every1 I am into the paranormal stuff, I have started my own team called R.I.P.S. (rockford investigators of paranormal situations). We MIGHT go out there, ANGRY BLACK TRUCK has been my contact on AIM. Telling me things, which I wont say until I get his permission. I DID find some info though, like that theres cults and the home/abandoned house was a slaughterhouse, ANGRY BLACK TRUCK said he saw a sacrificed like lamb or dog by the shed. Also I think he said something about a chainsaw. Also that theres an alter in the woods and cults skin an animal like every thursday. All the cult stuff I did NOT get from ANGRY BLACK TRUCK except the animal he saw, and he’s got some pretty good pics. hey.. uhm i live about 20 minutes from bloods point and i havent been there but alot of my friends have been there and they say its nothing bad and that the people that live around that area chase people and try to scare them . but thats only what i have heard..

i went out to bloods point last night with me and 2 other buddies. we saw a car that vanished, we did get pushed off the bridge at cherry valley. i also hit 2 racoons by accident, i turned around just because, and they were gone no blood no nothing and im sure at least one went under the tire. there are tracks on pear rd just befor you reach cherry valley i sat on those tracks did not move, but my car did shut off completly my key was in full off position. freaky….

I Went to Bl pt Last night around 12am with my BF. we stopped at the cemetary off pear & bloodspoint. I noticed a BIG temp drop, so did nick.
we did her a few whistles, but we left because nick had seen a shadow of some sort moving across the gravestones. We left in a hurry. We were pulling off Bloodspoint and before we reached pear st again we almost hit 2 black cats.. i guess that means 2 days of bad luck…:(

I have a few personal experiences at bloods point and the “turn around” on pool rd. I have a picture of a figure that I guess I can describe of what death looks like, with the robe and hood, and another picture from the turn around of something floating. I also have an E.V.P of someone saying “husband” as my friends husband walked up to us while we were recording. At the turn around, I have heard eerie moaning that seemed to be right above me, I have friends who have also had experiences there. I have not been to the bloods point cemetery that often, but I have spent a lot of time at the turn around and I know for a fact that that area is haunted by more than one spirit. As for being chased by a vehicle, I have been chased by a car once and I have never seen a truck, but I think it is just other young adults having fun. This area is right in my mothers back yard, so once I was able to drive, I have been all over that area and I have seen and heard a lot of spooky and unexplainable things, sometimes just sitting on the side of the road driving by it! I have been doing this for about 20 years, though not as much as I used to. I have not been on the bridge where the kids supposedly push you, and I have heard that when you drive under the bridge that is past the turn around, if you look back you can see bodies hanging, I have not see them. That area is supposedly where the KKK did there hangings. I have heard about cults doing things on Halloween in the cemetery, so I have not gone out there at that time because I don’t want to know! I drove out there last night with a few friends, the the thing where you get pushed across the bridge in neutral is true it really happens, and the ghost car is real too. There was a car coming at us with no place to turn off the road and the headlights just disappeared out of nowhere. Then we heard foot steps in the graveyard and saw shadows moving from grave stone to grave stone. After that we went to the train tracks where you can walk under them. We wanted to see if we had the balls to go down under there and smoke a cigarette, as soon as we stepped out of the car we hear a deep grunt from under the bridge then the wind picked up and the bushes blew towards us like something was coming at us, so we got back into the car and tried booking it only for the car to be stopped and start idling really loud on top of the railroad tracks, and we got stuck there for about 10 minutes. I would rather die and go to hell then ever go back to that god forsaken place.

Well Everything Jason said is true i was the one who first got out of the car by the tracks and my buddy Zach got out behind me… i took a step towards the bridge and and a loud deep growl/scream from hell came out from under the bridge and the bushes blew towards us like a heard of ghosts came dashing at us, i screamed and grabbed Zach and shoved him back in the car and we tried to take off but the car was just sitting in park and the idle was really fucked up it was revving and Andrei’s foot was not on the pedal.. everyone in the car heard the growl and we were as white as Casper. so we took off down the road and went back to BL PT. and as we drove past the cemetery everyone in the car got the chills down there spine and shivered so we got to the bridge on Bloods point so we pulled up on the bridge and we put the car in neutral and we sat there for about 30-45 seconds then very slowly the car started to move so we all just sat there and let it roll then finally we just got too scared and took off. so we went down the road turned around and stopped in front of the cemetery. and Me, Zach and Jason walked in. we were looking for Thomas Carlson’s headstone, i read if that you sit on top of it you get mysteriously pushed off, Zach wanted to sit on it, so we got about halfway through the yard and Zach stopped and was like “SHH don’t move do you guys hear that” me and Jason looked around wide eye and we heard footsteps behind us, sure enough Jason Turns around and there was a black figure moving headstone to headstone, so we took off got in the car and boogied out of there.. Oh yeah we also saw the disappearing car it looked like it turned onto the street and was coming towards us, and sure enough the headlights disappear, there was no where to go, no road to turn onto or anything it just vanished. also one our way up there we hit a black cat on IL-23, so we figured it would be a spooky night anyways… one more thing, this personally is my second time out to Bloods Point, so i knew the area pretty good and was familiar with the haunting’s, the first time i went out there was even worse. except for the scream from the bridge. this was the second time i had seen the black shadow figure, the vanishing car, being pushed over the bridge, and seeing the car start revving by itself in neutral. The last time we were by the bridge where we heard the scream the car turned off, the key turned by itself to the off position. also both times I’ve been out there we’ve hit animals, the first time two raccoons at once, and we went to see if the remains there was nothing there, we went up general area where we hit them and sure enough on the third pass the blood spots and body appeared on the road right in front of us… weird… By The way everything i type is the god honest truth, Bloods point is Haunted.

ive been to this location 3 times and ive never seen anything of any sort, nor have i been pushed to safety. im not sayin its not true but its not true for me.

I lived in the next town over nearly my whole life..and we have tested this many of times with no results. It is not true…I can say though as a teenager we were all driving on this road and myself and 2 other people were in the back seat and we could hear children laughing…and the 2 people in the front seats could not. This was the only experience Ive ever had on bloods point rd

Yo, I’ve been up there and wow is it freaky. Just being on the road will freak you out. Me and a couple of friends drove up there not really expecting anything extreme to happen so we turn off the car and get out right in front of the cemetary. We were trying to act like badasses,(lol) and ended up shating our pants. My bro says that he swore something touched him on the shoulder and said, “help”. He turned around and thought that it was me. Im not gonna lie, when i heard my bro say this…I was like yea right. We had a camera with us and there was actually a part in the video were there was a very dark figure behind a stone. We didnt think much of it so we kept moving. Later on, we also caught on tape, a little kid was screaming…Believe this if you want, this is the truth. Like i said, me and my friends were NOT…expecting to see anything but we did. The next thing im about to say is probably gonna get you shaking your head like im just bullshatting you but im gonna say it anyway. Okay…We were on the road heading back home when were noticed a car,(black SUV looking car), it was going about the same speed we were going but we noticed the lights were off. We flashed the guy so that he would put his lights on and…swear on my moms grave…there was no1 in the freaking car. Me and my bro just look at each other and ask did u just see what i saw…being a smart *** he said i didnt see anyone…i said no ****.(lol) turn around…..no1 behind us…no car no nothing. It really bothers me even taling about it but yes. It is true. You probably saying bull shat, let me see some vid…no we didnt have to camera on because were no stupid and we dont vid everthing. Now that this has happened…Anything can happen on that road. I would highly recommend bringing some kind of recording device and dont do what i did…record everything!!!

This place is tewwifying, I went up thewe with some of my fwiends on Halloween night and we saw some hooded people standing in a cown field once we cwossed ovew the bwidge. We got the heck out of thewe aftew that.

yo i went to the cemetery last friday. an i was in there for like 5 minutes an the cops showed up.. they said we were trespassing. it was bulshit..
