hey.. uhm i live about 20 minutes from bloods point and i havent been there but alot of my friends have been there and they say its nothing bad and that the people that live around that area chase people and try to scare them . but thats only what i have heard..

i went out to bloods point last night with me and 2 other buddies. we saw a car that vanished, we did get pushed off the bridge at cherry valley. i also hit 2 racoons by accident, i turned around just because, and they were gone no blood no nothing and im sure at least one went under the tire. there are tracks on pear rd just befor you reach cherry valley i sat on those tracks did not move, but my car did shut off completly my key was in full off position. freaky….

I Went to Bl pt Last night around 12am with my BF. we stopped at the cemetary off pear & bloodspoint. I noticed a BIG temp drop, so did nick.
we did her a few whistles, but we left because nick had seen a shadow of some sort moving across the gravestones. We left in a hurry. We were pulling off Bloodspoint and before we reached pear st again we almost hit 2 black cats.. i guess that means 2 days of bad luck…:(

I have a few personal experiences at bloods point and the “turn around” on pool rd. I have a picture of a figure that I guess I can describe of what death looks like, with the robe and hood, and another picture from the turn around of something floating. I also have an E.V.P of someone saying “husband” as my friends husband walked up to us while we were recording. At the turn around, I have heard eerie moaning that seemed to be right above me, I have friends who have also had experiences there. I have not been to the bloods point cemetery that often, but I have spent a lot of time at the turn around and I know for a fact that that area is haunted by more than one spirit. As for being chased by a vehicle, I have been chased by a car once and I have never seen a truck, but I think it is just other young adults having fun. This area is right in my mothers back yard, so once I was able to drive, I have been all over that area and I have seen and heard a lot of spooky and unexplainable things, sometimes just sitting on the side of the road driving by it! I have been doing this for about 20 years, though not as much as I used to. I have not been on the bridge where the kids supposedly push you, and I have heard that when you drive under the bridge that is past the turn around, if you look back you can see bodies hanging, I have not see them. That area is supposedly where the KKK did there hangings. I have heard about cults doing things on Halloween in the cemetery, so I have not gone out there at that time because I don’t want to know! I drove out there last night with a few friends, the the thing where you get pushed across the bridge in neutral is true it really happens, and the ghost car is real too. There was a car coming at us with no place to turn off the road and the headlights just disappeared out of nowhere. Then we heard foot steps in the graveyard and saw shadows moving from grave stone to grave stone. After that we went to the train tracks where you can walk under them. We wanted to see if we had the balls to go down under there and smoke a cigarette, as soon as we stepped out of the car we hear a deep grunt from under the bridge then the wind picked up and the bushes blew towards us like something was coming at us, so we got back into the car and tried booking it only for the car to be stopped and start idling really loud on top of the railroad tracks, and we got stuck there for about 10 minutes. I would rather die and go to hell then ever go back to that god forsaken place.

Well Everything Jason said is true i was the one who first got out of the car by the tracks and my buddy Zach got out behind me… i took a step towards the bridge and and a loud deep growl/scream from hell came out from under the bridge and the bushes blew towards us like a heard of ghosts came dashing at us, i screamed and grabbed Zach and shoved him back in the car and we tried to take off but the car was just sitting in park and the idle was really fucked up it was revving and Andrei’s foot was not on the pedal.. everyone in the car heard the growl and we were as white as Casper. so we took off down the road and went back to BL PT. and as we drove past the cemetery everyone in the car got the chills down there spine and shivered so we got to the bridge on Bloods point so we pulled up on the bridge and we put the car in neutral and we sat there for about 30-45 seconds then very slowly the car started to move so we all just sat there and let it roll then finally we just got too scared and took off. so we went down the road turned around and stopped in front of the cemetery. and Me, Zach and Jason walked in. we were looking for Thomas Carlson’s headstone, i read if that you sit on top of it you get mysteriously pushed off, Zach wanted to sit on it, so we got about halfway through the yard and Zach stopped and was like “SHH don’t move do you guys hear that” me and Jason looked around wide eye and we heard footsteps behind us, sure enough Jason Turns around and there was a black figure moving headstone to headstone, so we took off got in the car and boogied out of there.. Oh yeah we also saw the disappearing car it looked like it turned onto the street and was coming towards us, and sure enough the headlights disappear, there was no where to go, no road to turn onto or anything it just vanished. also one our way up there we hit a black cat on IL-23, so we figured it would be a spooky night anyways… one more thing, this personally is my second time out to Bloods Point, so i knew the area pretty good and was familiar with the haunting’s, the first time i went out there was even worse. except for the scream from the bridge. this was the second time i had seen the black shadow figure, the vanishing car, being pushed over the bridge, and seeing the car start revving by itself in neutral. The last time we were by the bridge where we heard the scream the car turned off, the key turned by itself to the off position. also both times I’ve been out there we’ve hit animals, the first time two raccoons at once, and we went to see if the remains there was nothing there, we went up general area where we hit them and sure enough on the third pass the blood spots and body appeared on the road right in front of us… weird… By The way everything i type is the god honest truth, Bloods point is Haunted.

ive been to this location 3 times and ive never seen anything of any sort, nor have i been pushed to safety. im not sayin its not true but its not true for me.

I lived in the next town over nearly my whole life..and we have tested this many of times with no results. It is not true…I can say though as a teenager we were all driving on this road and myself and 2 other people were in the back seat and we could hear children laughing…and the 2 people in the front seats could not. This was the only experience Ive ever had on bloods point rd

This place is tewwifying, I went up thewe with some of my fwiends on Halloween night and we saw some hooded people standing in a cown field once we cwossed ovew the bwidge. We got the heck out of thewe aftew that.

There were kids that died in a bus accident in Belleville on a flat road with train tracks. I have not been there since highschool, but I was there on two occasions. One was in highschool we took the bus to Belleville for who knows what reason, could have been a basketball game or something; I don’t remember it really, and the bus stalled here and took a while to start again, that was on our way home. The bus was moving after a bit, slowly, and with so many people in the bus I remember people getting freaked out by the fingerprints on the back windows that were illuminated by the steam and heat inside (when the outside was colder).

Going back my senior year with my brother, and a friend, we made sure to wash my car thoroughly by hand, then took it through a car wash. Bringing a carpenters level, some flashlights, flour, talc powder, and reflective tape we went out to the road before night and parked a ways up the road. Walking down to the area, we stood on each side of the road, used the tape by tossing it to the other person to tape off where we would STOP to see if we would be pushed in the car. We used the carpenters measure to see if the ground and road was even (it was pretty well even), and also used it every 5′ till we got to the back of my car (it didn’t change all that much, meaning the ground this happened on is pretty flat; considering how wisconsin is full of hills; I would not think it would be enough to get my car going). Then my brother spread the flour on the road with an old pillow sack. Taking pictures before we started, throwing talc powder all over my car and using the whipers to get it off my windshield, and of the road to compare with when we got done we were ready to try this.

So. I started the car, let it get up to about 30 miles an hour, enough to COAST to the tape mark (with my brother and friend in side), that way I could literally STOP at the tape mark that was illuminated a bit through the flour thrown down and put it in neutral. We chit-chatted for a while, not really talking about anything particular, and not moving either. Sure enough the car started to move; albeit kinda roughish. Not smoothe, like effortlessly pushed, but like trying to get a start before getting smoothe.

When we finally went over the intersection area and slowed down, it was a good.. oh… 20ish yards if I remember, before we stopped, and stopped talking. The first thing we did was look around inside the car at the windows, there were some smudges on the back rear, and back side windows. Getting out, it was pretty dark by then so we had to use flashlights, I tossed the tape over the road to my brother, and taped the front of the car off. My friend started snapping images with two disposable cameras from the first tape area with flower, to the front of the car, the car itself, and a really nice image of the moon. My brother measured the offset of the road, which went UP a bit, but again not by much. We didn’t bother inspecting the road much, besides to notice our tracks in the flour and taking the tape off the road. The car, however, had a number of half-hand, finger, and full-hand prints along the back, near the tail lights, bumper, and rear panels, then smudges on the windows. I believe we just ended up wasting the rest of the film on the other camera taking images of it the best we could. At the time I was driving an older dodge charger, the two door version that was more or less your ‘sports style’ version of an Omni (hahahaha man I loved that car).

I don’t have the images of that night I don’t think, unless they are in a box somewhere. I can check when we move. I do remember, however, ‘shuffling’ scrapes along our tire tracks that remind me of ‘dust devil’ patterns you see in sand or driveways when you get those really windy days up here in the hills of WI.

So that I know at least IS true. Matilda, that story I heard about Illinois, as well as the Goat Man’s House, in Lena.

I tell you, though, washing the talc off in the morning was darn annoying. We ended up pressure washing the car at our house to get it off cause it stuck annoyingly; spent the rest of the day making some cookies, dropping the film off in Monroe to get developed, and grabbing taco bell.

I should go again and do this; gotta remember exactly where the road is. I don’t even think there is a train track there any more, just the intersection and a flashing roadlight or something. It’s been years.

I won’t say that this haunting in Illinois is fake, or real. I haven’t personally been there. I am sure similar things happen all over the world, not everything these days are ‘unique’ just to one location; unless it is something spectacular or truely horrible to a specific place.

we went during the day as it turned to night and at first there was really nothing just a sense of despair and dread. but as night fell we began to see shadows move inside the shed at the back. we went into the shed and poked around for a moment or two, took a couple of pictures and all of a sudden we heard children screaming. we decided maybe we should leave when all of a sudden the various articles littering the floor began to crash wildly as if someone had kicked them but it continued even as we were running out the door. also one of the pictures that we took in the shed clearly shows a human skull larger than life almost as if an apparition. needless to say we got in our car and left rather quickly. as we went back down bloods point road towards river road we stopped in front of the strange abandoned house for a moment. we had the radio off but all of a sudden it came on and at the same moment my nephews phone died, another oddity of the cemetery is that as we were walking through it, far to our right we could hear footsteps moving through the grass as if someone were walking with us. now i know you will believe what you will but for us three, it was a very real experience. we will return tomorrow.

MY AUNT,UNCLE AND I WENT TO THE CEMETARY TODAY. AT FIRST EVERYTHING SEEMED NORMAL UNTIL WE BEGAN TO HEAR FOOTSTEPS. AS WE MOVED TO THE BACK OF THE CEMETERY WE BEGAN TO HEAR FOOTSTEPS NEAR THE SHED AND WE ALSO SAW SHADOWS. INSIDE OF THE SHED. AS WE WERE LOOKING AROUND IN THE SHED MY UNCLE FOUND A BIG PIECE OF METAL THAT HAD WHAT LOOKED LIKE A BUNCH OF KNIVES ATTACHED TO IT. ALSO ON THE SIDE OF THE SHED I FOUND A PICTURE OF PRAYING HANDS THAT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE. WE ALSO TOOK PICTURES OF HEADSTONES AND OTHER THINGS AND IN ONE THE PICS IT LOOKS AS IF THERE IS BLOOD ON THE HEADSTONE AND THERE IS A RED ORB FLOATING IN THE AIR SEVERAL FEET BEHIND IT . AND IN ANOTHER PIC IT LOOKS LIKE THERE SOMEONE LOOKING IN THE WINDOW BEHIND THE SHED WATCHING US FROM THE OUTSIDE. THIS STORY MAY BE HARD TO BELIEVE BUT IT IS TRUE AND WE PLAN ON GOING BACK TOMORROW.

This story is not true most of the people that i know say that it does not work so i went out there by myself and learned that it was not true and i ran into some guys that told me the real story. what really happened was a farmer who owned the farm up the road had two slaves and a daughter and the slaves raped his daughter so the farmer hung them both and now they haunt the bridge and if you go there and yell at the slaves in a mad voice they will try and harm you so i reccomend if you do this bring friends do not do it alone.

i was at bloods point a little while back with my mom my girlfriend at the time her mom and her aunt i never saw a black truck that everyone talks about but i was on the bridge in my truck behind them there car was pushed and it was kind of creepy becaus when we were on the bridge a train came by but not piss your pants scaryso we went to the cemetary we were in there taking some pictures then we wanted some pictures of the shed and as we got up to it the camera shut off and it had done that a couple times before when we had tried to take pictures in the cemetary once i got the camera back on someone yeld headlights i ran out i had a feeling it was the cops and i was rite the camera was on the whole time in my truck and never once shut off the whole time we were talking to the cop we were told to leave the area and if he caught us out there again that night that we all would go to jail i will be making another trip
