Real Haunted House

Bloods Point Road

Cherry Valley, Illinois

If one travels on this road toward the cemetery, he will notice a bridge just above the train tracks. Once, a school bus filled with children flew off the bridge, killing all the passengers. Today, if a car is put in neutral on this spot, it will be mysteriously pushed across the bridge. There is also a traffic light in the area that seems to change locations. In the cemetery many have seen a ghost and heard whistling.

ok, i went to bloods point about a month ago with some friends about 3-3:30am and it was totally bogus, we saw the cemetery, we saw and went inside the shed where kids supposedly committed suicide and it was bogus, there were like 2 or 3 cars that passed by but it wasnt anything special so idk why people are so worked up about it and yes we did go on the railroad tracks and nothing happened, but we never found or saw a bridge with the alleged nooses. but anyways, i do live within 20minutes of it and i could go back anytime i want but i have no desire to return there, its just a waste of gas and theres nothing but corn and abandoned barns so if you do go, i think the most fun is messing around in the old barns =)

sooo… my grandparents used to live about two miles away(now they live even closer lol) from bloodspoint. when my dad was in high school he decided to sneak out and go spend the night there as a dare. he tried; around midnight the only lamp post in the middle back of the cemetary started flickering and all of a sudden went out. when it was pitch black he started hearing unnatural noises. pretty cool right? haha!

I live on bloods point. It’s all true. I’ve been to the cemetery. I heard growling in the shed. I walked the tracks under Sweeney Bridge and I saw a couple ghost walking ahead of me and the ghost of someone that was hung.

this has nothing to do with bloods point but its really scary. across the street from my grandpas house theres this run down fallen in 1800s house and a family of 4 lived there. the dad was at war and the mom got sick and died the daughter and son were left to fend. there dad wasnt home from war yet. then the daughter got sick and died. the dad came home from war to find his son 1/2 starved and his wife and daughter dead. he buried them across the street. 100 years later (about) my grandparents built there house across the street. i, my brother, 3 cousins, and a 5 year old family friend has had the same imaginary friend none at the same time. the imaginary friend was the dead daughter from across the street. isnt that scary! its ALL true. i swear.

My fren Ricky was all like “NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!” and we bugged out of that joint in like 4 seconds! Oh yeah… our car would not start for anything… so we had to hoof it back to the Cherry Valley Subway Sandwitch place and it took FOREVER and Ricky almost got fired for it to. He think that Knight is still afta him to. Ricky wont take night time shifts at the Subway anymore becuz he thinks that Knight isa comin to order a sanwitch or sumthin. Ricky is dumb like that.

Okay…me and my friends have been coming here for the past few days. We have not experienced much yet, but then again we have been there before 11 p.m. If you go, I suggest that you go after midnight. It is said that more hauntings occur after midnight. 3 a.m. is the supernatural hour. One experience is when a friend and I took a picture with a weird smokey white like wind them above us. Nobody was smoking behind us and neither of us were smoking. We don’t know what this is but if you would like to see this picture you can reach me at thatalexiskid@aim.com. We plan to go there sometime this week & next week sometime, after midnight. We like to ghost hunt. Another experience is a few of us could have sworn that we saw the traffic train light on the left side. Earlier it was on the right. I will make a further post about more experiences. Until then, you can reach me at thatalexiskid@aim.com. We have a few pictures of orbs. And that one picture I was talking about.

when you get onto bloods point road and your heading away from the cemetery keep going until you get to cherry valley then hang a right, stay on cherry valley until you reach poole rd, then take a left onto poole. stay on poole and its gonna be on your right side kinda far down the road. you know you’ve gone to far if you reach an over head bridge. their will be a large rock wall on the right with room to park so your not in the road

my cousin, her friend, my boyfriend and i all went to cherry valley last night. we tried out the bridge but nothing happend. we stayed there for about 10 minutes and took pictures and nothing happened with the cameras. however, we were lost driving around because there isn’t very many street signs in that area and before we could see sweeney bridge i got this sick feeling and my body went cold. and then i saw the bridge and i was terrified… we didn’t even know what it was at first but then we figured it out… so we started taking pictures and the cameras stopped working… then we went to the graveyard and took pictures and there was many orbs in the picture even though when we took pictures of other things we didn’t get any orbs.

I was at the bridge back in 1984. It had wooden rails back then and my friend sat on one of the rails. It broke and he almost fell on to the tracks. About a year later after a few beers my friends and I decided to drive out to the cemetary and dared each other to go back to the cement shed. I was about 18 yrs old. It was about 1AM. While we were back there a car parked behind mine. We thought we were busted by the local sheriff but as we got closer we saw what looked like a white hearst from the 1940’s. Somebody inside it was smoking a cigerette It just sat there for about 30 sec and then left. We got out of there asap! I still live about 5 miles away. I am now 42 yrs old and still to afraid to go in that place again!!

I live in Rockford which is 5min away from Cherry Valley and I’ve been to bloods point about 10 times and it pretty scary, but do not go to the cemetery because there is a cop waiting. Some people say that cop is a ghost which i kinda believe because me and my friends got pulled over once by him and he seemed very weird and did not arrest us or give us a ticket even though it was past curfew for people 18 and younger. All he told us is to not go back there.

Lmfao, I’ve heard so many stories about this place.
I’ve heard that a bus with children with special needs got in a car accident on the bridge and they all died. Now if you put your car in neutral on that bridge, the kids will puch you off. also, if you look in the creek you will see a head of one of the dead bodies.
I’m going there around halloween to see if its true.

I went out there and was cruising over the bridge with the train tracks underneath. Just taking a leisure ride in my sports car. Heard about the kids on the bus getting hit by a train, but didn’t think much about it. So then I near the bridge, and there is this kid sitting on the cement pillar there right by the start of the bridge, swinging his feet back and forth. He didn’t scare me or anything, just gazed at me as I drove by. This is a rural area, there are not many houses in the area, so I doubt it was some kid just playing. Anyway, I get about 3/4 mile down and decide to turn back to see it again. When I go back, the kid was gone, no trace of him, just corn fields. It spooked me a little.

I’ve been to BPR over 100 times, Its not as scary as many other places in the Boone County area but I do have to say that I personally have only witnessed Orbs on cameras, One time at the parking lot off sweeny road i got a picture of a Red orb. Suposively the church pass the city of irene on Flora Church road use to be a satanic church… I have gotten pictures of orbs at that church along with one from both sides sitting right on top of the church in the same location. I plan to head out there 2-3 more times this month. Possibly even stay the night out there.

My friend and I, well into our 20’s at the time, were chased by a black car from the 1950’s era. We did not know where we were going and the vehicle chased us all the way to a cornfield and then poof! was gone.
