Real Haunted Houses

Real Haunted House

Bloods Point Road

Cherry Valley, Illinois

If one travels on this road toward the cemetery, he will notice a bridge just above the train tracks. Once, a school bus filled with children flew off the bridge, killing all the passengers. Today, if a car is put in neutral on this spot, it will be mysteriously pushed across the bridge. There is also a traffic light in the area that seems to change locations. In the cemetery many have seen a ghost and heard whistling.

I think the grammar and spelling in these posts are far scarier than the ridiculous stories being posted. I’m not saying there aren’t haunted places… it’s just that this isn’t one of them!!

I started going to Bloods Point back in 94. it was a almost every other week deal with a few friends untill i moved away in 98.
I have to say i never got chased by the phantom car, but we did see alot of things that just would make your hair stand on end. We did our looking back on old news papers in 95 and we found out alot of strange things that didnt seem normal. Im sorry for the people that clame things have happened but they havent. I know what ive seen and i know what i read. That place is haunted!!!!!

Hi Stephanie, I don’t know if it’s true. But I hear the owner of the “The ax
murder house” in Villisca, IA. just south of Hwy.34 will allow anyone for a
fee to spend the night there. I know stories are stories, and rumors are rumors, but I hear none has been able to stay past 1 a.m. without fleeing the house. In 2 weeks I am planning to visit Earling, Iowa. It is well documented that in 1912, a case of exorcism took place on Emma Schmidt that lasted for months. I will be happy to share any information on this
forum. P.S. Are there any one familiar with the apartment building on Evans
ave. in Loves Park,IL in or around 1994 and 1995? The owner of the buildings last name was Khan. One of his Apt. was the only event that I knew for a fact had vary SERIOUS POLTERGEIST ACTIVITY INVOLVED!

The Ax murder house in Villisca, IA. was featured on the show TAPS
OH! By the Mr.School Master! Sorry about miss spellling the word very in my
last comment! The Devil must have made me do it. are we still in school or something? this is ridiculous. you have to belittle other people’s spelling. nobody gives a flying f*ck, if we mispell. we are just having a nice little conversation. ooops!! did i mispell that cuss word? im sorry FATHER. Why don’t you just go on with your business and forget if we mispell something. what is horrifying in this forum, is when people are more WORRIED about how other people’s grammer is. GEEZ!!!

dont worry about the spelling lol people that have to tell you that you spelled something wrong have boreing lives!!!! I havent heard of that place but it sounds interesting. I do know of a house in missouri i have to find out what town but its the same thing in a way. The house is haunted and from roumors it is unoccupied beacuse of what ever is there i hope to go there this summer. (crossing fingers) it is said that if you can stay there x amount of time you get the deed to the property, so it is said… Alton Illinois ive been there one time in 2002 that history is interesting. Cival war prison that was dimolished then they used the stones from it to build parts of the town. And you can ;point out those parts. you get a strange feeling for sure when your there.
im also looking into a lady that they call BROADWAY BETTY here in Yankton SD she killed her kids then herself. the house is gone but the barn is still there the kids where killed in the barn. where betty ended her life im not sure. i went there this last summer and i could hear something but couldnt make it out i wish i knew more about the land…reserch time again lol

Hi Stephanie, In one of my comments, I mentioned an apartment building on
Evans ave.in Loves Park,IL that was Seriously infested with Poltergeist was
very real accept, I got the Street name wrong. I apologize for the error!
The correct name of the street is Bennett St. 5410 might be the St.number.
I wish I could give the apartment number, but, that was a while back. My son
who is now 30 years old was 14 or 15 when he was learning Kempo Karate from
his friend’s Father who lived at this apartment. Even today my son is consistent on every event he witness in the Apt.The Korean man who owned the building (I think his name was Khan) said he believes, because the last tenant commited suicide after playing with a Quija board. Thanks

To the person who posted the comment under “Your School Master says;” on oct. 14th, complaining about spelling, you spelled grammar wrong, its not spelled grammer. If you are going to complain to everyone about spelling and Grammar, at least spell it right yourself!

WOW!!!! go get a life. its amazing that people are so bored with there life. You must be some fat uglie slob that has no life let alone a girlfriend that you spend your day on spell check pointing out misspelled words. Why do people think they have to point out other peoples faults but then have there own…

Scott says:

January 28, 2010, 2:38 am

I’m not sure who is more bored or pathetic…people complaining about the spellcheckers.. or the people who spend time “making up” their so-called ghost stories based on historical events which never occured

Larry l Philllips says:

January 28, 2010, 3:38 am

WOW!!!! Scott, sounds like you have “MENTAL ISSUES” like Mr. spellchecker in
terms of anger management. “Bored or Pathetic” People??? What do you think your comment implied! If these comments are “made up” stories as you indicated, why are you on this web site? I suggest you and the other ***$*^# GO to W.W.W. OXYMORON ARE US.COM

WOW!!! Larry sounds like you have the same “MENTAL ISSUES” in terms of anger management. You also can’t seem to differentiate between fantasy and reality… and you passed that onto your son. Perhaps some concrete evidence rather than your anecdotal stories would carry more weight with the readers. BTW I have some wonderful stories, where I captured Bigfoot feeding the Lochness Monster on film… but while driving home on Bloods Point Rd the film was destroyed by aliens. Its a true story… really…

“Please use correct grammar, capitalization, and punctuation. Let’s try to keep this place looking classy.” It’s the first sentence in the disclaimer when leaving a comment. Perhaps it is YOU that is in the wrong…. and maybe.. just maybe..it’s not for you to decide what is appropriate for the site?

Dani says:

January 30, 2010, 3:47 pm

Wow. Why are all of you (Stephanie, Scott, Larry, and Jim) getting so upset? If the stories are true or not, why is it your business? If you don’t believe this ****, why are you on this site?

Stephanie says:

January 30, 2010, 8:34 pm

Im just sad that people have to mad about spelling. I had my experiances at bloods point where real to me. I dont down someone and complain about there spelling i could care less but Scott and Jim are the ones that should just stay away from this site there just here to nag. I love reading about other peoples experiances and wish there was more posted.
I expressed my I dont care to the 2 that are here to belittle others.

Dani says:

Stephanie,
Sorry if you thought I was talking about you in the rest. All I was really directing at you was the first question. Sorry if you were confused. I also believe in the stories. I’ve had some of the same experiences at bloods point, being that I live in Rockford. If they don’t believe the stories they shouldn’t be on this site. That just proves what you said. They have no lives. They have to start stuff with people they don’t know on the internet. Sorry again Stephanie.
;D
