Bloods Point Road
If one travels on this road toward the cemetery, he will notice a bridge just above the train tracks. Once, a school bus filled with children flew off the bridge, killing all the passengers. Today, if a car is put in neutral on this spot, it will be mysteriously pushed across the bridge. There is also a traffic light in the area that seems to change locations. In the cemetery many have seen a ghost and heard whistling.

I did visit there few days back. I personally didn’t feel any abnormal presence. But its hard to belief what people say there. However I do belief in paranormal events so I would suggest every one not to take it likely.

I was just out there last night & all tht we experianced was almost hitting a dear! I took plenty of pictures & nothing showed up, the bridge thing doesnt work, tried it. The cemeteries are bull, all it is, is graves from the mid-late 1800′s. Bloods Point is scary in the stories, but if you actually go, nothing happens, its just your imagination messing with you. You believe what people tell you, my opinion.
If you really want to get scared, go to St.Augustine, Floida. I used to live there a few yrs ago, & the old fort (the first town ever found in the united states) is quite the scare! Go around witch hrs (2-4am). The Lighthouse, the ols fort, the dock, the bed & breakfests, ect in tht area of St.Augustine is one of the scariest places in the world. If you do your research right, you’d know tht place is freaky! Rockford hauntings are nothing compared to St.Augustine!
Just to let you know,
Bloods Point is just a big lame story tht people make up to scare others!

me and some friends went a few nights ago, one of them is a registered investigator, we walked the bridge and all that happened was a wierd cackling scream. while driving past the second bridge a huge flash of light came from it and we got chased by a black car but not a truck and it dissapeared

My friends and I went out there a couple years ago, there is no bridge on Bloods Point Rd. but the one we ended up on over tracks we tried to see if the stories were true but they weren’t, just had a black mustang trying to scare us off. Not sure if other rumors are true or not, but all you’re gonna get out of your trip out there is flashing red and blue lights in your rear-view mirror and a pig coming to your window telling you to get out of there. Yeah the pigs ruin everything, let us have our fun.

Me, my husband, my sister and her boyfriend all went out to Bloods Point Road last night and went to the cemetery. We were there for about an half an hour and nothing happened. It was really interesting reading the the tombstones. Some of the tombstones told when the individual was born but didn’t say what year the individual died which was kind of strange. We didn’t see the church. We heard that the church was torn down. But then again it was really dark and we really couldn’t see that well. I wanna go back during the day time to see if we can spot the church. My sister’s boyfriend couldn’t remember exactly where the church was. After we left the cemetery we went across the bridge where the railroad tracks are. We didn’t stop the car to get out. I kinda didn’t wanna get out of the car for fear that something would happen, lol, since nothing happened at the cemetery. It was awesome driving down Bloods Point Road. Hearing about the stories that happened on that road. Maybe we will go out there again and see if anything happens. I hope they didn;t tear down the church. I would really like to see it!

This is actually all horse ****. I live not even 10 minutes from there and go there almost every weekend to mess with the people that actually think somethings going to happen. We usually chase people just to make them think it’s the “ghost” mustang. Most fun is the cemetery. Nothing happens but since your paranoid you start “seeing” things.

i’ve been to bloods point and the haunted places on it. wash your car, sprinkle baby powder on it, walk into the cemetary, there will be handprints on the car when you go back to it. put the car in neutral in the center of the bridge and if your car is capable of it turn it off while in neutral, you will start to drift into the right lane and move forward… the bridge is flat in the middle so no downhill shenanigans. if you climb down to the tracks beneath the bridge, there were animal sacrifices recently. but before those started there were pictures taken of me while friends were still on the bridge of white light going between my arms bent and i was being tugged at at the time. there is a traffic light for the trains a bit ways down from the bridge that you can only see form the tracks and it does move around. there is also loud noises and screeching coming from the woods around it and large dark objects that appear and disappear. there is a haunted house down the wa but it got burned down two years ago because people were going crazy if inside for too long. i walked through with friends with nothing but a cell phone for light and the place pulls you different place. but the garage and basement were the most haunted. you could hear people talking in both places and whispering for you to come to them… obviously we ran away from the house as soon as we heard something in the attic… especially since the original owners packed their **** and disappeared after hearing voices and recieving strange marks on their bodies. then there is sweeny bridge. if you follow bloods point rd until it turns into old river rd, you will come across a hidden sign by a hidden rd saying sweeny rd, there is a bridge there. now this is not the actual bridge that holds the history but it is just as old
the original bridge was a ways down, years back it was the “hanging bridge” originaly for “witches” LIKE the witch beulah who was famous around there. she would hang children for everyone to see for her curses andwhat not. eventually she herself was hung from the same bridge but cast a curse on the people that were to visit said bridge and speak ill of her name. what the curse was idk. but after that amongst other hangings the local klu klux klan would do their hangings at that bridge as well. eventually when law enforcement put a stop to the area kkk the authorities in the area decided the road and bridge were unnecessary especially wth the bad reputation it left. so they got rid of it.. but as soon as they got rid of it sweeny bridge had wierd happenings going on. like an old woman walking down the tracks singing a song. also screams were heard and childrens voices and giggles.
now their are a few more myths from the surrounding are. flora church is the oldest standing church in the area and its road is known to cause problems for late night drivers or adventurous people. their is an old farm somewhere around there with woods and an old rock wall. it is said if you are in the woods at night you will begin to hear a dog bark and soon see a black dog with red eyes which is also rumored to be seen at bloods point bridge and the cemetary, there is also more often than not an old man with a shot gun who will chase after yo uthrough the woods. so don’t get lost. the only time you will be safe is when you ge ton the other side of the wall, and that is when he disappears after shooting at you.
and my last installment is this which was terrifying when i experienced it. drive around late enough on these back roads and an old large black truck will come out of nowhere and begin to follow you . it’s sole purpose is to run you off the road. when it happened to me it followed us and tailgated us for twenty minutes. we tried to ditch it multiple times but it just sped up shining birhgt lights into our car and attempting to rear end us or scare us into thinking it was. it only disappeard when we faked a left turn but went right instead. the truck continued left and disappeared. we ended our night lol

Bloods Point Road is not haunted. I know of actual ghost hunters who have been there dozens of times and have found nothing. Good job making up all your little horror stories though.
