Bloods Point Road
If one travels on this road toward the cemetery, he will notice a bridge just above the train tracks. Once, a school bus filled with children flew off the bridge, killing all the passengers. Today, if a car is put in neutral on this spot, it will be mysteriously pushed across the bridge. There is also a traffic light in the area that seems to change locations. In the cemetery many have seen a ghost and heard whistling.

Yeah, Schaumburg has all these creepy houses just popping up like magic……………If you want to get freaked out, go to The Excalibur. I went there a few years ago with my band and we had big group of people and around 2am a couple of us decided to help a bartender friend go get some stuff and to a person we felt something touch us. He seemed ok with it because he said it’s happened before, but the rest of us were completely freaked out. We walked through cold spots and the weird thing was the smell of old dirt when everything was concrete. I don’t have an answer for it, but it was freaky.

I have been doing alot of research on Blood’s Point Road. Firstly, there are a lot of things that can be explained…however, somethings can not.
If anyone was wondering, Blood’s Point comes from Able R Blood (or some say Arthur) who founded the town. Pearl Road was also called Blood Road (according to one researcher named Betty) and where Blood’s Point and Blood’s Road meet make the point.
If anyone has any stories to share or information on Blood’s Point Road….Please. Please Please drop me a note. Obtr32@aol.com

Ok – here is what I know about Bloods Point. Many many people mistake Flora Church Cemetary for Bloods Point Cemetary. Flora Cemetary is on Flora Church Road and is right across from Flora Church – the Church. My friends and I used to party in the cemetary nightly about 18 years ago. I have heard many stories but the only personal experiences I have had are seeing what appeared to be a sacrificed dog (a small white doge cut open from neck to navel and everything was removed)deep in the woods in the area, and yes, the car/truck following us. I’m not so sure that there are ghosts out there but rather “odd hillbilly people”

okay!!i have this friend who went there and we didn’t go to the bridge, but the cemetary is really creepy. We went in the shed and the door closed on us. So we ran out then went back in and there were like weird stuff going on in the place. We heard footsteps and saw ghosts. We ran back to the car and there were handprints then all the doors were locked, but we didn’t lock them….we also saw the truck, it almost hit my car.always

I know this story is false for ONE main reason.. I live in Belleville Illinois, and the story is also HERE in my home town which is NOWHERE near where this story is from! Its all bogus. Its been said that the bus of kids died on the bridge(here it was a railroad crossing)and if you put baby powder on ur trunk lid you will see HUNDREDS of childrens fingerprints on it because the children are pushing you(onto the tracks) or possibly(if your heading the wrong direction) off the tracks to save your life.. but if you back up and stare at the road, its flat..oooo spooky! NOT.. the story is the same, but different slightly, and still is BOGUS! thought i’d let u know!

Tonight me and my bf and good friend and my bf’s parents went out to Bloods Point. If you turn right onto the road you will find the cemetary. However if you turn left onto the road you will find the bridge over the railroad tracks, the bridge is shortly after you make the lefthand turn onto Bloods Point Road.We didnt see anything out at the cemetary so thats all bogus we think. However, when we went out to the bridge we could hear rocks being thrown and see the children down by the tracks. We also saw a dark figure standing down on the tracks that walked behind the truck we drove there in and my bfs mom saw it walk behind the truck and on the way back home we realized it came back with us.Piece of advice when you go out there don’t start swearing at them or yelling at them they get ticked off and may go back home with you.My friend Erik ticked them off and two followed us back.We got rid of one of them but the other however is now in my apartment where we all live.As for the black truck that follows you thats all bull cuz that didnt happen. Its pretty cool to check out just watch what you do or say when you’re out there!

Im just curious if anyone out there has been to the forest perserve out by bloods point. Its the opposite way of the cemetary and honestly i think there’s more activity there then there is at the cemetary itself. My sister and myself went there to do some pictures for her photography class and the whole time it was very miss matched presences, you could feel some hostility and at other times kindness. It was just really odd plus in almost all the pictures you can see objects, or people and faces in the background. Im really involved with the supernatural and love this kind of stuff so if anyone has any more information on it please let me know. http://www.myspace.com/sick123

i went out to bloods point a few times, the first time we didnt c anything but the 2nd time we went with 9 people and stood on the tracks on the bridge and everyone got a werid feeling of hostility. my friend had a dime in his hand and i heard the sound of it hitting the tracks but he still had it in his hand. some people heard noises in the bushes and growling noises. 2 of my friends were walking down the road and saw a shadow figure run by em and then it was gone…another good place to go is floral cementary…last time i was there me and my friends saw a large shadowy figure moving around by the shed, we took off running from it. it almost felt like it was trying to chase us out of the cemetery. went back towards it again and it would disapper when u went near it then re-apper when u walked away. it was very creepy, ive never seen 4 grown men run so fast in my life. i suggest everyone goes out and visits that place.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE OLD WOODEN BRIDGE ON POOLE ROAD I PASSED IN A CAR STOPPED AND LOOKED AT THE BRIDGE FROM THE CAR… (KEEP IN MIND THIS IS AROUND 2:00AM)AND THEN OUT OF NO WHERE IM BEING CHASED BY AN OLD OLD CHEVY BLAZER WITH WHITE GHOSTS INSIDE J/K NOT GHOSTS IT TURNS OUT THEY WERE KU KLUX KLANS ME BEING MEXICAN I KNOW WHY THEY DID IT….. I BELIVE THIS PLACE IS HAUNTED BUT ONLY ON SPECIFIC DATES OR TIMES AND THE OTHER TIMES ITS JUST PEOPLE TRING TO JOKE AROUND… I SUGGEST GOING OUT THERE WITH A 12 GUAGE SHOT GUN SHOOT IT AT THE MYSTRIOUS BLAZER THAT MIGHT CHASE YOU AND YOU WILL SEE ITS NOT A GHOST CAR AND THAT WILL GET THEM OFF YOU JUST IN CASE YOUR BEIN CHASED/// BUT I WANNA KNOW WHERE THE BRIDGE THAT IF YOU PUT YOUR CAR IN NEUTRUEL WILL GET PUSHED OFF??? ON WHAT STREET IS IT ON???

I grew up in Freeport, close to there, and I have never heard of it. I will be back in the area in a couple weeks so if someone could leave directions that would be cool. Also has anyone heard of Goat Man’s house? It’s by Lena.

Ok, so i have been randomly browsing this website and to be honest..im a little pissed off at some of the people on here. This is a site for hauntings. Whether or not they are real is something you find out for yourself. Don’t come here if you are going to give false information or stupid remarks. Go somewhere else for that. Some people actually might WANT to read information that is relevant. And they might actually want to go to these places. It doesn’t help if you just F**k around. Yeah, I do believe in some supernatural things and its fine if some of you don’t. But don’t come here and state that. I personally don’t care about you and I don’t think anyone else does either. So if you actually have something worth while to say go right ahead and say it. But if you’re going to be a D-bag about it.. go to hell.

Ok. I have an eyewittness account of a ghost car aswell as the black rig that you’re all talking about. First and foremost, I must say that Cherry Valley’s ghosts are not friendly. At all. Period. On to the account. My boyfriend was driving home through Cherry Valley from seeing his ex fiancee for one last time. He took bloods point rd. About midway down, at the entrance to Cherry Valley (the town) a set of blue lights turned on behind him. He thought it was just a car that turned onto the street. pretty soon it started gaining on him. He sped up, it sped up. Before long he was going almost 100mph, as fast as his car would go, and the thing was still gaining on him. He says it got close enough that he clearly saw a face in his rear view mirror. He now refuses to go through Cherry Valley, or even look at a sign for the town. And I don’t blame him. Cherry valley, and ghosts in genral are not things to be trifeled with. They can seriously do some damage. Take caution when you go there. It doesn’t matter how many crosses you carry, they can and will harm you if given the chance.

coming from a skeptic…..i hate that place. the true bridge is off of sweeney, for those of you from th rockford area its much like the harison/20th street bridge as its covered by trin tracks….one of the scariest places i have ever been, and everytime i leave that area a red truck with creme panneling on the sides has chased me, but just before it gets close, it vanishes. i turn around everytime to ee were it puuled off, and its no where to be found, problem is, there are no garages for it to park in….
so much for a skeptic i suppose
