i just want to say the story behind bloody mary started in lincoln nebraska right by where i live her real name is mary ann partington you can read the book on her life called bloody mary: a Gentle Woman by
Frances G. Reinehr, author Biographical narrative about Mary Ann Partington (1889-1979) who endured 20 years of harassment while living alone in her father’s house. Arson, theft, threats, imprisonment, shootings and death were all part of the torment this retired Lincoln, Nebraska, teacher resisted and endured for her independence.
