After talking with a gentleman who lived in the area we were able to locate the mansion. The property has been bought. We drove up to the mansion and spoke with the new owners. He informed us that the hole we saw on the way up was the last piece of evidence of the mansion. He tore it down. What remained was the hole for the basement. He said no more and shut the door. The cheese factory that is located on this property is also down and replaced with new barns. On Jan.2, 2012, my husband and I took a drive up to Decatur, IN to the Kuklehan Mansion. There is no such house in the area, nor have I ever heard this story. Maybe Bluffton,Ohio. I can Tell you though that The Rittenhouse Rest. is haunted; I work there and freaky stuff happens to me all the time. Fort Wayne ghost trackers has been there and many others come in just to look around and take pics. If you are looking for a great meal and ghost come in adn see us.
