Brag Light
In this thicket, it is said that a man was decapitated by a passing train, and ever since then has been searching for his lost head. He is reported to be seen in the form of a light, which is most often seen during hazy nights. Also, it has been reported that the lights follows cars at various times.

My dad, my sister, and I went to Bragg road last night, (a tuesday night). It was easy to find, because we came from 1293 and just turned off the road on the left that had a huge reflective sign. It was funny because we were all getting spooked except my brave sister, but we turned in and immediately started feeling like this was a bad idea. The thrill of it all was almost unbearable. It is the perfect place for a ghost to hang out; even the highway was almost completely empty at 8:00pm. The road was very creepy and the trees were all leaning in towards it, and everytime we would see a glint of light from a beer can or piece of trash in a tree we would freak out. So it felt like a very long drive because we were so scared and anticipatory of a ghost light. After we passed the tourist signs we talked my dad into stopping and turning the headlights out. He reluctantly agreed. The moon was almost completely full, but it was lower down on the horizon so when we saw it, of course it scared us at first. However, it did not aid in lighting the road any. Now we only stopped for about a minute at a time because we are truly scaredy cats, but we did not see anything but car head and taillights. We knew they were that because we passed a truck from that direction. Then we went further down and decided to turn around. I am not sure how far down we were, but we did not go down to the last 8 mile stretch. But we did stop, facing 1293 where we had come, and watched the furthest away for any light. We did see a whiteish orange light, too far away to tell if it was an orb, streak from the trees across the road to the other side into the woods. Now I want to ask anyone who has been close to the light, should we have gone down further? Because I know that the train track is all the way down the road. Please let me know if my experience may have been an encounter, and if there are better times of the year to go and see the light. Next time we go, we will be brave enough to go all the way down the road and wait in our dark car for the light. Also, I would like to know if the light has ever gotten close enough for anyone to reach out and touch it, or is it a faster moving light, like the one I saw. We also thought that maybe we saw just a car passing on the highway, but the highway was so far off compared to the light. I don’t think we could have seen the highway from there.

I have also been there I saw the light. It did freak me out but I didn’t stay long enough to see if it would get bigger,or chase me. As soon as I saw IT I left rather quickly. I don’t know if it is truely a haunted road but I’ve heard alot of stories.I personly think people are going out there messed up and just seeing things that simply do not happen. I’ll tell you why because all that it is a reflection of car lights off of gas that is up from the ground. Because anyone that lives in that area knows there are alot of oil riggs around there. So you people quit smoken that ****; and stop going out to see it when you all messed up. You’ll sound like a smater person when you all sober up.

I went out there last night. We got to the road and were parked in the clearing right around 4am. Of course the three of us are really scared at this point. We sat there for probably a minute and then this small red light appeared in the middle of the road the way we came from. One of my friends reached for her camera and as soon as she got it ready it just dissapeared. She put it away and we thought it would be gone for good but it came back! It didn;t come towards us like we had heard it would but honestly I probably would have had a heart attack if it did. It just stayed back and looked like it was floating in water or something. That road is amazing! If you don’t think its true just go out there.

Everyone,
The Ghost Light of Bragg Road is a true and real supernatural phenomena. I have been to Bragg Road several times and the light always comes to me. I challeged it and it strobed me. It knows when I am on that road and I know when it manifests itself. People whom say that the light does not exist, are wrong.
All you have to do is park on the side of the road and you will not have too long to wait and the light will come calling on you. It is a very frightening experience. I call Bragg Road, the scariest place in Texas!! Beware of the light, it will scare you because it feeds on your fear!!
Happy Haunting!!!
