Buckhorn Exchange
Presently a restaurant, when the fur trade began, this building was one of the first trading posts in the area. It is said that the building is haunted by many of the traders. There have been reports of tables moving suddenly. Also, many have reported hearing voices and footsteps when no one is talking or moving.

As a matter of fact, when you go to the Buckhorn Exchnage you are surrounded by dead all over the place. This is because there are stuff animals all over the restaurant and actually is kind of creepy.
But the real ghost in the buckhorn exchange is the one that is left in your wallet after you paid the extremely expensive check

My friend’s parents are part owners of the Buckhorn and she’s worked there for years. She’s never mentioned anything weird happening. I agree the stuffed animals are creepy though. haha

I was acctualy very surprised to see this restaurant on the list beacuse i did have a crazy experience there. I thought I was just going crazy. I was in the bathroom on the second floor, and I had a creepy feeling about the place anyway. The handles on the faucet are like “J” shaped and you haft to push them up to turn them on. I had them pushed all the way over and the hot watter handle moved back towards me and then far enough over that gravity took over and turned the hot water all the way off. The water got SUPER cold and I pulled my hands away. Deffinetly made me think the place was haunted.

I doubt Buckhorn is haunted. They just put the bar upstairs for all the drunkards!

Although it is spooky because of all the animals on the wall.
I didnt experience any haunting or anything like that.
Now on one picture I took it looked a little weird but I belive that was from light outside.

I also had a creepy experience in the bathroom upstairs. I would not say it’s creepy as much as I would say it was moving. I don’t really know how to put it into words. Basically I got this overwhelming sensation I had been there before (and I have not ever been in that building) and then I got goosebumps all over my body. I felt like that room used to be a bedroom and I think that the only original part is the big metal water/ steam pipe. The faucets were interesting too but I had no issues with the water. I was maybe too distracted by the tears that were welling up in my eyes. I was not there that long, I had only had 2 beers and I was no where near buzzed or altered. I heard a voice that said “Momma’s back boys” then I said it and it didn’t sound like it came from me. It was very moving and it happened both times I went to the bathroom. When I left the Buckhorn Exchange I was actually crying. I was not sad, it was a happy cry but nevertheless, it was bizarre and today I feel like it was not even me. Too strange. I love that place and I will be back. I can’t wait to go back in the bathroom!

I have a friend who works there and she states that there is a woman wearing white seen quite often and weird things happen alot. She also states in the bathroom people complain about weird experiences. She has not seen anything direct but she has witnessed enough odd things that she believes the place is haunted without question. I havn’t ever been there

I don’t know if this is true or not ,but i would die if a table or something started moving by itself.
