Grew up in the area, everyone has heard of Bunnyman. Been there many times, even in the middle of the night, nothing. It is listed as one of the most haunted places in Northern Virginia, though.

I cannot believe you people think this place is real. Do you also think the Amittyville Horror was a true story? Geeze people, grow a brain and do the research. There never was, nor ever has been, an insane asylum in Northern VA. Now, how do I know this? Well, I’ve lived in NOVA my whole life, and I READ! Which means I have the ability to think, and therefor can detect the bull**** that is in these “real life” accounts. Anybody who believes this story must also think Paris Hilton is worth the attention she gets. Seriously people, stop being sheep and letting the mass media rule your lives.

My friend and I went last weekend. Didnt see anything. Walked under the bridge and we both felt the tempature drop quickly. She wanted to continue on to the railroad tracks said she was feeling something up there. She fell down half way up. we went down the road all the way till it was a dead end and said no tresspassing. we went through anyway and we didnt see any fresh animal kill at all. Looks like NOTHING HAS happened for several halloweens now so maybeits not true…. who knows I didnt visually see anything…………………

i went there with my best freind and bunny man killed my best freind we searched for her everywhere but couldnt finnd her. DONT GO THERE EVER

Um, what the hell? This is NOT the story of The Bunny Man Bridge at ALL!!!!! The Bunny Man was Douglas J. Grifon. He escape from an asylum in 1904. He mutilated bunnies, leaving their dead bodies for people to find. He also killed his escaped companion Marcus A. Wallster. He hung him from Bunny Man Bridge. It’s said he still haunts the area, killing kids who stray too close at midnight on Hallow’s Eve. SO GET IT RIGHT!!!!

Soo i really want to know if all this is true..i go to the university of alabama, but live here, and theres an old criminally insane asylum my friends and i go to check out. It’s rundown cus they tried buring it down and theres also an old hospital nxt to it. But i’d really like to know if the cabin and the hospital are actually true or not because i’d love to check it out. Be Safe Everyone….FFx Cops aren’t the nicest cops…trust me from experience…

So my husband and I drove over to this bridge in clifton, va after work this past friday. We arrived and it was just beginning to become dusk. The bridge itself is pretty neat a one lane tunnel bridge with the railroad track going over top of it. However nothing unusual happened. It felt a little creepy but I think that is only because the woods around there in the winter time look that way. Also if you do enough research even just on the internet you’ll find that there has never been an insane asylum around that area ever! About the so called shack people found. I did not see one but then again we did not go wandering around. There a bunch of really big houses back there. At the end of the road it dead ends with a sign that states no trespassing. This is where so many others have claimed to have gotten out and walked down to the shack. These people here don’t mess around for calling the police so unless you want a trespassing violation I sugguest you do not do it or else ask the person who’s land it is for permission before hand. Nothing strange there again and the tunnel has been painted over in white so many times due to spray painters as well. This is just dang crazy. I been livin neer this bridge all my life. Shoot, ain’t no “Bunnyman” around here. The only shack around there is mine. There ain’t no animals hangin’ up in it neither. I skin them out in the woods and just hang the hides on the wall. It makes the place look kinda purty I think. I got me some of my homemade windchimes hangin out in the trees around here cuz I like the way they sound. But there ain’t nothing spooky out here. Ya’ll don’t come hangin around here lookin for no spooks. This is my place and I don’t like trespassers. People are just all the time trespassin on my property. It makes me mad as fire. They always make a mess. They throw stumps and stuff on my land. I hate people! Kids are okay tho. I kinda like kids. I gotta few hangin around here somewheres. They don’t make no messes tho. They’re real quiet too. Anyways, don’t you come around here lookin for no “Bunnyman”. I don’t wanta have to hurt nobody else.

You dont have children hanging around there on your property! I know quite a few fairfax police officers and I just make one phone call and we can get the trueth right here and now!Stop with the bs.

Jewels- I think that Mr. Maynard was being sarcastic. It sounds like he was making fun of the whole thing. I doubt seriously he even lives anywhere near the county, much less the bridge. I thought it was pretty funny myself. There are ghosts Jewels, but this story is just ridiculous. It all boils down to some nut that ran around for a while in a big bunny suit. He never hurt anyone and he definitely wasn’t a ghost. There is no mental hospital and there was no murder, dismemberment or escaped criminals. There are way too many haunted places to waste time on this one.

i’ve been there 3 times and the first time is fun.. but then once youre through the tunnel.. your done. its stupid. there’s cops scopein the place all the time because you’re trespassing. have fun going to jail over superstiton. a cop actually rolled through one time and my friends actually climbed to the top of the bridge to get away. and that ‘shack’.. is someones house. we met him.
but getting there is fun. clifton is a great road to do a buck20 and drifting.

my friends and i it was a b8nch of us went down to bunnyman bridge for halloween and yes we went b3fore midnight and let me tell you we so cr3ep out we turned the vcar around 6 times and waited there and u can see a small light and orbes floating we al took pictures and you can see orbes and a outlin3e of a face it was cold errie and scarry our windows fogged up we coundnt see anything until this girl came out scream9ng and you can see the figure of th3e bunnyman at the beginnig of the bridge, dont go but a group of teenagers were in two cars went to the abandon hosp thjey were never seen or heard from again……
