Grew up down the street from Bunny Man Bridge. I have never experienced anything paranormal while near the bridge, and I went around there a lot in my childhood. I even went there one night by myself, waiting for a friend to pick me up. I will say this, if you are planning on going there for some Halloween thrills...forget about it. Police basically put up a blockade Halloween night and several weeks leading up to Halloween. Any other time of the year may be OK. Going during the day is a safer option. Just don't be stupid and bring any illegal substances with you because encounters with the police kind are likely. If you are a believer, I think going there would be a fun adventure. The place does have a bit of a "spooky" feel just because of the location. There used to be a rope swing less than a mile down the train tracks going towards Clifton that I used to enjoy, if its still there, I would think that would be more exciting than the Bunny Man :)

So far as I know the real story is that in the 1970's some guy dressed in a bunny costume on Halloween and killed teens who parked at the bridge to make out. But none of the stories are verified. The man who owns the property now has lights rigged up so if you go under the bridge they will come on. Basically he was tired of drug deals, teens parking, and haunt enthusiasts showing up there, so if you go there and see the lights come on don't be surprised if the cops show up.

I remember the first time I heard about this on the Travel Channel. I know some of the story might be made up, but its still a pretty good story. I still would like to see it one day.

I've been there a bunch of times just to the bridge though I didn't even know about this hospital but now it makes me wanna go back.... The bridge is scary I had things happen more than once..... The first time I was there handprints did show up on the windows of the car when we where parked under the bridge with the car turned off we got freaked out and left.... The second time we went there as soon as we left the bridge the car locks started goin crazy locking and unlocking all by themselves uncontrollably and we all put out hands up and the driver put both hands on the wheel and it was still happening and by the way every car we ever took there ended up breaking down with in a couple days....

The cross is for Lauren Sausville. She went to my high school (Fairfax High School) and died in a car accident on that road. She was drunk driving while on her way with friends to see the bridge.
