I am Michael and the lady (witch) you speak of is my great, great godmother. She was actually murdered because of her belief she was “The Blood of Jesus”. It has long been said my mothers side carrys the blood line of Jesus Christ. I guess that would mean only my sister and I still hold this. My godmother of many generations ago will speak to you at times within this cemetary.

ive been there no sad feeling just that consant awesome gates of hell feeling it might have something to do with that freaky old callaped mine tht ninteen people died in only half were found the cemetary spoken ove here isent there anymore it whent down in a mudslide and they had to move the reimaining remains to hire ground…and when you move bodies a whole lotta bad stuff can hapen paranormally but its a very large cemetary and i got some paranormall feed back by the mine and the front aspen grove ….i wouldent advise night scopeing beacause of the shear size of the cemetary it would be very easy to get lost and never befound so fair warning stay by the gates if your there at night its located near old inn or something inn cemetary witch is across the street witch is small and not haunted but still really neat

The Knights of Pythias is with the Masonic, I didn’t see a Masonic cemetary sign anywhere. Was that the Masonic too?

However, when we go to Odd Fellows Cemetary, there at the front is a black iron fence surrounding several headstones, one of which is a 15 year old girls there and to the left is a 90 great grandmothers grave that I always have a feeling of please come here. The girls name is PETARNED from what I can read on the weathered stone. Why I am drawn this this plot, no idea, but its a very strong feeling I have when I go to Central City.

There is also a new spot that has a small boy plot there with his pictures. If I remember right, he was two when he died.

I’ve got to go back and bring a tape player and see if I can pick anything up, I’m quite phyic and I had a feel like everyone was talk at the same time. We saw the teepee structure, had a small wheel barrel in it.

Well anyway, I really need to know if I was in the Masonic Cemetary

I’ve visited the Knights of Pythias cemetery dozens of times, in addition to the Central City and Catholic cemeteries, and I’ve never gotten any creepy feelings from any of them. I actually feel better after a hike through the cemeteries. I haven’t seen anything paranormal occur up there, neither, but I find I’m always drawn to the Thomas Hooper grave – he can be found in the Knights of Pythias cemetery, first gate, one of several graves surrounded by its own wrought iron fence. I don’t know if it’s because a 120-something year old aspen tree had grown out of his remains, or if it’s because his headstone is the only one that states he was killed, but I can never bring myself to leave the cemetery until I’ve visited his grave. Thomas Hooper was only 22, I wonder what killed him.

I visited this cemetary and you could immediately feel that it had more energy than any other cemetary i’ve been too it was wild you could feel a negative energy there

I have been told by my father that his relatives are buried in the Masonic graveyard in Central City. Our last name is Annis. If anyone would like to go and research some of the graves their I’d love some information as I live in Kansas. I haven’t been back to those cemetery’s since the early nineties.They were old and creepy then and I’m sure they have aged nicely.I’m not sensitive to all of that afterlife stuff, but if I was that’s were Id go.I currently work just blocks away from riverside cemetery and wished I had a reason to just stop off after work and walk around.There is so much history in these places to be found.I still find them fascinating even though I can’t see or feel whats really going on.

I have been to all the cemeteries in central city, none gave me a creepy feeling but did have serious energy flowing through them, this past fall i was walking through the main central city cemetery with my paranormal group ( mile high spirit seekers, you can find us on my space )it was late at night and as we walked along the path it sounded as though someone was walking to the left through the trees behind us as if following us also it looked as though the wind was blowing just on the left side….weird…. we plan on visiting again in the spring or summer will follow up with any further information…if u need our help with a haunting please feel free to email blacksunshine89@gmail.com and in the subject line put mile high spirit seekers…

I currently live just out side of Central City, the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in the grave yards around here are the complete and total idots who come here and disrespect the dead by breaking stones and racing their 4wheelers and dirt bikes around thru the place, how would you @%$%^#@ feel if someone rode a 4wheeler over your Mommas grave stone? I hope the people who have done this are ashamed, and better yet Haunted by what they’ve done. Shame on all of you.

I was at the masonic cemetary a few days ago and captured a pic of a man standing in the trees and you can see right through him. You could only see the upper part of him. I also captured a cat shadow on the tombstone of two cats buried in the city side of the cemetary. I have to agree…these cemetaries are extremely haunted.

I havent had the chance to explore much further than most into the Central City Cemetary. What ground I did cover was perhaps spoiled due to a sense of euphoria on my part and the many others that were also lurking for something to make their hearts beat faster than normal. Since of course my mother and little sister were right behind me, the slush of snow on the ground deemed a hindrance; I could not pay attention to my surroundings. I did however do a little exploring on my own, but I found myself drawn to the Knights of Pythias: Somewhere along, beneath a white tree that towered tall with a black bird perching over. We did not spend long there, but it was certainly an odd and neutral feeling. That is until we came upon the Catholic Cemetary. We walked along the path to the teepee brick structure. It also had an odd feeling and I could not pry my eyes away from it, nor find the strength to venture inside as my sister had. We traveled all around till, if I can remember correctly, we came to the very back and around to the front on a narrow path we hadn’t taken before. The path was covered in cacti of some sort, but the odor was overwhelming! It was an unbearable stench that appalled us as we left our current position to escape. It was not stationary for it had followed us till we had finally retreated from the cemetary. My Mother had felt the sense of someone following us, but I was sure she was just paranoid as we ducked into the vehicle. Meanwhile, we had taken pictures and video footage of our experiences through the whole area. Upon reviewing, we discovered faces with a purple luminosity and a few Orbs. Unfortunatly, I did not find the Masonic Cemetary and I would be much obliged if anyone would tell me what paths I should take upon my return to the Cemetaries. Also, does anyone know of the structure in ruins across the street that is by the townhomes?
