I lived in Boonville, IN on N 4th St and the house I lived in I’m pretty sure is haunted. I would often hear and feel things in my bedroom at night as if someone were watching me from this particular corner of my room. One night I REALLY could not sleep because of it and then my cat woke up and hissed and actually growled at the same corner I was scared of. I had to call my dad who was asleep downstairs and it took him 20 minutes to convince me to get off my bed. The house was built in 1901 I believe and there was once a fire there. Alright, Grammar Teacher, **** you. Just because the majority of people in Boonville are complete and total idiots does not mean that we all are. It would be kind of you to retract that statement seeing as there are some of use who can, and know how to, type well. It’s very cliche and unbecoming of a teacher to make such an assumption based off of popular belief. You just showed all of us how idiotic you are in your comment, so please refrain from commenting back.

A few days ago my old baby-sitter was watching a kid and he told me that hes moms mom died not to long ago.when he is at his moms hes fine, but when hes at his dads hes says he hears her talking to him,trying to get in his room.hes says he hears her, and he cant get to sleep because of this. the baby-sitter thanks she is watching over him. but she is scaring him to death.

My moms’ friend saw a lady that had a car accident a few years back. She had the wreck on 2 way stop on Monroe St in Boonville. She was walking to her room when she looked up and saw the lady that had the accident. She didn’t even get scared she knew who it was.

OK I have never heard of “Black Annie” until this morning went I went online to look up stuff about hauntings because the APT I live in here in Boonville is haunted and I lived at Scales Lake with my parents for almost a yr and I had free roam of the park day or night and I was all over the park durning the day and at night hell when I was a teenager a bf at the time and I went skinny dipping in the lake after midnight and we were there till like 4am and I never saw **** or heard **** except the normal sounds of a camp ground late at night we also walked the pavilion as well and sat there for hours at night and never had any experiences or heard anything either. So as far as the goes I seriously doubt she exists. I am far from Skeptic when it comes to this sort of thing and usually in a haunted place I do experience stuff because every place I have ever lived in was haunted espically in Northern IN when I lived there for several yrs. So I am the last Skeptic on earth. Right now my APT is haunted really bad. With several different spirits. So I am no skeptic! Plus I can’t find any information on the Black Annie ive looked for a while this morning and just ran across this. I didn’t know who the hell she was till now. Can anyone give me more info on this because I would like to know more if anyone knows anymore let me know send me an E-Mail to FoggyMorning2781@yahoo.com. Also anyone who finds info on her E-Mail me where I go to read more or get more background on her please I would like to get more background because I do plan to go investigate on my own but I want to know what she’s about and what I will be getting into! I am not scared easy so people who try to make **** up won’t work with me I have been through hell with spirits so nothing will scare me easily. So please give me truth no fake BS please! Thank you to whomever can help me with this issue. When I do go I will let you know if I had any experiences or not. If I do I will tell you what happened. So give me info ASAP! I want to do this investigating around Halloween if not on Halloween maybe sooner then if I don’t get anything the 1st time I will go back on Halloween. So LET ME KNOW PEEPS!!! TY!

Ok so black annie is supposed to be haunting scales lake park. The story goes that TD Scales (the man who donated all the land for the park) built his house in the woods. one day a fire broke out and everyone but the african american servant girl, annie, survived. now annie roams the woods and sometimes the pavilion. I work there and though I’ve never had a personal experience, we have some documented cases on file…it’s pretty creepy.
