there is a brige in Nebraska that I have known about for some time …It is called cry baby brige for a reason there is an old farm place just southeast of the brige where you can see some of the old building still standing … it is said that if you stop just before the bridge and sprinkle baby powder on your vehicle and go slowly over the bridge not only will there be baby handprints but those of humand hands print (mother) on your vehicle weather night or day. and at night or day you can hear a baby cry when you open your vehicles window.. I know cause I did this and it is true.. will not tell you the town becouse there is alot of goings on that is very very real and very very gostly in our town..there is said to be an old railroad track near this bridge what happened know one will ever know….

I went to a crybaby bridge &+, I saw a ghostie & she said ” Do you have any toilet paper? I’m getting an itchy rash from wiping with these old leaves! ” I said, ” Yes, I always keep a spare roll in my back pocket!”, I pulled out the roll & looked at it, before handing it ro her I said, “You’re in luck! It’s the Bargin Kind! ” She gave me an angry look and said she only uses Charmin!! She took the roll out of my hand, pee’d;wiped, and through the used toilet paper at me &+ told me to go to the liquor store down the road &+ bring her back some boo’s, she was tired of hearing the baby cry.
Yup; true story. (= Even though she was a bit predijuce towards the Bargin Brand. )= -Emilia<3

I went to crybaby bridge maybe two or three nights ago, and i went with some of my friends and we were under the bridge and we got out of my car and I turned it off and then we got out for a few minutes. We went to get back in and i turned my car back on and then it looked like there was blood on the windshield.. It was so creepy. Has this ever happened to anyone else??

No one has said where this bridge is in Sidney, other than to say it’s out of town on some road. Where is it? The only bridges I know of are Ross Bridge and the railroad bridge.

there are a few bridges in sidney reportably to be the exact bridge where this all took place.. but did you know just a small crack and a ounce of wind can make creepy sounds.. I have been to a few bridges out of no where in Sidney, Ohio that you can’t even drive across and I don’t feel anything.. I’m not skeptical I just don’t really believe there is a crybaby bridge in every county of ever state.. it’s proposterous.. or whatever how you spell the ****.. don’t bother trying to find it man.. not worth it.. but if you ask some of the older ppl who lived in sidney for a while that believe in ghost or the paranormal then they might be able to give you what you are looking for.. i been to a few bridges like i said when ppl told me it was the bridge.. but i need solid evidence so i don’t believe any of the places are haunted.. ross bridge maybe, but i know there’s a creepy bridge down from the railroad trussels down a little ways from jail.. i can’t remember thought because it’s been years.. good luck.. peace..

I went to “one” crybaby bridge in Ohio when I was a teenager back in the 80’s. Didn’t see nor hear anything. I agree that there are crybaby bridges acrss the border, so most are nonsense, but, I think that the story had to come from somewhere long ago because something probably did happen on one bridge somewhere. It’s just like everything else though, people run with stories and legends and exagerate. IMO, there is probably one real crybaby bridge somewhere and that is it. But to know where and exactly what happens is probably impossible because none of us believe anyones story. Which, most sounds rediculous. Maybe just one little bridge with just one little cry and that is it. I could believe that.

First of all,
cry baby bridges are real.
One night me and my girls and my boyfriend went to one in anderson sc. We were all convinced that nothing could happen. We got out and put the keys on the hood of the car and held our hands behind us. For about 5 min nothing happend then we ALL HEARD A FREAKING BABY CRYING. I started freaking out. The door was locked. My boyfriend couldent find the keys because someone toke them. He busted out the window and unlocked the doors. The keys were inside of the car. The car started and we toke off. About 15 min later my girls started crying because there was a dead babydooll in the back seat of the car. We sold the car the next week. Cry baby brdiges are real.

well i think the legend is true cuz i went to cry baby bridge in south carolina january 18, 2008. it was me, my brother, his friend and 4 other girls there with us. we parked on one side of the bridge then got out and walked to the middle of the bridge and started yelling “I GOT YOUR BABY” then l8ter tht nite bout 12 am we heard some noises but idk if it was a baby crying but it was sumthin lol. but what made me believe it was that the legend said that baby hand and footprints wud show up on your windows well it was the wintertime and it was foggy there so the windows were really fogged up and after we came back from yelling i got your baby in the middle of the bridge we went back to our vehicle’s and on the back window of my brother’s vehicle sure enough there was some hand and footprints goin up the back glass so yea i believe in the legends and all yall other bi****s can stfu and keep your opinions to yourself.

this IS i true story, do not stop at this bridge because it is said that as time passes this baby power increases although it only has the knowledge of a baby and it is looking to manifest its self permanently or posses someone. So please for your own safety and others do not stop on this bridge. This child is to do with the devil now and it has great rage for people.

I heard about the one in yellow springs but what I heard was a satanic cult used to meet under the bridge and for a sacrifice one couple had a baby and drowned it. so I went to investigate it and I heard the baby crying aounrd midnight.

you are all just believing the hype, there is a cry baby bridge in every county of ohio. I have been to the one that is supposed to be the real thing and got wasted on the bridge all night and didn’t see nor hear a thing. It’sa all bull and not to discourage any of you but your just believing the hype that has been built up for many years about the bridges being haunted. It is as old as my dad, and he has tried it when he was a kid as well. The same thing happened to him. “NOTHING”

This road is a little different than most haunted roads. On this road a crazy woman will actually run out of her house and chase your ***. It’s happen to many, many people over the years…Myself included.
The woman owns most of the property on the road. And shes been known to pop out of nowhere and chase you off the road and try to damage your car for no reason. The woman is old and evil looking as hell. She also doesn’t like it when you pull up to her house. Alot of people do this to try tow get her to chase you.
She also keeps an abandon house all fenced up with barbwire…Which people call the Midget House. There are so many stories about the place, god knows what’s true and what isn’t. Everything from the KKK to witchcraft has been said to go on in that old boarded up house.
Also her house actually looks like something out of Texas Chainsaw or something. It’s an old big farm house from like the 20 or 30s. Its gotta be the oldest house around the area.
Just be careful going down that road. It’s way out in the middle of nowhere and there’s alot of crazy stuff that goes down out there.

To “I Saw It” in regard to the stop sign. In the story I posted, I described the legends surrounding Greely Chapel Road in Lima, OH as they were told to me. It was only tonight that I came across the story of the murdered teenagers and the guy who was hung from the stop sign. At the time of my experience, however, it was told to me as the classic urban legend about the motorcyclist who was decapitated by the stop sign. You know how urban legends tend to pass from town to town. I’ve looked up the story on the murdered teenagers and it appears to be factual, so I can chalk up the motorcyclist to nothing more than a recycled legend. Either way the result is the same and I intend to go see this bleeding stop sign for myself now that I’m a little older and have experienced this sort of thing for years.
