this bridge is not real…it’s inspired by a bridge outside of st. marys ohio called Bloody Bridge where the story says a woman was dating a guy she liked and went on the bridge that night and another guy that liked her and came and chopped off her date’s head out of jealousy and she was so scared she screamed and fell into the water where she died which is also bullshit because her body is buried somewhere in Putnam County. a lot of people were always afraid to go on that bridge because it was so rickety and falling apart so it was closed off, but later repaired and is now open to ride on. some people here in celina have sworn if you stand on the bridge at night and are really quiet, you can see blood appear on the bridge from the head, hear her scream and a splash in the water. i have stood on this bridge a million times and its never happened and ive lived here all my life, but its still fun to read the story. its also believed she was pregnant when she fell in the water and died! u people if believe this story need to get a life and if u dont believe me about Bloody Bridge in St. Marys, Ohio, look it up for urself or come see or US ST ROUTE 66. u all still need to get a life if u believe about crybaby bridge-it’s stupid!

Actually i know its true but i dont no how theres one in every other state. i live in ohio and i live by a hill called Dog Hill and theres a bridge at the bottom of Dog hill i go sledding there every winter. on holloween there is plenty mystery on the hill it is said the reason its called dog hill is because after the baby and mother died dogs searched under the bridge and on the hill and every dog dissapeared so men on horses also guard the bridge and hill on holloween night. if you drive your car across at exactly midnight your radio will shut off and come on as a baby crying and figures will fog up your windows
its very true if you live in ohio around dog hill i suggest you stay away from it…

I jussed incounterd my first ghost. And it was actully quite funny. I had to stay at my grandams house because my parents went out of town. My granda told me to pick where i wanted to sleep and i picked the t.v. room because it is the most comfortable place in the house. So i went to bed and at about 11 o clock i woke up. I looked at my side and thier was a munchkin about 4foot and he said hi my names jacky with a smile then dissapeard. Woke up the next morning and told me grandma the story. While i was telling the story we heard a big thump up stairs like something broke. We went up stairs and a glass picture broken surrounding the face a little man with a big smile. My grandma told me that was my uncle jack and he was a funny trickster. I told my grandma that was the man and we bolth sorta laughed.

I live in Yellow Springs Ohio and we also have a cry baby bridge its located in Clifton Ohio a couple of miles away me and a couple of friends went out there when we were in school you can hear a baby but we also found that half a mile down the road is a Peacock farm and if u have ever herd Peacocks they sound just like new born babys.

My sister went to one, in Ohio, not too far away. and she took 2 other friends including her boyfriend, whom is now her husband. and they left there keys in the car on the seat, it was a while ago, and it wasn’t exactly a top of the notch car, lol, so they figured what the heck. Anyway, they walked around for a while, then they heard the baby crying. My sister flipped out and ran back to the car, it was locked, and running and the keys were still on the seat. and there were footprints on the car. they had to call a locksmith, who vouges for this whole story, to come out and unlock her car, and bring gas, because it had ran out of gas. But she swears to never go back, and tells everyone not to go there.

There is a bridge in ohio and when you get out of the car you walk to the edge of the bridge and scream
“I killed your baby what are you gonna do about it”
then you can hear a baby start crying then you see a lady throw her baby off of the bridge.after that your car door locks. she trys to throw you off the bridge.

All I have to say is some of you really need to grow up. There are supernatural things in this world and they happen everyday. As for cry baby bridge.. I have heard about soo many different ones. I believe there is one somewhere that is real, only because all urban legends come from fokelore which is based from a true story. just because you dont believe or have never experienced something befor dosnt mean it isnt real. There are some of you on here that just need to grow up.

I live in Rock Hill, SC. An English teacher at my high school is a specialist on the haunted places in our area. She’s done research on them all, from Tillman Hall to Crybaby Bridge. She said that a mother and her baby were in the car, and they were in a car accident on the bridge in the middle of the night. Rescuers were able to remove the mother from the car, but the car was sinking deeper into the water, and they were unable to save the baby. The mother, officials, and bystanders listened as the baby cried for another minute, then the last wail as he died. According to my teacher, if you park on the bridge in the middle of the night, you can sometimes hear the baby crying again. My teacher’s heard the baby multiple times, she’s taken other teachers and friends of hers, some other students have gone, and no one who’s gone has denied hearing the baby’s cry.
