Crying Toddler
This house small house en route to Towanda is said to be haunted by a variety of apparitions. Most people that live there, leave after just a few weeks. Some have reported seeing an elderly man walking to an out-house and an elderly woman hanging clothes out to dry. One family reported having heard their young son tell someone “I do not want to play with you anymore.” Just a few minutes later, it is reported that the toddler ran out of the room crying. Allegedly, his “friend” had made his toy kangaroo spit in his eye and hit him in his face.

If people are going to leave comments about how stupid this site is i am wondering what they do with their time.. You would have to visit the site, read the comments, and then post one yourself…. I also noticed that the smart remarks are very similar, looks like sheep following their immature little shephard if you ask me

OK, if you don’t like the website, then go back to your trailer park! As for the story, I spent the first 16 years of my life in Towanda, I never heard of this. I would like to know where this house is located. My twin brother and I used to live on James Street. That house was haunted! The one time I came home from school, and I was the only one home, I went to go upstairs to my room when the light was flashing on and off. I turned around and stayed down stairs until someone came home. My brother and I would hear strange voices and noises coming from the heat vents that connected to the basement. We never told our Dad or evil step-mother, because frankly they wouldn’t have believed us.

I am from Towanda and while I do not know if the above story is true as I have never heard of that particular house or the occurence, I do know that there is a plethora of paranormal activity all over that general area. I have had experiences in almost every home that I have lived in around the Towanda area. Towanda itself means “here is where our great dead lie.” The town was built upon sacred Native American burial grounds.

Hello all,
I was browsing through the site when this story caught my eye… while I don’t live in Towanda (frankly, I don’t even know where it is!) I find this story interesting… my friend and I like to look into reports like this. Also, if anyone happens to know of any stories of haunts in, around, or anywhere close to the Washington area, please let me know. Thanks!

This was a child with an imaginary friend, young enough to believe in pink elephants and Peter Pan. The only way to know for sure if anything is haunted is to check it out yourself and an affiliated group with documented findings. If your going to do it, do it right to remove any doubt. (And get pictures.)
