Crying Toddler
This house small house en route to Towanda is said to be haunted by a variety of apparitions. Most people that live there, leave after just a few weeks. Some have reported seeing an elderly man walking to an out-house and an elderly woman hanging clothes out to dry. One family reported having heard their young son tell someone “I do not want to play with you anymore.” Just a few minutes later, it is reported that the toddler ran out of the room crying. Allegedly, his “friend” had made his toy kangaroo spit in his eye and hit him in his face.

There is a house located on the road to Lake Wesauking between the lake and North Rome is a white house with a red barn and pond across the road. This house is currently owed by Wysox township, but if anyone could get permission to enter the property and do an investigation, I highly recommend you do so. I lived there when I was a young boy and found myself surrounded by a lot of things I couldn’t understand. I saw a floating apparition of a head beside my bed (scary as hell at 7 years old) and not long after felt a “push” which toppled me down the stairs. As I was falling, I saw the same apparition, but this time full bodied. We moved in when I was 4, and the previous renters had also had run-ins with this ghost and had affectionately nicknamed him “Gus.” We found a picture under the attic steps of who we believe to be “Gus” and his vehicle which still sits behind the house on the edge of the property…burned up. I’m not sure how much of this is related to the actual haunting, but I recommend checking it out. It’s just past the Wysox township limit. If someone does decide to check it out, give it some time…he doesn’t appear every night.

Towanda, “here the great dead are resting”, every night just before they pull in the sidewalks the living dead can be seen walking in the middle of main street, Towanda’s a great town for medicated people, if you get turned by this group.

Then the next day i heard a little talking voice saying “Want to play?” i said “no.” then i said “PLAY WITH ME!” Then i was scared i called all my friends and they heard it when they came to my house iwas very scared that night… then woke up in the middle of the night when it was six am i ate breakfast and heard want syrup even though i wasn’t eating pancakes. And i asked “Who are you then it didn’t answer.” And when i went to bed that day i heard it say” PREPARE TO GO TO HELL!” this not a story! i was so scared

um, to all of you who are hollering about how kangaroos dont spit, etc, how outrageous that claim is: go back and re read what the little boy said. It was a TOY that did this to him, and I HAVE seen, several times, how a “ghost” ( lack of other all inclusive term) can inhabit inanimate objects and make them move and talk. Although I have never seen anything physical (like spit) appear from such an object, i have no doubt it happens. If they can tap the living, pin them down, throw objects, remove items, manifest voices, and apparitions, why would they not be able to take control of a toy? Its probably ALOT easier to do than to possess a living person, and they only have to do it for a minute or two to achieve their desired effect. Come on people, lets be real and honest, not scared little chickens who squawk about nothing.

I had worked in Towanda back in the late 80s to early 90s, cleaning office buildings for PennDot and Penelec ; and I have never seen nor have heard of this incident. Plus, how can a toy , shaped like a kangaroo, spit and kick a toddler? The only two things i can possibly guess is: 1. The toddler’s friend must’ve picked – up the toy himself, and actually hit the little boy in the face; then spitted in the boy’s eye ..or 2. That the toy kangaroo was actually a real baby kangaroo, that attacked the toddler.

I live in Towanda and me and my sister went to this place and took pictures, and one of the pictures came back with thousands of orbs and if you look closely it actually looks like an older womans face, it freaked me out bad. It is located in north towanda. You will see alot of contruction trucks and dumpters there. It is a white house, it is abandoned now, I think the borough might own the property.
