* CONNER* no no you are full of **** pal!!!! I also live in Lawrence and I know of quite a few places that are haunted, The Eldridge being one of them. So have some respect and stop saying people are full of **** when it seems you are the only one who’s full of it and its pretty obvious that you are a skeptic and haven’t witnessed anything for yourself… When the day comes you’ll be back on here apologizing and saying how wrong you were…. Thanks to the rest of you on here for being honest and not hiding your stories.

I have actually had the chance to investigate paranormal at the hotel, in fact you can see me here… http://www.eldridgehotel.com/blog/2008/10/eldridge-ghost.html ……… I am sitting in the chair in room 6, and at the front desk when the picture of the worker is taken. We took more than pictures we also have great audio on the investigation. We found mostly stayed in the basement because of the amount of activity by the guests. The best spot in the hotel is in and around the liquor room. The exit door slams, and the light next to the room would randomly go out, and even when we would take the bulb out and put it back in it would not turn on. Later, without the light being changed it would again be on. I believe in this enough to go back and investigate many more times.

I have a friend who works there and he showed me this..just go up to the front desk and ask to see the picture of the ghost. Sure enough! there is a picture that was taken of the lobby while no one else was there and in the elevator there is a shadow-like dark man figure standing there! chillllls! but yeah there is also a 4 page story list somebody made of the many happenings there by guests and workers, ask them also to see it! some KU students are just to smart like conner, guess he should just stick to being a nay sayer:)

This is all a bunch of bull. I live in Lawrence and attend the University of Kansas. I have stayed at the Eldridge Hotel many times, upwards of four. Frankly, there is nothing haunted about the place, their restaurant is excellent (wonderful wine list) and they have superb staff. All of you have no idea what you are talking about.

i live in salina it is full of goasts and lately i have been reading these stores are scary and one time i went to that hotel onece and i felt wered and woke up and the tv was on and the lamp was on and then there standing by my bed was the goast and then i tried to hit the goat and then he got red eyes and vanished

I have stayed in this hotel and it creeped me out! There is definately something..I keep feeling like I was watched and followed.
