This is weird. The “do you know stephen king?” thing was so random. And i might believe it. If it was more believeable.

Stephen King and his wife Tabbitha are very nice.A little secluded but I can’t say I blame them. They have put bangor on the map and have done so much for the city of bangor.Including a nice swimming pool for the kids.

Hello ghost lovers!

Well thats a nice story but alot of bull as far as witches are concerned the only exist in myth and not in real. They were only perceived to be in olden times but were mere human beings that never worshiped Christ and hence Witches gimme a break if so gimme the address and i will send in the ghost busters hehehehehehehe!

I go to school in Bar Harbor Maine at the College of the Atlantic. Sea Fox is haunted. It is a residence hall. There is a near-sighted ghost that haunts the shadows…and the kitchen. It leaves behind kryptic messages on the fridge and a wretched stank. It likes a quiet house and if there is too much noise the ghost will come and open your door. If the dishes aren’t done water covers the floor and the stink is overwhelming for days. There is also a ghost that can be heard late at night pounding down the stairs and making strange noises. There is also a mormon that haunts the halls. She is silent but stern. We would love to have paranormal investigators visit and halp us get to know more about these spirits.
Please Let us know.

Great story. I have a very good one myself. I have lived here in Dover Foxcroft, Maine for all my life. At one point in my early teens my family rented a home in town. Unusual things began to happen almost instantly once we began to occupy the house. One night I was “visited” by a dark shadowy figure in the door way of my bed room. Which scared me to death since I had my door closed and locked at the time and it now stood wide open to the hallway beyond. My mom was nervous for her own reasons as well which she refuses to talk about to this day. With some inquiry on my mom’s part she found out through the realtor that the home was owned by an eccentric elderly lady who had the quirk of never letting anyone pass into her home past the kitchen area. This included her best friend. Needless to say the home has been sold and resold several times now with each new owner only staying for a very little amount of time.

I know for a fact there is a place in Lebanon New
Hampshire that may be haunted. Theres an old cemetary there called the Old Pine Cemetary and we use to live by it. Some nights really late at night you could hear a horse and carriage coming down the road but if you were to look there would be nothing there but you could still hear it going down the road. They say it was a black horse and black carriage that use to carry the dead to be buried in the cemetary long ago. And that it still goes up and down the road looking to pick up dead people.

I grew up in Bangor and I have never once heard about this story. The only thing in Bangor that is supposed to be haunted is the Mansion next to the YMCA near downtown and then Water Works which I do believe is haunted because I went there one night and most definatly heard something and saw something with my friends scared the ish out of me and sent us running all the way home.

When i was a kid liveing in Long Beach California, we had an abandoned Hospital nearby, a friend and i use to sneak in a broken window on the bottom basement floor. the first time i went we didn’t get to far in the place, but the second time we ventured further and incountered strange stuff. the lights kept flicureing on and off. there was always this strange feeling we were being watched. the last time we went i saw the figure of a woman in a hospital gown, she was closer then i wanted her to be, so i never went back. as an adult i would love to go back with a camera and check the place out. if i could ever find it again.

I like that story! Why is Eliza haunting the place and what does she look like? Has anyone captured her image on tape? I live in Roanoke, VA and there is not that much ghostly activity, except for the Patrick Henry Hotel. I wish I lived in Maine, but my mom doesn’t want to go to cold places.

A nursing home in Freeport is haunted. A lot of people that work there went in not beliving in ghosts, but after working the night shift there, they belive in them now. All of the residents that are in the Old Wing see the same thing. A little blonde curly haired girl with black patent leather shoes and a black pinafore dress. I’m not making this up. My mom works in the nursing home and her friend didn’t belive in ghosts, but she saw a lady with long white hair and a long sleeved white flannel nightgown. There are also angles in the nursing home. How do I know there are angles? I can’t see them, no one can. You can’t reach out and touch one. But there’s a feeling. Something goods in the building that you can’t see. Along with the feeling there is also a strng smell of orchids. My mom will be down the hall and smell the orchids and that’s when she knows that someone died. Last year we were trick-or-treating around Bowdoinham, when she smelled orchids. Her friend had been deathly sick for some time, and when we smelle orchids, we knew. By the way, her friend lived a couple of towns away from us. When we got home there was a message from the lady’s husband saying that she was dead.
