Farm House Murders
In the 1903, an old man, his wife, and their son lived on this farm. After losing the farm on a bet, the enraged man went home and axed his wife and son to their deaths. He then turned himself in to the police and served several years in jail. After he was released, feeling as if he had not been duly punished, the man placed bars on his windows to emulate the environment of his jail cell. It is said that through the bars, one may see the wife and child of the man sitting on the living room floor.

me and my friend were in this really old house and we kept hearing ”HELP ME” over and over agin.we got so scared. we tried to run outside but the door was locked.we couldn’t get out.all of the sudden we were hearing loud slow banging.we were running aroud the house scared and alone,from what we thought.well later on that night,still trapped in the house we heard the phone ring.crystal answed it.she heard ”NOT ALONE.”on the other end.we got so scared. we tried and tried every door,but nothing happend.we went up to the attic to try to find a way out.we heard ”HELP ME”getting louder.we asked” who are you,what do you want,and what will you do if we don’t help you?”.we heard a fant voice saying ”if you don’t i will kill you”.we heard doors creaking open.we ran around the house tring to find a way out. then we found a door,hoping it would lead us out of the house.all of the sudden we opend the door and found a person hung. we cried bloody screams. we turned around to find a little boy just standing there.we asked him questions.we found out thet he was the ghost.he was the little boy hung in the closet.he said”if you don’t get out of my house,I WILL KILL YOU.” his eyes burning with fire.we turned around and ran the other way.we ran to the front door and it opend.we ran outside.thankgod we were alive.alive to fear them.and you know who i’m talking about when i say them.if you don’t believe this story you hane yet to discover whats real.

This sounds like the perfect background and reson for a site to be hunted. it is kind of like the white 2 storie house on suger mountain. near west fork. this house has been a hot spot for a loooong time. It was a old doctors office before to which the basement was used like a morge. my team and i have picked up bunches of evps there of a women talking. the best thing we have ever seen ( to which i wish i had brought more batters for the camra) we where having fun walking back to my co lead invetogator robs house when right as we go to the edge of the property we heard a high pitched screem we turned around to see a girl in a wedding like looking drees that was all blue standing there excpt she was standing about 6 feet off the ground. we stode in pure terro for about 10 sec then we turned around to run but right as we turned she screemed aging and like dived at us well what would you do…..run like HELL. We ran back to his house and to his room where we sat there in fright that she (the girl sprit) might come to his house we waited the remader of the nite up and scard. till morninig. that is one investagtion i and my team will never for get.

i really think it is so neat i was visited by a ghost recently i have some ghost pics to they r so wild one of my x boyfriend was killed last year and he came to me i was by myself with my dog and he was tripping out and all of the sudden a cold breeze from behind me and i didnt have any windows open so i think it was him because i felt something touch my sholder and he always did that but anyway yes i beleave thanks if u want i will put the pics on my website when i get one

There’s a place called Rea Vally of Flippin Arkansas where there were not one but two houses several people clamed were haunted. Both had burnt down misteriously, some clame both houses were burnt by the same people, unknown people in a large black van.
One of those houses I actualy stayed in. It was so old it had no indoor plumbing. They say the man who built it killed his wife and child and then hung them upside down to bleed in a small brook, and then killed himself. No one knows why.
In this house doors would open and shut, the room would get cold out of no where then hot again. But the strangest thing was the man who would apear in the yard sometimes ranting and screaming then would just disapear.
Some people clame to see people walk along this road in Rea Vally and then the people they saw walking would just disapear.
I don’t know the truthes behind all the stories as things get twisted through time, but I do know that it is a strang place to visit.

Hey that sounds really creepy well something happened to me and it freaked me out I was picked up at my house in cedervile and i did not know who did it and it was not my mom or dad cause i saw right thought him or her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! creepy!!!!!!!!!!!

Next to Mauritius there is this little island called Rodrigue. My mum had to move there with her family when she was young. They moved into this double story house. at night they would here strange noises caling ‘help…help’
In the morning my granmother would wait outside on the varandda while my mother and her brother(1) & sisters(2)went to school and my grandfather went to work. She was really scared to stay inside the house. At night again they started to here things as though someone was washing the dishes and someone singing when doing the vacuming. This kept happening every night so all of my mothers sisters and brothers decided to slept in the same bedroom. One of those nights the sound started to get very close to there bedroom so my mums brother got his gun and said whos there and everything went quiet, they were all so scared! The next day while everyone was out my grandmother was too scared to stay inside so she went out to the market. There she met our new neighbour. She spoke to her about what was happening and the women mentioned something about someone dying in the house, in the backyard the grave was there. My grandma did not recall seing a grave stone there but the women said she will show my grandma where the grave is and that there is no stone cause the family of the dead person did not get to doing that. When the women showed my grandmother the grave they found out that they woke the spirit cause my grandmother had planted veges in the grave so they quickly unplanted everything and left the house, too scared to sleep there again. Iswear this really with all of my heart!!!

Well my sister Tori,my friend brooke,and I went to this farm that my horses are staying at.And there is like a little home with the place.So we decided to go in and take a look.There was a chair, a couch, and a bunch of books.But the wierd thing is that we saw a calender from 1980.Then we went around the corner and we thought we saw a teenage girl that had cuts on her face.And I was taking care of my pet when I heard Brooke and my sister scream.And when they came back they were out of breath.They told me they heard footsteps in the house.It’s a really big farm and I found a dead chicken with his head cut off on the floor.Just the whole farm really freaks me out.(The things that we saw)books,a ribbon,a saw,pond,a big walk way,and an anchor.I mean there was lots of other things but to many things.Well I would like you’re help so get back to me please.Thank you.

I am from Arkansas, and just so happen to be somewhat of a ghosthunter.. Ive been to this house and every house in the stories exclaimed above me.
Not once have I encountered a spirit or ghost, if you will.
Ive stayed in theese places on more than one occasion, and the stories behind it are myths.
I have even hired psycics, messed around with the boards, and taken pictures that have no sign of paranormal activity.
If you want me to believe any of this mess, then you need to show me some proof.. Otherwise, you are doing nothing but fooling around on the internet and/or seeing how many people will fall for it or agree..
Which.. is rather funny if you ask me

WOW!!! Thats a great story…That reminds me of this one house called “Brook”. I didn’t really understand why that was the name of it , untill I heard the story. About 100 years ago, the Maxon’s had a daughter named Brook (the houses name. On her 18th birthday, her and her friends had the idea to go and spend the night out behind her house. All was going well untill they heard tree branches falling. They all ran inside the house, all but Brook. They thought that she was right behind them the whole time they were running. That next day, everyone including her father and mother went looking for her. They searched every where but in the basement. They thoguth that no one would ever go down there. About a week later, the police and towns folk decided to look in their basement. What they found were alot of old magazines, a broken chair, and Brook’s body, all mangeld and twisted. they gave her the proper funeral,(a closed casket)and let everyone say their good byes. About a month after the accident (or so it was called, people began to feel that someone was watching them when they were in the house, other people, including myself, have believed that we have seen her or her ghost. This accident happened on her birthday, November 17th. I would suggest that sometimes, hearing is believing!!!

hey i have been a horror fan sense i was born due to the fact that my father used to make me watch horror movies and of the fact that I see spirits and of the dead. And others but do to the matter of which I am here for. I have not been pleased with the Films of past year 2006 and this year 2007. I have yet to see anything that might be arm hair raising enough. So I decided to make a movie and I am going to school to be a filmer … Iknow it might just be a dream but its worth a shoot to give people nightmares on true events that can happen right next door instead of a fiction. Some of these places are fascinating. I am 20n years old and for a very long time I have believed in ghosts and vampires. However, I’m still studying them. I think I have had in encounter. I don’t really want to, but it all makes me want to visit these places to find out and I’m a scaredy cat. My husband tells me this and tries to scare me sometime. I love this webstie.

I live in Diamond Head Hot Springs AR. I have heard that the area I live is supose to be haunted by deamons and ghosts. I have heard Diamond Head is haunted by a few people, if anyone else knows anything about this rumor please commit back!

If you are interested in locating other haunted buildings around Arkansas you can find a list at casprquest.com. There are also videos posted of orbs and other phenomenom taken at the old Sanatorium in Booneville. Thousands of people died of TB in this hospital prior to 1973, that would seem to make it a very likely place for paranormal activity.

I used to work at the colony (TB sanitorium). Yes it is haunted. Every year for Samhain the colony puts on a spook house. Since my arrival in Arkansas (born and raised in Fresno, California) I have volunteered for this. While one cannot get much activity during the hours of the spook house, when everyone is gone, the ghosts like to play. Several ghost hunting groups have been up there to investigate and all have concluded that it is indeed haunted. I have been ghost hunting for about 10 years now (since I lived in California) and I find the state of Arkansas to be very active (not as active as California) but it’s worthy of quite a few haunts. I have recently started a new paranormal group and have a temporary website up until I get my domain up and running.
The TB Sanitorium now requires donations to investigate. Anyone interested needs to come with a paranormal group and give a small donation anywhere between 10 and 20 bucks a person.
If you are seriously seeking to gather legitimate information and “see” and “feel” things, I suggest going with a group of no more than 8. The last group to investigate the TB Sanitorium had about 30-40 people with them. In this sort of instance you will find NOTHING. The less people trapesing around, the better.

He lost his farm in a bet. Killed wife and son with ax (did not take his own life after that), then turned himself in to the police. Went to jail, (remember, he lost farm in a bet) Got out and put bars over the windows. Well, my question is, How was it that this man was released from jail after killing his wife and son in cold blood? Would that not be a life or death sentence?
Way too many holes in this fabricated tale.
