First Ave. Club
Once Greyhound Bust Station, it has been said that several homeless people have died here. In particular, one teenage girl allegedly hanged herself in stall five of the womens restroom. IT has been said that if one enters the stall after dark, her ghost will appear. There have also been reports of equipment being thrown off the stage during musical shows.

Considering that the club management used to hold regular “cleansing” rituals. Yes, I know it’s true. Oh, and because once while I was in “the” stall, the doors of the stall next to me bent back, slamming against my door blocking me in. I had to crawl out under the door to get out of the stall. Not cool. Nobody else was in there. The radiators were hissing and steam was coming out. I ran out of there and try to avoid having to use their restroom whenever I’m there.

First of all, this was a greyhound BUST station? Ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Your kidding! Secondly, if it was a bus station, as I believe the author meant, how the hell was musical equpitment being tossed around? And third, what’s the name of the chick that “allegedy” hung herself? And with what? Jeesh… get your FACTS straight!

First Ave is definately haunted, however, the original writer of this story is definately not a fact checker. In all my research of First Avenue hauntings, this is the FIRST time I’ve heard anything about a girl in bloody clothing with red eyes. The most common reports are a woman in an army jacket who walks away if approached or simply vanishes. Occasionally sound techs or DJ’s have reported really odd noises in their headsets.
I’ve been to First Avenue many times, and while I’ve sensed something amiss, I’ve never actually seen anything. I have a former friend who used to be a stage manager there back in the early to mid 80’s and he’s seen the girl in the army jacket a few times. (Mainly noticed her when the place was actually closed and he knew there shouldn’t be anyone there.)

I’ve heard of First Ave being haunted, but I’ve never experienced anything paranormal, except during one show, my friends and I took pictures of the bands from up on second floor (in the Seventh Street Entry part) and when we got them developed there were a bunch of orbs on them.
I hate their bathrooms, anyway… the stalls don’t lock.

Hello Everyone!
My name is Ryan and i am completely a big believer of the supernatural. The reason being is because i believe they are all spirits that are trying to find a proper resting place. I am currently down in Burnsville Minnesota and would love to be able to encounter supernatural force. Back in Michigan where i’m originally from i have witnessed some pretty scary moments but i would love to be able to visit them in person here in Minnesota. So if anybody has some good advice for me to look without getting into trouble for crossing private property please email me at sunmonkey03@yahoo.com.
Thankyou Sincerely,
Ryan

If you go to First Avenue, the odds of encountering anything odd (apart from the real, living people there) is extremely low. On a crowded night, a ghost could walk through the middle of the dance floor banging a big metal drum and no one would notice.
That said, there are many accounts of strange goings-on there. These most often occur in the hours after the club closes when it is quiet and few people are there. These are sometimes in the form of a woman wandering about the club. Occasional reports of harassment in the women’s rest room (such as the woman above claiming that a stall door was held shut on her sounds to me like an occurance that has happened before).
Other disturbances can be purely auditory in nature, such as a manager who was leaving the tunnels in the basement and realized that he had forgotten his keys when he heard them jingling, as if someone were reminding him that he’d left them behind.
The area of the VIP room was once much smaller, broken into a narrow hidden area referred to as “The Cave”, which was positioned between the VIP room and the womens rest room. I agree with MisstrixiB that the space there still creeps me out a little for no rational reason.

I am the founder of the Minnesota Ghost Hunters society and we were allowed entrance to investigate this property. The investigation was inconclusive that any supernatural activity occurs in here. A lot of the stories we heard we were able to debunk. However, there were a few pictures that caught our attention. Visit our site to find out the entire story behind this night clubs investigation. We also have pictures available from that night and other investigations that we have done.
very cool club, though. Love the shows they put on.
