Ten years ago, a man hanged himself in this house. Today, the television emits a green light from the screen when it is unplugged. Lights flash on and off, footsteps are heard, and the bed in the master bedroom seems to vacillate between sides of the room.

  1. I’d just like to say that all the weird stuff on this one I can’t explain, except for one very simple thing. TV DOES in fact glow green when it is switched off because of the phosphor in the tube and ofcourse because the shadow mask was lit up (like little lights basicly). This can be seen best when the lights are off. But if the TV has a slow spot suppression, which can happen to ANY TV (new or old), then it could be a more intense glow or shine. And it can then even be on, like just ONE spot.

    And yes please, all the people commenting are right. Your site should have some photos or addresses or something. I mean anyone can just think up a story and post it. Some would need to verify these stories to satisfy their own beliefs.

  2. I agree with this other person, IF we had an address, a location that could be visited these stories could be justified. I have witnessed several Hauntings in Wisconsin, I have seen things that couldn’t be explained. There IS another dimension besides the 4 dimensions we KNOW of, the 3 dimensions of space and that of time, the 5th dimension? There is more than what we know. Please TRY to give us more information, I for one would like to investigate some of these IF I had the location and the permission of the owner.

  7. I kide you not, when I was a little girl we had this bed in our house that my Mother first husband died on. My mother had told me when he was dieing he had told my mother that he was going to take this pickfork and kill her. As he was saying this he was on his knees in the bed. After he had past away, his ghost was in the bed. The bed was never put up at our house, and it laid against the wall in the back bedroom upstairs. I remember that bed would shake and my mother would yell out and say Belford you SOB stop shaking that bed and it would stop. I had alway heard it but once I was upstair when my mother and sister-n-law were walllpapering, they had the back door open to that room and the bed started to shake. I have to say I ran down stairs real fast. My mother got ride of the bed and I never knew after that if it still shake.

  10. I live in a haunted house and I have two ghost in my house and their names are Lily and Candy. But they would never do anything to you because they never do anything to my house or me. Also they died in my celler and I found a note in the celler that said “I’m going to be back for revenge and you can’t ever get me back because you will be dead.” Well I hope you think I tellng the truth. Well bye!!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!

  11. Ohh and also my mother died in that house when she was about 50 years old. Well I had seen my dad kill her and she didnt do anything to him and he killed her thats stupid itn’t it. Well bye got to go. Write me back if you think I’m lieing or telling the truth.

  20. I have been there!He didnt hang himself he shot himself.He was mayor of lexington so under the house were tunnels to all over the city.The house is really old and the room he died in is VERY CREEPY!!!!

  22. My TV tells me to kill…therefore, I kill. I’ve killed a lot of people such as my neighbors and lots of small animals and such. I sometimes like to urinate on things such as coats so when people put them on when they’re walking out the door they don’t really smell right away until they’re in the car or something and then the other people around them think that they were the ones urinated!! LOL!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Coffee anyone??

  28. Like Carmella I live in Lexington,not as long as she however but yet I havent heard about this house either. Im no ghost hunter just a curious bystander. I’d like to see the house.. You would think with all the history Lexington holds there would be more hauntings.(Is that political correct?).

Reading about ghosts really intrest me and i agree if u dont believe in this kind of stuff than why bother wastin ur time writin stupid comments that we have wasted our time readin when its not even about the topic. GROW UP. and i been to far more haunted places than this web site shows. but never again will i return to those places to get pictures… its places u have to see with ur own eyes.

  30. Where is this house. I have lived in Jessamine/Fayette county for 16 years. I am right on the border line of both counties and have not heard of any haunted houses or places that are in these threads but trying to find some as my 11 year old son is very interested in them.

  31. I have lived in lexington since the 70s and I have never heard of this house. I do know that there are tunells under the city that you can enter through various locations close to downtown area I have always heard that it was a part of the underground railroad
