Ghostly Lights
This quaint restaurant, famous for its pickles, is said to be frequented by three separate apparitions. There are two females and one farmer. Workers have reported seeing ghostly lights throughout the building. They have also alleged many of the tools in the kitchen moving and performing by themselves. In the restaurant, there is also a book for guests to record their observations.

If you are going to print it, at least spell it correctly – Waxahachie!

Uhhh…the people who claim this is a fake OBVIOUSLY don’t live in Texas. ANYONE from Texas knows about the Catfish Plantation and how it’s really haunted.

I just have to say that I did visit the Catfish Plantation in Waxahachie Texas . My girlfriend needed my help to move away from her abusive husband . And on the way to her house I saw this little restaurant . And thought I’d take her there for lunch .
I had no idea of the history of this place was . Just thought it would be neat to go inside and eat .
Long story short . This lady came up to me and wanted to know if I liked sugar in my tea and I said yes ….
My girlfriend stared at me and said who the hell are you talking to ?
And when I turned around the lady was gone . She was dressed in old timey clothes ( as I call them ) not sure what year . But I thought that the people that worked there dressed up for the part . ……………….Guess what ? They don’t ! Let’s just say I believe in ghosts now . I’ve never been to a real haunted place before . Didn’t really believe in ghosts before . But never really disbelieved either . My expereince is just that . I didn’t get a picture or anything …. cause I didn’t know I’d need one . But I DID see this lady plain and clear . And heard her with my own ears . Her appearance only lasted long enough to ask me if I wanted sugar in my tea . And then she was gone ……..

This place is really haunted. I have been there
several times but I can tell you that one time in
particular I was there and all of a sudden it got
really cold where my husband and I were sitting and
we looked around but there were no air conditioning
vents. But then again why would they put that
on in the winter time? It has really great chicken
fried steak!!!!

I have been to this restaurant several times and in my
own opinion it really is haunted. One afternoon my
husband and I decided to go and we were sitting
in this one area when it got really cold, we looked
around and there were no vents for the air conditioning. But then again, why would there be
in the winter time?

I lived in Waxahachie for six years and ate at the Catfish Plantation frequently. One year on Halloween while taking my children trick-or-treating we stopped by and the place was packed. My child was dressed in a ghost costume and everyone wanted to take a picture with him (because he is sooooo cute) NEway, there is a Catfish Plantation sign right in front of the building and everyone gathered around the sign with my child in the middle. I took probably 10 pictures for all the people and one for myself. When we got them developed you could see numerous orbs around the group and up in the trees surrounding the property. I would say this is a truly haunted place to check out!

I ate at Catfish Plantation one time and this is what happened to me. While sitting at the table I felt somthing rub on my leg. I was sitting at the table alone so nobody else at the table could have done it. Also, while visiting the ladies room, I experienced a very cold spot just inside the door.

I used to work at this restaurant a few years ago before it burned down, and i was there on very late nights by myself even, and i never experience any kind of activity. i believe in ghosts, but never saw anything there. i think it is nothing more than something that has gotten carried away.

Why would all of you people who don’t believe this sort of stuff even be on this website? And you are all really childish leaving those nasty comments up there. Open your enclosed sheltered lives a bit.
