Governor’s Bridge

07.23.2005 | 8:58 pm | Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States

Many years ago, a young unmarried teen-aged girl became pregnant. Afraid to tell her parents, the girl took her newborn baby and dropped it over the side of the bridge. Realizing what she had done, the girl jumped from the bridge and fell to her own death. Today, the woman stands in the middle of the bridge, frightening drivers. One truck driver drove into the side of the bridge trying to avoid hitting the woman. When police went to investigate the scene, there was no evidence of anyone having been on the bridge.

  3. Yeah, there’s supposed to be an old satanic church nearby(mostly BS)

There’s another variation of the story,

A family was in a car accident, every member died…. except the crying baby that later died at a local hospital. Supposedly you can still hear the crying. :/

  14. I heard about the bridge where the woman dropped her baby in the lake and then felt guilty so she jumped in to kill herself. My parents passed across that bridge to go fishing one day while they were passing across that bridge they were frightened by a woman crying and soaked with water. They stopped to ask her what had happened and why she was wet and crying but she soon vanished into thin air.

  15. In reference to earlier comments, this is different from Cry Baby Bridge. Cry Baby Bridge is in Upper Marlboro, Md, further down Rt. 301. The directions to Governor’s Bridge are: From Washington, D.C., take Rt. 50 East toward Annapolis. Get off on 301 South (Crain Hwy.) and turn left of to Governor Bridge Rd., if you get to Patuxent River Rd., you’ve gone too far.

  20. I’ve lived in Lothian MD years ago and that bridge is off of Central Ave. RT. (214) just pass SIX FLAGS south. On the right is Harwood Rd. and Governer Brdg. Rd. is directly across on the left. My sisters and I use to travel Gvrnr. Brdg. Rd. as a short cut to Ft. Meade back in the day. We had never ever heard about this story. However while coming from the Ft. Meade area one night we traveled this rd. Afar off we saw this lady in white cloths that was glowing briter then the car lights. We slowed down and watched this lady slowly look at us with this lost look. She was soak and wet. Doing as black foke do, we turned that car around so fast and went back down Davidsonville rd. nstead. Once we got home we talked about it and could not phathum if it was real. I’t had to be, because all 3 of us saw the samething. I for one always believed in ghost, but niether of my sibblings did, until that summer night in 1991. Sence that time none of u have traveled that Rd.
More power to the next one.

  21. I live fairly close to the bridge. If it is the same bridge I used to ride over on my motorcycle years ago…it is a one lane bridge (at least it used to be) and very low to the water. I can believe she dumped the baby in and killed it. But if she jumped, she would not have died - not from that height. It was really rural and isolated when I used to ride back there.

There was another more believable story - about two cars hitting headlong on the bridge (to cross - you had to wait if another car was coming thru). Supposedly, some people were hurt and somebody got killed. It would make more sense to research the bridge and see if anybody REALLY died on or near the bridge.

There have been many creepy sounds but I’ve never heard the sounds of the “cry” but I still am hopeful and look for the trouble. There did use to be an old church not far from there all alone in the woods, I have been there it’s on the P.G. county side. That place was creepy felt like I was being watched from downstairs…..But as far as the bridge…I have seen white flashes in the woods but nothing we stayed to see more of…I will still try to hear, you surposed to be there at midnight……….happy haunting

You might have heard of Creepy College or Hell House as I like to call it, but they also have a cry baby bridge, and if you put your car in neutral, something actually lifts it up the hill! Right by both of the “attractions”, is 7 hills. Alot of people die there because they are reckless drivers, but if you go be careful, 7 hills is on college ave in ellicott city hell house and the bridge is right after you get off the road.

  30. Directions from Brooklyn-take 97 to rt 540 east, then follow Eric’s direction above.
I remember years ago joy riding to the bridge late one night because of the ghost stories told. The story I heard was that the teen hung herself from the middle of the span after dropping the baby over.
Well the night we took that ride, we got a flat tire just after we crossed the bridge. It was pouring down rain and the one guy we had with us didn’t want to get out of the car(he was afraid) We all ended up standing next to him while he changed the tire. We were scared to death! But… never really heard or saw anything. The fear was the thrill!!!

Again…the bridge in question is only a few feet off the river. You won’t die from the jump. I agree with an earlier comment that if this woman (no name given - strange) had a baby (full-term) - then the parents must have known about it. This urban myth has very little if any verifiable data - so it is very difficult to research. No date, no name. You do have a bridge. Brianna, I believe in ghosts. I have actually experienced ghost and EVPs myself. My thought for you is to go back to school - learn how to write and speak - and stop attacking everyone verbally that takes a different view from yourself. People, find a new bridge…this story is lame.

  39. Well actually plenty of girls have hidden their pregnancies to full term and delivered w/o anyone knowing and then dumping their babies. They usually been found but this is why they created the law where you can drop your baby off at a church, police department, fire department w/o being prosecuted or arrested. I know it is hard to conceal a pregnancy being I was pregnant and my belly was HUGE but I dont know maybe they starve theirselves, but girl do get away with it.

I live 1 mile from the bridge and drive across it twice a day, never seen anything but it is creepy. we were there at midnight on Halloween, drunk as monkeys on red wine just standing on the bridge but witnessed nothing. I did, however, get 2 flat tires driving across it one day on my way to work.

  41. There are many cry baby bridges…but if you notice this Bridge always comes up when you are searching for haunted places in Maryland. I lived near the bridge for a very long time and still do. Now, the girl never jumped, too shallow….she had the baby and her parents dis-owned her, she lied and told them she was giving the baby up…but really bundled the baby up and tossed into the water…feeling so guilty she went back to the bridge later that night and choked her self over the side simply by dangling. They found the woman of course as well as the baby..thats how the story came to be….

I believed it but never that it was haunted, untill 3 years ago in the summer time….its kinda funny how people commenting about flat tires above..because i came along at 2:30am just before the bridge with a flat tire..living there so long i didnt care about walking..it wasnt that far and it was warm. So I got out put my hazards on and started to walk…..I came to the middle of the bridge and heard the sound of someone struggling for air? stopped in fear..i mean completely almost pissed my pants..i couldnt move..literally, I felt the coldest air surround me and behind me almost like someone whispered in my ear when i turned quickly to look a car was coming and i suddenly was able to move aside….

it happened so fast…but it was so scarey and realistic that it seemed like it was never ending…i definately belive that s**t, without a doubt because i experienced it without even believing it was even haunted..untill that crazy *** night.

  43. Question?
Do you ever know things before they happon? Be going about your every day routine, to suddenly Feel like I’ve got to get out of here NOW!!! RUN,RUN,GO! Then tell yourself, stop it! nothing is wrong! second guess yourself. (Spend years thinking you have panic attacks) Only to run full speed from what you keep trying to tell yourself is nothing. Then find out your fear was justified, and thank God you left when you did? Ever have a feeling about someone or yourself, pop into your head, real quick to where you won’t even hear it if you choose not to. Only to find out it happoned or the thought plays out the next day. Do you seem to “Feel” the emotions of total strangers? Dispair, Hurt, Physical & emotional? Just want to tell them why they are upset, cause they are confused, and how it is all going to play out, cause you know it will bring them peace. But you cant cause the men in the white coats will be waiting for you?
The reason for my questions: If your answers are yes. Guess What? Your not nuts! You are what is called “Sensitive”. (A, Sensitive). You unconsciously are affected by small changes around you. Such as, environment, emotions or curcumstances of others. You are Sensitive to the world around you. Not everyone is. This is why some see or feel those who died in dispair and can sort of connect with them and then some will never believe cause they will never see. They just don’t have it.
    Anyway, Haunted House!!!
A house was built on Quarterfield rd, about 8 years ago. Beautiful home, santa fe style rancher. When A custom home is built like this the people stay. Not in this house. The house took a year to build, and has had 3 different owners. The owners only live in the house on average 1 year. The house sits empty average 1 year, that in itself is strange when you see this beautiful home. A situation required me to go to this house, knock on the door, give the tennent some good news. I rung the door bell and left! I brought my husband back and wanted to see if he felt the sensation, and he’s not sensitive. Well he did! Know one was home and the airconditioner was off but the curtains in one room would open, then it would move the the next room then stop. the sensation was electric. The hair stood up on your arms. you feel “Her” right away. I feel it is a girl, a young girl who was killed, along time ago. I think or feel she is in the court yard of the house, she wants to go home. Give her parents closure. Such saddness. If you ever get to experiance this house. Be careful. and Respectful of the owners property. Again the house is vacant.
If you have any info about the house or “her” submit a comment, mabe give “her” closure

  44. I went to Governor’s Bridge last night, a.k.a cry baby bridge. It’s a rusted old metal bridge deep in the woods that sits over sewage water. I’ve lived in Annapolis for a long damn time, and have heard at least 30 different stories about the bridge. So Halloween night, me and my friend’s decided to go, and of course nothing eerie happened at all. We stood on the bridge for about an hour and a half, because we had nothing better to do. Perhaps I should debunk some myths here. The reason there are so many accidents near governor’s bridge is because of the dark, very narrow, and winding construction of the roads. The bridge itself is only wide enough for one car to go over. So I attribute the number of accidents to this, and not some ghost car. Yes, you can see cars in the water below the bridge, but that is because the bridge sits over what use to be a junk yard, and still remains a dump for trash. Lastly, the baby story is true. My grandmother remembers this from 1963. A young girl did indeed toss her baby to the water below; at the time the bridge was nothing more than a rickety wooden footbridge. However, my grandmother states that young girls all around the nation would frequently throw their baby’s off bridges because teenage, and out of wedlock pregnancies were socially unacceptable. Abortion was not accessible, and birth control was new, so it wasn’t widely used. Girls would hide their pregnancies, and dispose of the babies before anyone knew something was a miss. So that is why there are tons of “cry baby” bridges across the nation. Point is, there are no ghost cars that cause you to wreck, no lady that walks the bridge, no crying baby being heard, and nothing paranormal at all. It’s all urban legend.

  45. It’s really funny reading everyone’s version of cry-baby bridge..I will admit at first you think it’s bull*** I went there 3 or 4 different times with different friends…I never heard no baby crying…but…there was a black car that had chased a car full of us one time like it was going to hit us off the road…if your going down towards the bridge and that big barn with all the graffiti is on your right..turn around and make a right on the dirt road..that is the scariest frickin road..cause that’s where this happened at…and the bad thing about it is that it disappeared…I know what we saw, and it’s the truth…the 2nd time we went back to actually hear the so called baby and didn’t hear notta, but we did get pulled over by the police because we were being so obvious…So there might not be no baby crying…but there’s something…On that dirt road…and if you got marbles walk it!!!!!!!

  55. My cousin and I were on our way back to her house one night last summer. She lives in Upper Marlboro…and we do know of this one bridge that neighbors and ourselves have called “cry baby bridge”…its a super low bridge that stands above a very shallow stream. This particular road is ALWAYS foggy…esp. at night, the clouds are low and usually the weather has shifted to be a little bit chillier…anyways…this one particular night we’re driving home and we’re just about to reach the bridge when my cousin starts flipping out like she all of the sudden remembered where we were and she wants to turn around and get the hell out of there cause she never drives over the bridge at night. So since she is freaking out, I start getting scared too, and I tell her she’s just got to drive, and we’ll be over it in a matter of seconds….but she had already stopped in the middle of the road…which to me was worse than just sucking it up and driving over it…yes, so we’re STOPPED on this skinny little dark road, about 25 feet away from the bridge, and we both start yelling she says she “cant go…she wont go” I’m yelling “GO! JUST GO! GO!” so finally she floors it and I’m holding onto my seat with all I’ve got and I close my eyes, and we’re over it. We’re both scared out of our minds, but I am stupid and curious; so I look in the side view mirror just to see if I can see any thing…it could have been my imagination but I’m almost possitive I saw something move across the road in the fog…the fact that the fog was reflecting our car’s breaklights didnt make the situation any better…cause I just remember this image of a figure shown in a hazy red light.

I wont drive over that bridge at night, unless I’m with my parents.

  56. I agree with Shadow that the Governor’s Bridge is not very high and it’s still a one-way bridge the last time I went down it - last year. I didn’t particularly care for going over it as it’s metal and you can see thru it. Now maybe there are several Governor’s Bridges throughout MD, which is possible. I don’t see how anyone would be killed jumping off this bridge besides maybe breaking your ankle or something. You know how it goes, until you do a lil background check on the stories that’s the only way you’re going to find out what’s truth or folklore.

  58. I pass over this bridge frequently as a shortcut to get to Chik-fil-a for breakfast in the morning. The bridge is located on Govenor’s Bridge Rd. Halfway between Davisonville MD and Bowie MD. The Patuxent River passes under th bridge, this is the not only the dividing point for the 2 towns listed above, but also for Prince Georges and Anne Arundel County. I want to urge everyone to use extreme caution, this bridge is on a very windey and dangerous Rd. The bridge itself is a one lane bridge so you must stop before passing to make sure that there is no oncoming traffic. Also another word of warning, drunkards commonly use this backroad to avoid police. Be careful!! I don’t drive the road alone at night and and anytime I go over that road I always say a special prayer of protection. The bridge has it’s fair share of legends and stories associated with it but the surrounding swamp and marsh land are equally as creepy and haunted. There used to a be a little area right before the bridge on the PG side where you could park but just recently Jersey Barriers have been placed to block off the entrance. if you would like more info you can contact me at the following genegroom “at” verizon. net You should leave the spaces out and use the @ for “at” i do this so my email won’t be spammed. I do live fairly close to this location.

We walked down one night and it just seems so creepy and looks if they just picked up and left. Also…I never thought about the little girl but there are a lot of stuffed animals upstairs. Oh and if you get a chance go in the garage in the back yard…it is like a hanger as people call. I found a lot of blue prints and weird stuff. My friend actually has blue prints from Annapolis mall framed. It is just a creepy place!

If you have any info about the house or “her” submit a comment, mabe give “her” closure

  66. I live right next to governors bridge road i take it everday for work ive been on it in the early hours of the morning theres no ghost jus a load of ****. Theres a crybaby bridge in every state almost its just the same story over and over again. However the bridge is around an area where KKK members meet. Riva and edgewater are both hotbeds for KKK.

  67. I’ve been to this bridge quite a few times with my buddies looking for ghosts. So far all I found out there was a quiet place to drink and an owl which scared the **** out of us. You expect to hear something right? so you’re as quiet as you can be when after about 10 minutes we hear an owl screech. Yeah, sobered me right up. Haven’t seen anything there, and we have gone there a lot. spent some time in my late teens looking for haunted places in Maryland. Found one that I actually saw some things that give me goosebumps to this day 6 years later. Definitely not this bridge though.

  69. This is the bridge that rund between Davidsonville and Bowie. Off of 424 (Davidsonville road), headed towards Crofton, you would make a left onto Governors’ Bridge Road and follow it straight back. Once you cross the bridge, if you keep going, you’ll end up by the Saturn Dealership and Bowie Baysox Stadium parking in Bowie near 301.

  70. I have lived here all my life and this story is true along with the bridge is the story of hell house the old girls college in ellicott city which is no longer there. The story of Black Agie is also true but she was not evil when she was alive she was actually a nurse the eyes glow yes because of the paint that was put on the statue. I believe in this stuff and my father grew up here and has seen plenty. There us another brige but the correct cry baby bridge is in howard county

  72. Hey I somehow ended up on the Maryland section on accident and then saw that y’all have a “Cry Baby Bridge ” too. There is one back in Rock Hill SC, (the town next to my hometown), and the story goes that wayyy back in the day ( before cars were owned by everyone , when they were owned by the wealthy only pretty much). A young mother was leaving a friends house where she had just had dinner, and she gets tired carrying the baby so she stops on the bridge to take a lil breather. She lays the baby on the rail, for a second and the baby fell off the railing. When you go to the site of the bridge you can hear the baby crying and, some pretty weird stuff happens there. My father, When he was about 16-17, and his friends went there one night, (his friend had just gotten a brand new car, seriously the day before), so anyways they were on the bridge laughing about the ghost bc they had never seen it. When they decided to leave, still laughing it up, they started the car and hit the gas, and the car wouldnt budge, they said that it felt like someone was holding the car in place. When they got out of the car to check it out, there were what looked like fingernail marks all down the trunk. Needless to say they never made fun of the woman from Cry Baby Bridge again! If y’all are ever in the area check it out! Def. Creepy!

  73. its real funny that this is almost the same story as the Kingsville bridge which is right around the corner from the Jericho Covered bridge in harford county. Honestly I belive in some of this haunted stuff and ghost but; I dont see how every bridge could have had a teenage mother drop their child over the edge and then kill herself. Only difference in he bridges is that the mother at Kingsville bridge was kicked out by her parents and hung herself after killing the baby not jumping to her death.

    Comment by Patty | 10.1.2007 | 11:16 pm

  74. the real story is the girl hung herself from the bridge after tossing the baby. how - don’t know and nobody ever will. the bridge isn’t bad at all, it’s all the dead walking the road that will get you.

  75. another truly haunted place is beverly beach in mayo. the kalbs, who owned it, were my step fathers parents. real strange people. there were two buildings along the water front that housed rides from the abandoned amusement park, nothing came out the same as it went in. there was also a house just down from the two buildings right on the water. the grandparents lived there for a long time, a summer place for them, i remember being there and seeing people walking the grounds and in the house day and night. one early morning the house went up in flames for no apparent reason. i have not been back since.

  76. Ok this one hits close to home. I live in edge water and my boyfriend, little sister her bf and I were driving down this road one night when we were bored. My bf wanted to scare me and my little sister so when we got on the bridge he turned off the car ( I wouldnt advise anyone else doing this since there is a sharp turn close to the end of the bridge, and you wouldnt want to get hit) well when he turned off the car and rolled down the windows it was pitch black and really quiet.. I mean too quiet for being by the river… I started groping in my purse for my cell phone so that I could shine some light into the car. ( now im a big skeptic when it comes to ghosts, but something about the silence was really scaring me, that and it was so damn dark) SO i couldnt find my cell but i found my camera…so i took a pic of my boyfriend, when it popped up on the screen it was fine, I took a pic of the back seat with my sister and her bf, again the picture popped up a second later and was fine.. than i took a pic of the darkness out the window… my tiny little flash lit up the whole river side.. I didnt see nething, but the pic on my camera wasnt popping up… which was weird cuz again there were fresh batteries and its a new cam… so again i took a pic out the window, this time the pic took 3 seconds instead of the usual 1 and the picture looked like there was a face peering half way into the window… it was really blurred and kinda looked like smoke… the face stayed on the screen for about 4 seconds while everyone in the car who squeezed around the cam screamed… and than my batt light flashed and the cam went dead… well after that we hightailed it out of there… when I got home I put fresh batts in the cam again and started it.. all my pics of that night were on the memory card, except for the four I took in the car… no lie!……. oh if anyone knows of any good places to go could they email them to me with directions.. I live in edgewater… gina_brittney80@hotmail.com tahnks

  77. Grew up in Bowie and lived in Crofton ever since. I’ve been over this bridge more times than I can count. I’ve been at several roadside parties as well late at night and never seen anything. To be honest I never knew it was supposed to be haunted. I’ve been laughing at all this. I know someone was murdered on the road in his car, shot by some wannabe Bowie gangster in the early 90s.

  81. Cry Baby Bridge in Davidsonville Md crosses over the Patuxent River. As a teen we partied there all the time since I grew up just a few miles from it. We have seen and heard many unusual things there. Once the car we were in just shut off and would not restart for quite some time. Then it just started right up, but not until after a break in the erie fog came. It is true that the KKK used to meet there. As well as some Satanic group. But the spot has always been a good fishing spot. Not many go at night though, and those who have have reported some wild things. I know that at one time while i was in highschool, they captured a bob cat in the area and attributed the crying sounds to it as their cry does in fact sound like a baby. I know in reality the story about the girl throwing her baby over happened. You can research it in the public records for the area. I know also that we freaked out my cousin while she was visiting, we had the driver stop the car in the middle of the bridge and act like it wouldnt start, while it was dark my husband >then boy friendheaded into PG county

  83. concerning the bridge. I’ve been there 5 times now and haven’t seen anything. I go with new people every time. I usually show up there around 10pm to 12am. I haven’t seen a thing. For those of you who have, I was wondering if you could tell me the best time to go and actually see the girl. On the other hand, I have seen the car. It reminded me of an old black camaro. It chased us across the bridge before it disappeared. But other then that, nothing has happened. There’s just a bunch of graffiti on everything. I would appreciate some pointers on when to go and what exactly to look for.

  84. Once, when I was 12, my mom gave me a capgun and I shot it at a bird and the bird died. Creepy huh? Oh yeah, a bridge. I killed some babies and jumped off of it. I did a cannonball. Then I hung myself, but I didn’t die, cuz I hung myself by the torso. If you drive over the bridge between 2:30am and 3:17am, I will jump out and offer you weed….err…my ghost will. I used to be a pregnant teenager, but while I was driving with my family over the bridge, I threw up pea soup on my mom and she spun out (cuz there was a storm) and she crashed the car. We all died, cept for my baby that burst out of my ****** 3 secs before the crash. My baby’s name is Kyle and his favorite color was blue, because he turned blue in the freezing water. as for the church….now this was same night 15 years ago….. we went there also…..F@@@ing creepy…you could smell death…..I touched the door( i was dared) but I wanted to do it..it was sooo cold that night, but the door was warm like hot warm….you could feel nothing good happened there….they would not touch it!!! But I youst to live with a ghost so it did not bother me…..but the road up to the church….alll the houses you couid see from the road all had red candle lights in the windows?????? I saw some weird stuff, but it all turned out to be deer when I pointed the flashlight, the weird car turned out to be some guys driving around smoking weed, and all the moving objects were shadows from a flashlight as I moved it.

  93. I live in crofton, md. this past summer my friend and i were driving around on some back roads off of patuxent road. (if you’re on 424 and and go straight across route 3. go straight for a while, when you get to the stop sign, most people turn right. go left or straight) at the end of one of those roads, i dont remember which one, there was a church. i dont remember the name, or ever hearing anything about it. the roads themselves were terrifying, just driving with the windows down freaked us out. it was the middle of summer but it felt like it was 40 degrees out. anyways, we parked in the church parking lot thinking we could catch our breath. bad idea. the church was pitch black. we got an weird, freaked out feeling and all the sudden a red glow turned on inside the church and we saw a shadow pass by a window. there were no other cars in the parking lot.

so we turned around and went back to where we started and went down the other not so popular road. call us whimps but it was terrifying. we couldnt even make it all the way down. the pavement stopped and it was gravel. the trees just seemed to encompass you on the road like there was no way out. when we’re feeling brave we’re going back, we want to see if something for real actually happens.

  94. The true haunting of Governor’s Bridge is the local lore of it’s own story. The idea of something haunting this area is the true nature of it’s own tale. Actual events of this young lady who did away with her baby, then herself certainley seems to be the fuel of the story. Then you add in all the years of spinning story around story. With someone adding in a wee bit here, and a lil bit there, you will end up with a believable story that gathers as it goes. I am a 35 year old man and I personaly have spent many, many nights there fishing. The scariest thing I have yet to see during those times was some of the Carp I pulled from the river itself. I have arrived when it was still lite outside, built fires and stayed till it was once again lite outside. Not a single time have I witnessed something strange or paranromal even. I am in no way, shape, or form a skeptic. I do my own investigations and I live for the standing hairs and wavy chills that pass thru my body when I am in the presence of the paranormal. But I do not believe there is anything “haunting” about this bridge or it’s area. As long as there are people to continue the story, it will stay around and maybe even grow some more. Maybe someday someone will allow an investigation at the farm house near by. I know for a fact that this paticular place is haunted. Have seen it with my own two eyes. It’s an old farm house, still lived in, in the Davidsonville. Still has the slave quarters on the property.

  95. This is NOT true, Governors Bridge is NOT haunted. Ive been over and on the bridge a MILLION times. Ive seen nothing, my friends have seen nothing. I mean a lot of teenagers go there at midnight like it says to do and nothing EVER happens. This is NOT the real Cry Baby bridge.

    Comment by Sara | 02.20.2008 | 5:07 pm

  96. I used to work right off of Governor’s Bridge Road, and used it to get to D.C. every day (and frequently in the evening) - crossing the bridge - and never saw anything there. My boyfriend at the time lived locally, and I know that he and friends had driven to the bridge (as had others they knew) “ghost hunting” with absolutely no success. I would not recommend a long trip there to be dissapointed. It is a little creepy/off the beaten track, and is mainly used by locals and fisherman. So seeing someone on the side of the bridge or in the water is very commonplace and not at all spooky unless you are determined to make it so with your imagination! Sorry!

  97. For all the people who say this place is not haunted and went there and nothing happened , let me ask you. How many times have you went here? People just guess that if they go to a place ONE time and nothing paranormal happen’s then its not haunted. Do some research on investigating before you come on here and say a place is not haunted.

I ACTUALLY TRIED TONIGHT TO GET THERE WITH MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER FOR HER FIRST GHOST HUNT BUT DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINS THE BRIDGE WAS CLOSED BUT I WILL BE TRYING AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. I THINK IF YOU WANT A TRUE PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT GOVERNORS BRIDGE, IT IS EXCITING EVEN IF YOU DON’T SEE ANYTHING ON YOUR FIRST TRIP. I THINK MORE THAN ONE TRIP IS REQUIRED BEFORE YOU GIVE UP ON A HAUNTING, TRUST ME IT’S WORTH A SECOND LOOK.
