And yes you can die very quickly if the Thyroid Storm is not treated. And the diease is not spread from person to person, it’s a problem with the Tyroid only.

Yes there is a Thyroid fever also known as Thyroid Storm I know that because I have been through it myself. My fever spiked at 105 i was very sick a few months later I had to have my Thyroid removed.
