Real Haunted House

Gravity Hill

Moorsville, Indiana

About sixty years ago, an elderly woman was making her way up this hill when her car ran out of gas. The woman got out of her car and began pushing it up the hill. She was not very strong, however, and eventually, the car rolled backwards on top of her. As she lie there, injured, an oncoming truck ran over and killed the woman. Today, if one puts his car in neutral at the bottom of the hill, the old woman will push it to the top.

i grew up in north sterling .at thetop of main street about 100yards or so from snake meadow hill rd facing towards town., you find the bottom of asmall hill. stop, put the car in nuetral, and your car will slowly roll up this little hiil, and over the larger hill . sending you down toward sterling

I’ve been to gravity hil with friendsl. I heard the story of the hs students in the bus and where they push your car up the hill. We didn’t have any flour or anything close to sprinkle on the hood but our car did in fact move up the hill..still stunned we even tried a skate board and an empty glass bottle…they both rolled up the hill. We always said about going back with a scale but still yet to go back. Don’t say it’s not true till you have seen it for yourself!

What a bunch of scientifically illiterate tools.

The whole area is on a slope. What appears to be level ground is actually sloping down. And what appears to be uphill is actually close to level.

End of big ******* mystery.

Okay, so I live in Mooresville and I have been to gravity hill. But where we go on gravity hill, there isn’t any train tracks. Gravity Hill is located on Keller Hill Road, just in case anyone was wondering.

Gravity Hills are optical illusions created when there is an obstructed horizon so our eyes can’t really use a reference point to tell whether the slope is an incline or a decline, gravity hills are created when there is obviously this obstruction of the horizon and the surrounding land masses and land features make it appear as though the slope is inclining while in reality it really is a decline. There are hundreds of these type of hills around the world and thousands of supernatural stories that have come of age relating to these hills. So it really isn’t an old lady doing community service from beyond the grave ;)
