Real Haunted House

Greyhound Bus Museum

Hibbing, Minnesota
By Lisa

Located in Hibbing, MN, the Greyhound Bus Museum showcases the history of bus transportation in America, and is reported to be haunted.

Staff members and visitors have reported first-hand accounts of paranormal activity and strange occurrences.  Some include, shadows seen darting across buses, strange noises, tools going missing and showing up elsewhere and windows opening and closing.

One such story is that of a little girl spirit who is most active at 5 a.m. around the museum corridors.  She has even interacted with paranormal investigators via EVP and with local police officers.

According to the Minnesota Paranormal Study Group, the land where the museum sits once was a quarantine camp back in 1918 for those struck with yellow fever.  Also, the fill dirt used for the building construction was that from a former hospital.  Many believe the strange phenomena lurking about have to do with the quarantine camp and the dirt from the hospital.
