man this story is true i went there on a trip and fell and somthing was on top of me it felt like i am a ghost hunter and there something wrong about that place

I worked at this location and can verify and clarify alot of this. First I do not remember exactly what happened to the wife, however the “maid” was pregnant with the owners (mans) child and hung her self in the attic, which has two rooms in it. One is completely closed off and the other room is were they used to make you watch training videos in the 90′s. This room will make your hair stand on end and you constently feel like someone is behind/watching you. The husband killed himself later on in the basement. If you go in the basement it is not uncommon for a freezer door to slam shut on you. the air is thick down there and you want to get out as soon as possible. This is a very true story and as an employee you can go a little crazy working there!!!

My daughter works there right now and has for awhile…she state this is not true…they hear nothing…this story is a bunch of bull

I’ve eaten here before on the second floor.. I had a somewhat strange feeling
as I sat there. If you ask me that area along with riverside tavern or w/e it’s called
has an empty feeling about it.

I have live in the South Bend/Mishiwaka area my whole life and have yet to experience anything paranormal at this Hacienda and I will not believe it until someone can show me physical proof.

i knew this was my favorite place to eat for a reason. i grew up in mishawaka and return to indiana just so i can eat there.now for sure i’m going to the upstairs bathroom, to heck with the one by the exit.Hacienda Rocks!!

a few years ago my uncle was a manager at that hacienda. i guess there used to be an office in the attic and he told me that on several occasions after making sure to turn the lights off he would be walking to his car and could see the light in the attic flicker or just stay on all together. He even had an electrician take a look at it and nothing was wrong. My uncle also said that when he opened in the mornings, upstairs he would regularly find chairs turned over and silverware knocked on the floors.
