i went there for halloween but i didnt experience anything so im skeptical about it but i believe its haunted because my friends mom has been there and saw an imprint of a baby in the crib and a door opened not on cue, but i no not to beleive anything til i hav experienced myself, i want to be a paranormal investigator someday but cant do much about it now so i wish i experienced something there/: but i have seen a photo of an apparition there

ok i dont really know what a pendulum or spirte bord is but i have and idea about them. i think they are the bourds with letters and a skull,a yes and no sign and nubers,or is that a spirte bord ?

Been to the Hanna House many times taken tours, watch a cival war renactment..Even took pictures.. However never felt or seen anything there just heard the stories. However its a pretty cool place to visit

I went to the Hanna House a few years ago for Halloween. I thought it was pretty pointless. In my opinion, it was really just money wasted. It was interesting hearing the stories that people have “experienced,” but I never saw, heard, or felt anything. I believe in spirits and was somewhat saddened by the fact that I didn’t see anything. They also had a haunted house attraction type thing set up outside. You went in through the basement and ended up outside by the street. As far as I’m concerned, don’t waste your money.

When the Hanna House was used for charity as a haunted house I volenteered my time as a “ghost” or whatever. I had 2 “events” that happened to me and others. One lasted for several hours and got to observe it real well. Although these seemed to be supernatural and spookie as hell they did not seem to be evil. I also witnessed others who had apparently seen something unexplained for each time they were very scared. I believe, because of my own experience, that the home definetly has supernatural qualities within it.

My husband and I worked in the Hannah House for their annual Halloween haunted house in 1982. Then we went to a party there that the owner threw for the people who worked in the haunted house for ahlloween. the house is definately haunted. I’m very spiritiaul, and felt lots of things going on in the house both times i was there. None of it bothered me because I grew up in a husnted house that’s really got some evil things residing in it. the Hannah House is mild comapred to the house I grew up in.
The Nichols Mansion is haunted also. Just drive by slowly and feel the vibes. You can’t miss the house if you are looking for it. It’s painted bright yellow with brown trim.

Back in the 1970’s when the Hannah House was first opened up for tours after years of being boarded up (and before it was renovated) I went there on a tour with my family. I had never previously heard any stories about its being haunted or that it was associated with the Underground Railroad. I was a teenager at the time and in no way claustrophobic (I had been spelunking through very narrow spaces with no problems). But when I went into the root cellar of the house, often referred to as a basement, I had an absolute sense of panic in the space, a feeling that I could not breathe and that I HAD to get out of there! I only foungd out about 10 years later that this was the cellar in which the Underground Railroad slaves had experienced a fire in which many of them had died of suffocation. As soon as I left the cellar the sensation left me.

Ever since this incident and my eventually hearing about the deaths of the slaves, I have firmly believed that some sort of psychic, if not physical residue can remain after a violent or disturbed death. i still feel chills every time I tell the story to someone else.
