Helltown

In this town, there are two mysterious roads-both dead ends. The first road gradually becomes a hill. On the hill there is a house that remains completed illuminated at night, though it is said that no one lives there. At the crest of hill, there is a sign that says “Road Closed,” yet the road continues; the remainder is said to be haunted. On the second road, there is aid to be a haunted cemetery. Tress have been to known to move. It is also said that a ghosts sits on a bench in the cemetery and stares blankly into creation.

its really interesting and it tells the ACCUAL truth of boston mills. i read it, its good. gives explanations of the “hauntings.” oh, by the way, there is no bench in the “haunted cemetary” that a “ghost stares into creation” from.

hell town is not true. there are many stories. but they are not true. if you look into the actual history of the town you can see where the stories come from. you should do some research befor you start spreading stories. This is one that just causes people to get in trouble. for example there is no bench in the cemetary.

The story’s a lie, I’ve been to Helltown before and it’s a very interesting place to check out but not haunted at all. I usually go there after snowboarding at Brandywine/Boston Mills resort at 3 in the morning.

Sometimes when I am alone I like to touch myself in what some people would think an inappropriate manner…but it feels good and I cannot help myself. I have a neighbor who likes to watch, I just found this out the other night because I looked up and he was touching himself watching me! So now we touch ourselves together when no one’s looking…

I remember when I was a teenager a tree moved in front of me causing me to walk straight into it…I was drunk at the time…true story…
Anyway now I’m thirty something and no longer a drunken idiot / I still believe in ghosts but I find the shear physics of a tree uplifting its rots and moving a little hard to swollow…still interesting reading.

OK - Here’s a thing. After making this comment last night I read in our local paper this morning about a local Pohutukawa tree that has exploded, thought to be due to people topping it in the past causing the trees weight to be unevenly distributed. Apparently according to the local council it is also not uncommon for Pohutukawa’s to slide down cliffs and re-settle at the bottom. Apparently very hardy trees. Might shed some light?

My brother has been to that, and when he was there, he said that there was a small mound of dirt just sitting there. Then he heard strange moaning and drums and when he looked back the mound was coverd in satanic ritual items and sticks, and more hung from the tree. They were only in for 5 minutes at this point, so it coudn’t be a prank. He scrammed after that incident and now sweats and gets freaked out whenever i remind him.

This is true. My brother in law grew up here and he saw the men in white suits walking around where the alleged chemical spills happened. Also there are many ancient indian burial grounds here. The land is desacrated. People who live in boston hts get real mad that kids creep around so they try to say its false. Also the Jaite Mill nearby is hanuted to and Indigo Lake. It is VERY haunted and satanical… Everyone should go check it out bc its very true. Not a rumor, they just dont want kids around. Keep an eye for the Hostel. Very spoooky

ive been to helltown about 30 times now…and my first time was less than 6 months ago lol, yea im bored, i only live 30 mintues away for anyone who wants good directions…. sure maybe none of the storys are true, no i have never seen a cop there, only thing is the park police or w/e that parks in the overflow parking lot across from main street… i stayed in the hostel on stanford rd one night even, and yes, creppy **** does happen…although storys are fake, its a neat place

and as far as cops, yes i guess it is illegeal to be in a graveyard at night, but i never got arrested and went everytime, i have yet to see another car on the road, except on rt. 21, once i hit boston mills rd/blackrd/bostonmills rd and enter the area, no vehicles…. and yea so **** what Adrienne said, and yea…there is no bench there, just usually foggy as hell if u go at night

Helltown is an interesting place, but not scary. I too have heard the stories and checked it out, but nothin frightenin. We also heard rumors of the Melon People!! LOL… I guess they were deformed people whose heads looked like melons.

Anyways, the only creepy place I know of is Terra Vista. Knew a kid I went to high school with hang himself there.

I’ve also heard about a abandoned mental asylum out that way too, but never found it. Anyone know of it?

I tried going to Hell Town once and it was def creepy. Before we made it to the house we were pulled over and sent back the other way. The cop says the house is rigged with silent alarms that go off at the police station if you get too close to the property. It’s not hauinted, just creepy. One thing I’m confused about tho, do people still live there?

this is so fake.yeah its creepy but thats it.theres no evil devil woshiping people there.its a pretty cool place to check out.but theres a girl scout camp right by the place with hundreds of achers of land.do u really think they would build a girlscout camp next to a place called helltown??

I’ve been there before. There was a road that said closed and we went past it and there was trails and stuff but if you keep walking it gets creepy there like an abandoned house and abandond car in the woods. we went into the house and the electricity was still on and everything.

Although I do not believe in ghosts or anything like that, I am very interested in Helltown and would like to visit there. I’m looking for anyone who can provide in depth information on the town’s history and hauntings. Also, anyone who has had SERIOUS paranormal expierences/ Run ins with the cops.

As for the bench that man of you have claimed not to exist. The bench was removed due to old age and vandalism.
